Mrs. Lucas slapped her when she arrived at the hospital. Mrs. Lucas could not prevent her tears from falling after witnessing her son was in a poor state. She heard the surprising news from Liza that she was one who witnessed the unpleasant incident. That Liza was the witness of the accident.

Luna was astounded by what happened.

"How dare you hurt my son! You know how much he loves you and treats you right, yet you only hurt him? Look at him, you wicked woman! Are you glad now that he is in a coma? Answer us!" Mrs. Lucas screamed at her while crying, wiping her tears.

Mrs. Lucas cannot imagine that her son was in a comatose condition because of Luna. She even learned from Liza that Shawn caught Luna clinging to the other man, putting Shawn and Luna into a quarrel, and right away, Luna accidentally pushed Shawn at the street and accidentally hit by a car.

"I didn't do it Mrs. Lucas. I cannot do that, and I will never do that to him because I loved him with all my heart. I cannot hurt him...". Luna struggled to justify her side, but she was prevented by Mrs. Lucas.

"Then who did it to him? You do not have any evidence or witness to prove your innocence". Later, Mr. Lucas, who was wordlessly observing them, finally joined the dialogue.

"Will you believe me if I said that it was Liza? She tried to kill me, but Shawn rescued me. It is true so please, believe me. Shawn can confirm my innocence once he wakes up. Please trust me!" then, Luna bites into her lips only to prevent herself from crying, a way of blocking her tears from falling. She remained on pursuing and justifying her innocence to them, but they kept on trusting Liza instead of her.

"Shut up! I will not let you come near to my son! He doesn't deserve someone like you, she does not ought to have such a poor woman on his life", Mrs. Lucas said.

"Mrs. Lucas, please-" Luna was about to defend the condition again when Mr. Lucas interrupted her.

"Luna please… does not make it tough for us. Did you not know, from the very start, I am opposed to the idea of Shawn getting a relationship with you? What can he obtain from you? Nothing! You are just a poor woman who relies on everything from my son. You are poor and do not have any family. Are you really confident that you can support my son in the future?". Mr. Lucas finally said his unspoken thoughts towards her.

From the beginning, she thought Shawn's parents liked her because they treated her very well, but it was all just a show. Mr. Lucas's words were like a sharp knife that wounded her heart gently. They act out as they adore her for the sake of Shawn, for they love their son, gladly recognizing Shawn's decision and supporting him no matter what happens. However, the reality is they cannot accept her who is lower than them, that she has no money or assets, that she is poor and that she only depends on her knowledge for her education. In other words, they cannot agree for Luna to be part of their family.

"Mr. Lucas, I-if you did not like me, why did you not tell me? D-did you think we are just playing?" Luna said while stammering. "You do not have to fake your behavior to satisfy your son because I am not after your family's fortune. I just only want your son" tears started to fall on her cheeks. She knelt and could not imagine that she would learn the truth.

Mr. Lucas did not reply. He clenched his mouth, kept it quiet, and prevented himself to explain.

Mrs. Lucas was about to say something but the nurse who was taking care of their son disturbed them and stated that Shawn recovered his consciousness. They were all hurried to go to see Shawn.

"S-Shawn? Shawn!" she rose, wiped down her tears, and felt very delighted after noticing Shawn chatting with his parents.

He is finally wide-awake. She cannot stop smiling.

Finally, an important person will clarify the whole thing about what happened, however before she talks to Shawn about the accident, Shawn looked at her like she was someone he never knew. The way he looks at her hurts her feelings. An astonishing reply came to the mouth of his true love.

"E-excuse me? Do I know you? Can somebody tell me who is she" both his parents and Luna were stunned by his answer?

"What did you mean Shawn? Can't you remember me?" tears started to fall from Luna's eyes.

"Are you one of my friends? S-sorry I cannot remember you…” Shawn inquired as he glanced at his parents' faces.

In the meantime, Luna's tears fell through to her eyes, for she sensed Shawn is alright. An astonishing answer which got her heart shattered into pieces.

"What do you mean? Why don't you remember me?" Luna mumbles. She did not know what to react while gently wiping out her tears, making Shawn puzzled.

Has the car accident affected him to have amnesia? But how come? Luna thought. Why is this happening? It was supposed to be me, who should be in his state and not Shawn. Why did I allow this to happen? Why... Luna sluggishly kneels while sniffles come out of her sad self.

Before, she was fighting with Liza since she is the reason for Shawn’s condition, the mastermind of all these troubles. Later, Luna was blamed for all of Liza's problems and got a lot of cruel words from Shawn's parents, whom she thought recognized her as part of their family. They even intended her to abandon their son. They would like her to leave out of their sights. Now her lover cannot remember anything, including the fondness between them, even the future which they arranged once they settle, as well as her existence.

Why did I have to endure all the things that I have not done? She thought. Then later, she stayed up and wiped up her tears and told Shawn everything, however, as soon as she began to say the crash, Shawn's mother talked to him.

"Shawn, listen to me. You got into an accident because of her '' Mrs. Lucas started with resentment while directing her finger to Luna.
