It’s been days since the vampires last attacked the camp at this moment the campsite is marching back to the packhouse. Where we can eat freshly cooked meat out of an oven, and sleep in clean shirts and warm blankets. I am still pretty weak from the attack and using my powers. Lately, I have had to stay by alphas Seth's side scenes the day of the attack. I kind of like the feeling of being close to him. He is nice, sweet, strong, handsome, and hella sexy. I smile to myself as the thought comes across my mind.  

“ hey” I look up at Seth

“ We are almost to the packhouse, while everyone else is unloading and unpacking in their houses, you and I are going into my packhouse. I believe my family can help you control your powers.” He said 

We continued to walk for another hour before I could see houses, the closer we got the bigger the buildings grew. By the time we hit the edge of the line where the woods and the clearing meet it was just Seth and me. People walked in different directions from either side of me, my sister walking with Seth and me until we made it to the largest house of them all. As we walk through the front door we are greeted with the scent of cinnamon, vanilla, and flowers. We walked upstairs until we stopped in a room. He opened the door and there was a small twin-sized bed. The room was decorated with pink walls and princess posters. I smile as I see my sister's face light up. I help my sister unpack quickly before tucking her into bed. Seth has me follow him to another room. This one had a king-size bed and the theme of what looked like Gryffindor's house from Harry Potter.

“ So where will I be sleeping?” I said nervously 

“ You will be sleeping in here with me. You can’t control your powers and I want to watch over you so that way I can help you control your powers in tight situations such as a vampire attack” he said

“ thank you for caring but I don’t need a damn babysitter,” I said fuming instantly 

“ that's not what I was saying, I am saying that you need to be watched over so you don’t hurt someone,” he said flatly

“ Look, let's go ask my partner what they think may have a solution to how to control your power,” he said. I followed him out of the room and down the stairs, when I got to the bottom of the stairs I saw a man and a woman laughing about something.

“ Hey mom and dad,” Seth said getting the attention of the two in front of him

“ Hi Hunny we missed you,” the woman said standing up to give him a big hug only to notice I was standing next to him.

“Oh and who is this,” she said his father gave me a curious look

“ This is Jackson and we need your help,” Seth said his parents become serious 

“ what is it,” his dad asked

“ Jackson he’s the last mage and we were wondering if you know if there was any way to control his powers. I am keeping an eye on him until then but I don’t know anyone or anything that could help.” He said His parents calmed down and relaxed smiled up at me 

“ We have a way but it’s dangerous you could get killed,” his dad said

“ Dad I think I can handle it,” Seth said 

“ I know but no one has come out of this journey not unless you have some relationship with a mage such as a parent, siblings, friends, and or even……or even soulmates.” Seth's dad said there was hesitation in his voice and worry before any of them continue. Seth tells me to go back upstairs.

I walk upstairs and shut the door behind me. I wonder what that was all about? Maybe I will ask him later but right now I am very tired, I need to sleep. After all, we have been walking all day and I am still very weak. I lay on the bed and closed my eyes slowly. My eyes started to flutter shut and I fell to sleep. When I woke up Seth was sitting on the side of the bed removing what looked like clothes from the bags on the floor with a sour expression on his face. I watch as he throws his clothes in a pile on the floor. I observed him with half-closed eyes, we wore a torn royal blue shirt that stuck to his skin, his skin a light tan color, and his hair was jet black but wet.

“ are you going to get or keep staring at me,” He said

“ How did you know I was awake,” I said voice creaking, he smiled 

“ you snore when you sleep,” he said

“I DO NOT” I squeaked, he laughed and turned towards me.

 “ I…Ummm….I Ummm…….. Look I know you don’t know me very well so I am not quite sure how you feel about this but from what my parents say that if we are going to get your powers under control we need to find the Enchanted Sword please don’t ask questions we leave at dawn” He said
