Kiya seems to have forgotten all the incidents and what Cain had told her just a few days ago because she’s very happy at the moment. Ever since she started living with Cain’s family, there isn’t a single day that she didn’t feel happy. They are a loud bunch, Cain seemingly the deviation in the family, the only normal one as per Kiya’s observation. Sam had known about her situation and did not let her work at the grocery shop anymore so Kiya found herself very free but it seems Cain’s family did not let her worry on what to do with her free time.

First is Alpha Trent who may look strict and serious with the pack but he is a family man at home, always sweet and caring for his wife and children, he showed the same care with Kiya that made her uncomfortable for a while until Cain persuaded her that it was fine. One more thing Alpha Trent does is that he’s always the one doing the chores around the house, it stunned Kiya for sure. Second is Luna Vivian who is usually locked up in her crafts room, designing. When she’s not in her crafts room, she is somewhere being lazy and relaxing. However, since Kiya came, Vivian would eagerly wait until Kiya returned from school to abduct her to her crafts room. When Kiya would go inside, there is always a new outfit ready for her then a photo shoot would ensure, sometimes lasting until dinner. Kiya doesn’t mind at all but Cain didn’t like it since Kiya was always with his mother at home. Then there is Hanna, the beautiful little sister of Cain who is always on her phone or laptop and just like Cain, she was shocked when she found out Kiya has no phone. However, when she’s in the mood, she would hang out with Kiya and Vivian in the crafts room.

Kiya had also observed that she was beginning to know more and more about Cain, being together with him in one roof made her watch him more often. She started noticing his simple habits, his favourite past time and the new habit he just recently acquired, doting on her. Their relationship has even progressed to making out but of course Kiya’s heart still couldn’t take it and she would escape afterwards. It’s the same for Cain, the more he spends time with Kiya especially now that she is so close, he is growing fond of her. All the new things he finds out about Kiya always feed his heart full.

One day, when Cain and Kiya arrived home, the house was empty. After a while, Cain saw the note on the coffee table.

“It seems dad and mom went on a business trip. They’d be back in a few days.” Cain announced for Kiya who went to drink water. Kiya realized this will be the first time she’ll be in the house without the adults.

“Then I’ll take care of dinner later on.” Kiya said after some thought. It will also be her first time cooking in the house since Alpha Trent would never step in the kitchen to help.

“I’ll help you. What do you want to cook?”

“Is curry alright?”

“Sure but I don’t think we have enough ingredients in the kitchen.” Cain went ahead to double check but he came back shaking his head. “Let’s go on a date.”

“What? Now? What about Hanna?” Cain chuckled.

“I mean a shopping date. Let’s go to the supermarket to shop.”

“Oh.”

“But we can go to the motel for a date if you want.” Cain said as he pulled Kiya closer and held her chin up with his finger.

“Stop teasing me, you idiot.” Still, Cain stole a long kiss before letting go.

Cain and Kiya arrived at the supermarket in just a short amount of time using Cain’s car. They shopped around for the ingredient and for other supplies as well. As Cain watched Kiya seriously choose each item and food carefully, he couldn’t help but smile. He just found something new with Kiya. He suddenly leaned down to kiss her cheek and Kiya looked at him in confusion, he shrugged.

“What a sweet couple you are.” A voice suddenly sounded behind them. An old woman was looking at them, smiling sweetly. Cain proudly wrapped his arm around Kiya,

“You have good eyes lady.” Cain said in a proud voice and the old woman laughed. Kiya’s eyes squinted at Cain and shoved him to the side.

“Ma’am I’m sorry, we must have been blocking your way.” Kiya said and pulled Cain away. Cain still turned around to wave at the old woman who was laughing.

When they returned home, Cain had smelled the scent of Hanna who was in her room. He didn’t detect anything weird since Hanna also likes to sleep after school. He just proceeded to the kitchen to help Kiya. However after a while, he was kicked out of the kitchen when he started messing up. It seems Cain did not inherit his father’s talent as a houseman. Kiya finished cooking faster when Cain was out of the way and before long, she had served the dishes on the dining table.

“Is Hanna not home yet?” Kiya asked when she went to get Cain who was in the living room, watching random shows.

“She’s in her room.”

“I’ll get her. You go and set the table.”

“Yes ma’am.” Cain saluted childishly and went to the dining room as Kiya went upstairs.

When Kiya was in front of Hanna’s room, she felt weird all of a sudden. She stood there for a while but shook her head in the end and knocked on the door.

“Hanna, come out and eat. I cooked dinner.”

“I’m not hungry. I want to sleep.” Hanna’s muffled reply came out but Kiya’s sharp hearing detected the slight shake in Hanna’s voice.

“Hanna? What’s wrong?”

“Nothing! I just want to sleep.” Kiya wanted to persuade Hanna to come out. She could clearly hear that she had been crying.

“Okay then. Come out and eat when you’re hungry.”

Kiya’s bothered look stayed on her face until she arrived at the dining room. She quietly sat down next to Cain, still looking very worried and deep in thought. Kiya is wondering what to do since she can’t really do much because she is still basically an outsider and not that close with Hanna.

“What’s wrong?” Cain asked.

“I don’t know. I think Hanna’s been crying, her voice sounded a bit hoarse and shaky. She didn’t want to come out so I can’t be sure.”

“I’ll go and talk to her.” Cain made a motion to stand up but Kiya held his hand.

“For now let’s eat dinner. Let’s leave her alone for a while. I think she’d be embarrassed if you go and see her on that state.”

Cain listened to Kiya and they ate dinner with a few words, both worried for Hanna. Crying for Hanna is a big issue for both of them because she is always cheerful all the time. The only time Hanna is quiet is when she’s in front of her gadgets. However, no matter what Cain does to persuade Hanna out of her room, she wouldn’t come out. Cain and Kiya could only give up and proceed to their own rooms to sleep. Suddenly, Kiya was awoken when she felt the need to drink water and got up to go to the kitchen. She didn’t bother turning on the lights and walked around the kitchen, still half sleep. When she made her way back, Kiya saw Hanna on the bedroom hallway. She seems to have just gotten out of her bedroom and was now sneaking around. However, that was not what startled Kiya to fully wake up, it was the bruise and little scratches on Hanna’s face, her lips were also a bit swollen.

“Hanna! What happened?” Kiya almost shouted but Hanna rushed to her and covered her mouth dragging Kiya back to her bedroom.

“Please. My brother must not know. He’d go berserk.” Hanna pleaded when they were in her room.

“As he should be! Look at you! Who did this to you?” Kiya couldn’t help herself and started fussing over Hanna’s face. However, something else caught her attention on the floor, ripped clothes and the way it was ripped suggested something. Kiya turned to Hanna in panic. “You-“

“He didn’t have a chance, he's human. I managed to escape before anything else could happen.” Hanna explained quickly but her tears started coming out. Kiya hugged her quickly.

“Hanna.” Kiya sighed and comforted Hanna the whole night.

In the end, Kiya couldn’t keep it from Cain. Hanna was forced to admit who it was and Cain was out of the door the next second. Kiya could only do nothing but catch up with him at school while Hanna still contemplated if she should go. When Kiya arrived at school, there was already a large crowd by the lawn and as Kiya suspected, Cain with another guy was in the center of the crowd, fighting. She managed to squeeze through partly because they know that she is Cain’s girlfriend. Cain was barely scratched but the other party was already in a pitiful state and he is human too, if Cain had wanted, the boy would be dead by now. Kiya did not intend to stop the fight, not yet. Sadistically, she still wanted to watch the hateful boy who is still arrogantly trying to fight Cain.

“Oh no. What if her brother finds out that we tricked Hanna to go there?” Kiya heard the whisper beside her. She saw two girls, holding each other in fright while watching the fight.

“Ssssh. It’s not our fault Hanna was easily tricked. She brought it upon herself.”

Cain kicked the boy called Hayden to the ground and before he could step forward to grab him again, they heard screams. Cain and the boy stopped and turned to the sound. There they saw Kiya grabbing two girls by their hair and without any visible effort she smacked their faces down to the ground. Cain was stunned as he watched his poker faced mate stood up and crossed her arm to look down on the two girls who were just recovering from what happened.

“You bitch!” The two girls simultaneously said as they wiped the soil from their faces. However, two consequent sound of slap rang out afterwards but Kiya did not stop with just one slap, she delivered the second ones while the girls were still stunned.

“Why? I’m just trying to return the both of you to the ground because the two of you are dirt.” Kiya reached out to grab their chins. “How could you do that to a fellow woman?”

“It was just a prank! We swear that we didn’t know he would do that to her.” One of the girls tried to explain but Kiya’s aura turned colder. She flung them to the ground once again.

“Your simple prank could have caused Hanna’s life. Even if she lived, do you think she would be able to live with herself? You two are also women, you should understand better than anyone else.” Everyone who heard Kiya could almost feel the coldness of her voice.

Somehow Cain’s anger subsided and instead felt nervous. He took a mental note not to make Kiya too angry in their arguments in the future because he feels that this isn’t Kiya’s real face when she is angry, it was controlled. In the end, Cain, Kiya and the three culprits were sent to the principal’s office. Kiya and Cain still got suspended for two days for using violence while the three were sent to the disciplinary committee for investigation and evaluation. As for Cain’s case in beating up Hayden, they decided to dismiss it as per request of the boy’s parent.
