CHAPTER 3: REMARKS

-Chapter 3: Remarks-

"THANK you so much, Miss Trams and Mr. Miller." The people kept on expressing their gratitude for the help that the two people gave.

Crine was very happy to help the people, see their smile and give them happiness.

They are now heading to the airport to go back to their country, with smile on their faces, being glad to help.

Crine brings a small luggage, and she wears her usual formal attire along with the loose jacket. She's always cold, she says.

They're both sitting at the airport's area, waiting for their flight.

"Thank you for accompanying me, Crine." Neo said with his charming smile.

"It's really nothing, I would be always happy to accompany you in your charity events!" Crine smiled back. "But of course, I would be busy to accompany you for the next month for there's a new project in my company."

"Ah, yes. Being the CEO of a company is really making you busy." He smiled. "How does it feel? Always take care of yourself, got it?"

She immediately became confused and slightly tilted her head to think.

"But, Neo? Aren't you a CEO too?" She asked with a confused mind. She have always known that he's a CEO of his own company too.

"Well, no. I just own a huge business and I do not refer to it as a company, really." He chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. "I'm not that smart and responsible to run a company though."

"What kind of business is that anyways?" She asked. "It's about cosmetics and body products, isn't it?"

He nodded with a smile, earning a sigh from the young woman. "Okay, okay. I lied. HAHAHA I am also a CEO of a company but I do not work that much no more. All I do is to receive reports from my workers and send some project information to them."

"So, that's the reason why you still look fresh everyday." Crine said and sighed. "I hope that I can make my work in my company easier someday."

"Well, my company is only about beauty products though and yours is about like... five?" He asked.

"Six. I have bookstores, groceries, hospitals, banks and such." She said with a shrug.

"And that makes you the youngest billionaire. You stress yourself out, is it worth of billions?" He asked and Crine looked at him with a pair of confused eyes.

"I... think so."

"You can have a break with some, you know? You're just 21 and it'll be very hard." Neo said and patted her back.

She sighed and shrugged the thought away.

She's already doing stuffs that are leading her to a huge success, why would she stop?

"Well, I think I'm fine this way, Neo. Thanks!" She smiled and removed his hand behind her. "Besides, I have a stress reliever everyday."

It is to go to Steivan's workplace and see him as she do her work.

Setting his behavior towards her aside, she's really happy to see Steivan. See how a person acts when they are in love? Weird, isn't it?

Crine's ringtone just broke the awkward silence, giving her a huge jump in her chest. She immediately looked at her phone and excused herself from the young man.

She walked near the glass wall, looking at the city and answering the phone.

"Hello, mother." She said, almost whispering as she smile.

"Hello, Crine. How are you now?" Her mother asked from the other line.

"I am alright, mother. Just waiting for my flight. What happened?"

"Nothing happened, Crine. I just called to ask about you right now. Your University called me yesterday though." Her mother mentioned about her University and she almost gasped.

"What happened, mother? Why did they call you?" She asked with a sense of panic inside her chest. Did she do something that's gonna break the rules again?

Speaking of again... yes, Crine is always breaking school rules and at the same time, being remarked as the kindest student.

She's always sleeping in her classes, eating in classes, speaking to her classmates during unnecessary times, doing pranks on other students, borrowing too much books to people and forgetting to return them, doing some stuffs that's not related to the topics and more.

There's no day that her name won't be mentioned by her professor though.

"I was informed that you've got the highest marks for the semester again." Her mother just happily said and that made her smile widely.

Because her hard works are really worth it.

"Don't worry, mother. The life that you've always dreamed of? I will make them come true until the end." She almost whispered as her tears fell on her cheeks. She immediately wiped them away. "And as promised, I will always make you happy."

Crine's mother is very strict and it's like catching lightning to see her smile before.

She's also an authoritative mother who loves to recommend stuffs for her children. She's always proud of Crine though, but she rarely shows it.

That's why, Crine made her way to be worth of being proud of... without even knowing how her mother sees her worth.

Her brother is just 17 years old right now too, and she offered to pay for his education in order for her parents to have less problems with the payments. Also, her brother loves studying that's why paying for his tuition is worth it.

"Don't stress yourself that much, Crine. You're too young and we're still here to help." Her mother said and she smiled.

"Don't worry, mother. I will take care of myself."

AFTER the long hours of going back, Crine just went to the expected cafe immediately. She headed there like as if she's not tired or anything.

"Hello, Steivan!" She waved enthusiastically and ran towards the counter. "I'm back!"

"Wow, it's been three days! How have you been, Miss Trams?" Mrs. Alex asked her in instant, pouring some water on a glass.

Well, Mrs. Alex and Miss Den really prefers to call her formally. Who knows why, maybe to tease her? Crine used to tell them to just call her by her nickname though.

Although, as a huge call sign, she called them formally too.

"I'm doing alright, Mrs. Alex. I missed you all." Crine smiled so widely.

"Who cares." Steivan muttered and Miss Den just hit him. "Ouch!"

"Don't be rude!"

"What do you want me to say? Welcome back?" He asked with his annoyed reaction and Miss Den nodded angrily. "No way."

He is indeed an ignorant person.
