Stephanus’ POV

I was in the middle of walking when I saw people in a commotion and the others seemed terrified.

So, I immediately approached one of the people there. They will not recognize me because I am wearing a mask and my clothes are the same as theirs.

By the way, my name is Stephanus Duncan, and I am the prince of the kingdom of Stervallera.

I like to tour the area covered by our kingdom I want to see the condition of our people.

The other part of the place is in good condition and liveable but from what I see in others, it seems that they are suffering for no apparent reasons.

Because I want to solve all the problems and need our entire constituency when I sit on the throne.

"Excuse me? What's going on and everyone is upset and scared?” I asked a man who seemed scared.

“The woman who was hurt and intended to be raped and sold by groups of men is an Enchantress and has currently lost control in her power.” the man's response to my question.

I was surprised to hear that I knew that only the kingdom of Anazariya had Enchantresses and Sorcerers, how could there be an Enchantress here? Is it possible that someone got lost in our area?

After a while, there was a bolt of sudden lightning and a strong wind not far from our place. And soon it rained in that part only.

So I immediately went to the location of the woman they were talking about. I ran fast and did not care about the removal of my mask.

When I arrived at the place where the commotion was taking place, I saw five men trying to approach the woman who now seemed to be fainting.

I noticed that as they were trying to approach the woman, the fire suddenly spread and surrounding the woman as if protecting her.

“Do not approach her, you will only be hurt, you have nothing against her!” I shouted at the men who now seem surprised at my presence.

Suddenly they ran away as if they were even more scared so the woman left us now without self-control. Based on her dress, she is part of the royal family.

Maybe I'm right that she got lost, but where did she come from?

“P-pl-please anyone help me.”

Suddenly the rain and the fire around the woman got stronger. I could hardly breathe because of the weight of the wind. And the ground was destroyed.

The woman remained seated and held her head as her tears continued to fall.

Suddenly there was a pain in my heart as I looked at the woman in front of me now who was suffering. I slowly approached the woman, regardless of what was happening.

“I am here to help you so calm down first.” I calmed down the woman. I could not get close to her because of the fire surrounding her.

Suddenly the woman raised her head and stared at me. It wiped away her tears, but instead of stop crying, she cried even more.

“Shh, I'm already here, don't be afraid.”

“But I do not know how to stop it” its response to what I said while continuing to cry.

I suddenly thought that magic users lose control when their power is too strong. Especially if they are not very good at it. While those like us are just normal and do not have any magic, but are physically strong.

The only way I can think of is to make her calm down and that way she can stop the elements that are now out of her control.

“But how?” I muttered to myself.

I already know what to do, but I'm not sure about it and she might get angry too, but this is the only way I can think of. I have no choice, I will just try.

I don't know if this man can be trusted either or maybe he is just like the previous men as long as I know I am confused.

“I am here to help you so calm down first.” his voice was pleasant to hear.

“Shh, I'm already here, don't be afraid.” Maybe I can trust him because he did not leave me.

What is this feeling? I feel like something will explode inside me and it hurts so much.

That's why I just grabbed my chest. I just closed my eyes and was ready to accept what would happen.

But suddenly someone pulled me and I did not expect what happened next.

And finally she opened her eyes and there I saw in her eyes the shock of what she saw. It was all too late because I had already made my plan. I am now hugging her while my hand was holding her chin and most of all her lips are now pressed against my lips. Yes, I kissed her.

Her eyes widened and struggled at first, but as time went on I felt her little by little calming down. Later on, She just closed her eyes and hugged me back.

I cannot understand myself. What a strange feeling I have. It was as if I did not want to end this moment.

*COUGH*

I opened my eyes when I heard someone cough. She immediately pushed me. And there I saw an unknown man who is now staring at us.

“It's good that you're fine Milady.” The unknown man said politely while smiling.

I suddenly looked at the woman I kissed when she suddenly blushed and bowed. I touched my lip when I remembered what I did. And I just smiled. The woman suddenly spoke.

“When did you come, Lucas? And what did you see?” She asked.

“A while ago Milady and I saw everything Milady.”

She almost sank to the ground in her extreme shame. I just listen to their conversation. I just stood calmly on their side. When what the unknown man called the woman suddenly entered my mind. Milady?

“That means she is a princess.” I muttered to myself.

“ Lucas?” She called him.

“ Yes, Milady?”

“How did you know I was here? Aren't you in a meeting with mother?”

The unknown man smiled in response.

I suddenly frowned for reasons I didn't know.

Lucas’ POV

What a strange feeling I have for something bad to happen. I immediately went out to find Milady.

I looked for her all over the palace and asked more questions if they had seen Milady.

But she was not in the whole palace and most of all they did not even notice her. I went to the back of the palace and there I saw an open gate. And since I had a hunch that Milady might come out there. I decided to follow that.

By the way, my name is Lucas Carter, Milady's butler. I have been serving the family of Milady Anastasia's family for a long time. I also took care of Milady until she grew up.

So Milady just disappeared in front of me for a while I was worried. I love Milady so much that I am willing to die for her.

I paused for a moment as I still felt Milady's presence and closed my eyes tightly. I closed my eyes firmly and felt around everything that was happening around.

The birds chirping, the smell of fragrant flowers, and the strong breeze of the air. I felt that I had already accumulated energy. So, I opened my eyes. And with the opening of my eyes things that have already happened. I will see it again.

I saw what happened to Milady as she came up from the gate so I followed her every move. And I also saw its exit was a street where illegal activities were going on just like the sale of women. I even saw Milady, looking at the suffering people and I saw the pity on her face.

Until I saw the harassment done to Milady so I punched the wall in front of me because I was so angry. And there I saw Milady and the prince of the kingdom of Stervallera kissing.

I just smiled when I saw Milady was fine and nothing bad happened to her and that was because of the prince because he saved Milady.

*COUGH*

They seem to have stopped what they were doing when they heard me. The prince even frowned at being disturbed by them. Milady lost control as she tried to summon the power of the element.

But in the presence of the prince, Milady was able to control the power of the element. In the future, the two will be good leaders and hopefully, when that day comes I will still be by Milady's side.

“Lucas, what else are you doing there?” milady shouted at me.

I took Milady's hand and then I knelt and kissed Milady's hand. She looked surprised at what I did so I spoke.

“Forgive me, Milady and I did not save you the time you needed me more I promised it would never happen again.” I will never let this happen again.

I looked at the prince who was now walking ahead of us. If it weren't for you, something bad might have happened to Milady.

“Thank You.” I muttered to myself.
