Yes! I forgot it's Sunday and I hate it. Maybe that's why I woke up late than usual. I was alone in the house; my family is in the province while I'm in the city because of my job. 

I am a detective and I was assigned to move in the city for a special mission. After this, I'll go back to the province and be with my family again. I really missed all of them but I can't go back there unless the assigned mission was accomplished. 

Uggghhh! I need more sleep. This is just the day I can rest the whole day without stress and frustration. It's almost a week when I rented this apartment. It's almost a week that I'm living in the city. 

I threw myself on my bed and feel the softness and fluffiness. I covered my whole body with my blanket and tried to sleep again but after two hours of rolling on it, I still can't sleep. 

Then, I thought of the man in my dream. Is he a detective too? I hope he is. I still see him in my mind. I still visualize his face and figure out his looks. Why is he staying on my mind? I can't keep thinking of him. 

Is he real or just in my dream? I was about to get up into my bed when my phone rings... 

Unregistered number is calling... I slide it to the green telephone button and answered the phone call thinking that maybe it was an important call.

(on the phone)

"Hey! Is this Ms. Yassemine Niezel Chun?" the man asked me politely. 

"Yes speaking. Who's this?" I asked him

"Your partner just arrived here in the office. Aren't you coming to the office today? Are you sick? You're always coming to the office 30 minutes earlier than your working time huh. This is your superior. Please come to the office now so I can introduce to you your partner in the assigned mission to the both of you," our superior said and end up his call.

I get up on my bed and go downstairs, while stepping down I saw something on the next step and I picked it up. It was Calendar 2020. Arrggghhh! I go back to the calendar posted near my room to check on it. 

"What a poor eyesight Yanie! You're such a stupid lady! It's not Sunday today, it's Friday. The one you saw earlier was Calendar 2019," I pinched my cheeks and slap my face many times just to make sure it's real. And yes, it is! "What the heck!" I angrily said to myself. 

I took a bath again and dress up again. I really hate what happened to me. Now, I know why I can't sleep that is because I have work today. 

I wear my helmet and protective gears before driving my service going to work. I'm riding on my motorcycle always when I'm going to the office.

When I reached the office, I knocked on the door of our Superior's office. Someone opened the door, his face looks familiar to me. He didn't greet me, he didn't say any words, he just walks toward the direction of our superior and he sat down. 

"Here comes the late comer, the unprofessional detective of the province," he insulted me. 

I'm still looking at him, his face is familiar, I don't know where and when we have met. But I know him, I know him, I told myself. 

"What are you waiting for? You take your seat, why are you just standing there," he shouted at me. 

I covered my face and realized that the man who insulted me, the man who shouted at me is the man in my dreams. I sat down facing him and I rolled my eyes and looked at him while my right eyebrow is higher than the left. 

His traits in my dreams are opposite of him in person. That was the moment I realized that dreams really come true but not as detailed as your dream when it happens in reality. Just like what happened to my dream.

I dreamed of him as gentleman and he has a good attitude but look at him in person he's really rude and he has an annoying personality. 

We both ask our superior who will be our partner in the mission assigned to us. 

We are six (6) detectives in the room for three mission. Every mission there must be two (2) detectives designated to solve cases. 

Mr. King Torres and Mr. Phinees Gonzales please move forward together. Mr. Eric Whales and Mr. Quiano Darwin move forward together. And lastly, Ms. Yassemine Niezel Chun and Mr. Joshua Enrico Meyer III please move forward. Yanie and Josh looked at each other with uncomfortable feeling.

"Mr. Torres and Mr. Gonzales, Mr. Whales and Mr. Darwin, I have told earlier where you'll be assigned you may now leave this office and prepare your things for your mission," ordered by our superior. 

Our superior stared at me then he turned his head to Mr. Meyer. "I know the both of you didn't have a good start that's why I decided put you as partners. Yanie was recommended by their province as the best detective of their province and you Josh, I know how you work, I should say that you're the best detective in this city," Superior Galvez told them. He looked at us pointing his two fingers in his eyes to ours, a hand gesture means "my eyes is on you". 

"Why are you looking at me that way huh?" Josh shouted at me.

"What's wrong with you? Do you think I like you to be my partner in this mission? You're rude dude! I would rather choose to have a dog partner than you," I uttered in a high tone. 

"Hey! You both stopped fighting! From now on you have to be nice on each other because I will send you in a special mission," Superior Galvez shouted at us. 

"What will happened to the both of you if you are fighting for a nonsense business? Fix yourself or else I'll give this special mission to other detectives who treated their partner very well. Now, leave my office and talk to each other. Don't you dare come back!" Superior Galvez said in an angry tone. "You are not children anymore," he whispered. "Goooo! Leave my office. Now!" 

We both looked at each other silently with concern having the same thinking. "If we didn't accept each other as partners our superior might give the special mission to the other detectives." We nodded at each other and took a hand shake showing our superior that we're good though we're not. 

We both call each other and apologizes to one another.

"Sorry Superior Detective Galvez, we must be professional enough for the special mission, Detective Meyer here reporting for duty Sir!" Josh stood straight.

"Detective Chun here Sir accepting the special mission together with Detective Meyer, reporting for duty Sir!" I said confidently. 

"I'm glad you already realized how important to accept one another. Now, let's discuss about your special mission. This is the hardest mission of all the mission, I need the both of you so, we can come up with a good output. I know your strength, your minds and skills are good but still you have to undergo for some trainings, or do you think you had enough?" Superior Galvez asked them. 

"I am willing to be trained Sir, Yanie answered. But if you think my ability and skills are enough then I'll accept if you decide to send us soon in the mission you are talking about," she added.

"You know me well than your other detectives, I'll give the decision on your hands Sir," Josh uttered. 

"I guess, you must be sent in the mission as soon as possible. I saw your courage, I saw how brave you are, I have a great feeling that you can do it without trainings. But let me inform you that your mission is special, it is the hardest as I mentioned earlier," Galvez said in a tone that he's believing at them.

"Now, let me discuss to you your mission and what it is all about", the superior said.
