Chapter Two : Realizations of Love

YESTERDAY, was the worst encounter with you know, already who it was—Kyle Austin. Aside from that, I never got a chance to talk with him. My hopes of me getting his attention make me feel so small. To tell you honestly, I never got to fall asleep thinking about how I will approach him again after what just happened. As well as, Remembering him playing his guitar is a major turn on for me. This guy rocks! And just by looking at his freaking blue eyes. Who wouldn't be mesmerized right?

So from this day forward, I decided that I shall act on what I have moved on from him. Even if we're not together. The reason for this is first I wanted to know how to be confident first and foremost. Second is that I want to make him jealous of these other guys. Not just because I wanted to make him realize that I was the girl who was meant for him. And lastly, I want to know him more. If that happens. I'm sure of myself that the steps given to me were a success. I grabbed my phone when it rings, Shocked has registered on my face when I saw whose name it was calling. And to my surprise. It's him. A lot of questions just popped out of my mind. Oh my gosh! Is this for real! I can't believe that He was calling me tonight. But the question is, How did he get my number. And whom did he get my information? My hands automatically grabbed a pillow and screamed. I heard someone just knock on my door. I even jumped out of bed. But you know it's not a good thing to do such things late at night. People were already sleeping. So I came up with an idea of me recording my voice screaming. So I will be the only one who can hear it. Pretty good idea huh.

"Hey, what's going on?" That one is my brother Gelo. I tell you guys. I can't describe this kid. He will always knock on my door to observe and then when our parents arrive. He will report it to them.

"What's with these pictures?" He holds these trying to get my full attention. He pulled one of Kyle's pictures on my wall and ran into his room. I hated this guy. He knows what will make me feel so annoyed. I tried so hard to follow him but I just couldn't. I always gasped for air. But having a height of five-six has its perks.

What I've done was I reached his hands and the picture suddenly fell on the floor so I got a chance to pick it up. And so I did. "You're delusional. I can't stand you anymore." He murmurs clear enough for me to understand. The next thing I've done was to imitate him. And then he just laughs at how silly I look. That's the greatest thing about being an elder sister. You got to laugh at a very single action that you guys were doing.

"Sister, I'm sorry" He pleads while nodding his heads down.

"But you know what I'm really hungry right now. Look, I haven't eaten anything. since Mom is always busy at the office." He complains as if I have something to offer.

" Let me just go to the fridge and look at what's in there," I said to him in a hurry to open what's in our fridge and surprisingly. There are still some chocolate chip cookies. I took a grab of it and got some fresh milk too.

"Thank you so much for this. I appreciated it." He said, smiling back at me as he faces the door going back into his bed. He then took a glance at me

" You can now scream whenever you want. Just make sure that there's always something on our fridge." He added before heading. I can still hear him giggle at his bed.

"This is so delicious. I love cookies!" He commended just as I was about to get up.

—————

Today is a Monday. Some people will always be excited to go to school. But thinking about me with this kind of look going to the university, what can I do? I have no choice but to study everything. I am not complaining ok. It's always a tiring day especially when you don't have enough sleep. I looked at myself in the mirror. Geez. I look like zombies in horror films. With this eyebags saying hello to the world.

" You can do it!" I always tell these things to myself. Even if I really can't.

"I cannot do it," I said with a frown on my face. My Mom suddenly calls me upstairs for me to go to eat for breakfast. I won't have to skip that. So I immediately went downstairs, Took a seat right beside Gelo and Mom. "Oh my dear, What happen to you,

"You alright?" My Mom interrupts

"Of course!" I told them. Even if it's not that convincing.

"You sure about that?" My younger brother Gelo asked again, this time he looked at me with a weird look. as if questioning me if I'm saying the truth. I gave him a warning Don't-Tell-Anything-Or-Else look then it made his mouth shut.

"Of course! I'm really fine. Just don't mind me, my brother." I say again without hesitation and with lots of conviction. When the clock strikes at six o'clock. I stand up from my stool and grab my bag. I kissy Mom's cheek and bid goodbye.

" Remember what I always tell you, Okay?" She shouted at me as I left our home. She was about to say something but I already memorized every line.

"Have fun. Just Enjoy and meet new friends" I said with a tired look at my face. She just smiles back at me then Gelo starts to murmur something that makes me stop talking. Believe me. I don't know how to act when I hear him say it.

" Did I just hear it right?" He asked directly, looking at our direction. "Have Fun. Just Enjoy and meet new friends" He repeats.

"You just repeated what I said," I shouted while growling.

"Okay, but just make sure that you heard it right. There's a thin line between making friends and making up with a boyfriend" My body is already shaking. Oh my goodness! For Pete's sake! How come this boy has an adult mind.

" Alright! nothing to be worried about. I clearly understand.

"Bye!" I run as fast as I can because time flies fast. I shall not be late today. I then came to realize everything we've done has its consequence. Take it or leave it.
