The Runaway Princess

“L-let me go, I will never do what you want, I would rather die.” I desperately said.

He tightened his grip on my shoulder, which made the pain worse.

“You are mine Anastasia you will not be taken away by others just always remember you are mine.” His eyes glazed with anger as he said this.

I could do nothing but cry.

He was Stephanus Duncan he used to be a kind, loving, and thoughtful prince. But one day he suddenly changed the former kind, loving and the thoughtful prince became violent in everything.

He was a Prince of the Stervallera kingdom, and he was also my lover. I loved him because he was true to himself, but soon he gradually changed and it seems that my beloved Stephanus disappeared completely.

My name is Anastasia Aislynn the princess of the kingdom of Anazariya. Our world is far from being ordinary we have the ability that an ordinary person will never have. This world is ruled by two kingdoms, and it is Stervallera and Anazariya. People live here peacefully. My father and mother treated people equally and whoever they were.

SIX YEARS AGO

“Anastasia, are you ready?” Mother Queen asked.

By the way, my name is Anastasia Aislynn 16 years old the princess of the Anazariya Kingdom. And today is the day we go to the kingdom of Stervallera.

Because the two kingdoms will have an agreement to make each kingdom closer and stronger. And it is also for the sake of the people in each kingdom.

We finally left and made our way to the Stervallera Kingdom. When we reached the kingdom of Stervallera, we were immediately greeted by the maid, guards and the others in charge of it.

“Welcome to the kingdom of Stervallera.” their simultaneous greeting to us.

And because they had important things to talk about, they left me first and said I would tour myself around the palace first to spend time.

They left me with two maids here in the palace to accompany me, but I refused because it was more fun to go around alone.

I continued my tour of the palace and enjoyed everything and the scenario I could see around me. But I went to the back of the palace and there was a small gate that led out to nowhere and out of curiosity, I entered. When I entered the small gate and I did not know where I was going.

But even so, I continued. As time went on, the formerly crowded and flowery surroundings just disappeared. And were replaced by dry and withered flowers. I reached the end of the one I entered earlier, so I entered another gate and when I entered there I did not expect what I saw.

I am already outside the palace, and I am sure that the gate I entered earlier is the gate that leads to the outside of the palace. Where you can see the world of people under every kingdom. I continued walking and there I came to a street where there were very few people.

This place is very scary and I looked at my elegant clothes that could distract others. So, I went to one side and started adjusting my attire.

I tore the bottom of the dress and matched its length to my knee and then I took off my jewelry and hid it in the pocket of my dress. I reduced the fabrics I was wearing and then proceeded.

In the middle of the walk, I saw quite a few people, but they were not in good condition, some of them did not seem to be eating some of them looked at me as if they were asking for help. I feel sorry for them, but I can do nothing right now.

Eventually, I felt someone following me earlier. So I walked faster and because I do not know the right path or turns in this area. I am in a disadvantaged situation.

I was so nervous about what was happening that I almost cried. I stopped walking when I saw the dead-end of the passage that almost gave my body too much nervousness. I can do nothing but fight to protect myself.

I slowly faced what I was going through earlier and there I saw a man looking at me. He slowly approached me so I slowly backed away. He suddenly smiled which I wondered and to my surprise, when he reached out his hand.

“What’s going on?” I said to myself.

“Don't be afraid of me, I just noticed that you seem to have lost, so I followed you, but you seem to have mistaken in thinking that I’m a bad guy.” Said the stranger.

“Don't worry, I won't hurt you.”

So I slowly approached the man and took his hand. He looks like a good man so for now, I will trust him first. We started walking back to where I passed before.

He did not speak again after the conversation earlier, he was just quiet. A few more minutes passed, and he still did not speak, so I started the conversation.

“Do you know where the road back to the palace is? Because I had fun walking earlier and I did not realize that I was lost and that is what happened so I came here.”

But he remained silent and there I noticed that the wind seemed to change, and we seemed to go to a deeper part of this place.

So the nervousness, I was feeling before came back. I stopped and backed away because I felt that if I followed this man I would be damned.

“Tell me the truth. You are an awful person. Am I correct?” I was shaking as I said this.

The man who had previously been silent is now slowly facing me. A crazy smile is now plastered on the man's face. He slowly approached me while I was enveloped in fear.

“Do not come near me!” I shouted at the man.

“Don't worry, we will make you happy.” the man said.

“We? Meaning they are many he is not just alone” I muttered to myself.

The place that no one else had before. Gradually, the men who seemed to be hiding came out. The men are now laughing as if they have found a victim and that is me.

“It looks like we will be rich with her.” said the man behind me.

Suddenly I felt as if there was a breath in my neck and there I saw the man who spoke smelling my hair.

So I pushed the man. I was about to try to run away when the man I pushed suddenly pulled me.

“Don't even try to run because no one will help you here!” said the man angrily.

The man tightened his grip on me, so I was hurt more. The tears I had been holding back had fallen.

“Please release me, let me go.” I desperately beg them.

Men, on the other hand, seem to be even happier with my current reactions.

Instead of feeling sorry for me, the man grabbed me even more and pushed me down on the floor.

“Please have mercy on me.” I said while crying.

They do not listen to me and I also lose hope. What am I against five men? But maybe I can try, right? I will not allow myself to die in this situation alone. I closed my eyes slowly and took a deep breath.

As I say those words I feel like I can't breathe properly as if something is accumulating inside me that wants to get out.

“An Enchantress you all stay away from her!” I heard a man shout.

Suddenly I felt like I was almost gasping for breath and feeling very hot. I slowly stood up even though I was dizzy and I could not breathe properly.

But because of the extreme dizziness, I fell on the ground, but I was surprised by what happened the ground I touched suddenly cracked so the men retreated even more.

My tears flowed almost incessantly and suddenly it rained very hard it was as if the rain was also crying because of my crying.

“Forgive me my mother because I used the power you forbade.” I muttered to myself.

I saw men who looked like they were planning to approach me and because of my fear, I was suddenly surrounded by fire.

I do not know how to stop the rain and the fire that is spreading now. And the wind that is now draining my strength. The ground that is now broken. I do not know how to control it.

“Please someone save me!” My vision becomes completely blurred. I will probably die here I hope this is not the end of everything.
