I gulped and immediately took my phone to take a picture of the clothes and then I immediately fixed the mat and the golf set. I immediately went back to the passenger's seat and re-adjusted the focus of the dashcam.

I clenched my fist as I see Zack from the rear view mirror walking towards the car. So it was you, it was you all along. The reason why my world collapsed, it was you Zack who has been calling me Just mine.

"No one's in your unit though" Zack said as he hop in to his car and hand me my phone "Are you sure that someone was there?" Zack asked.

"You saw no one? But I'm sure I smelled the scent of Black Rose earlier, it could be that he's just hiding or maybe he left my unit before he gets caught" I said and sighed.

"Or maybe I'm just traumatized because of what happened to me" I said and looked at my phone.

"That's not your phone though Jaz, you bought a new phone?" Zack asked.

"Yup, I woke up without having anything with me. If they are not in my car, that psychopath may have it right now including my phone" I said and looked at him.

"'That psychopath'? What do you mean?" Zack asked.

"Yeah the perverted psychopath who threatened my life and Ethan's, the stupid psycho who thinks that he's a god when he murdured Jude even though he's not when in fact he's just one pathetic and weak perverted psycho who's just seeking for attention" I said as I look directly into his eyes while badmouthing him indirectly.

I can see how he grind his teeth for a second but then he smiled.

"You're right, that perpetrator needs to be caught" Zack said and smiled, what a hypocrite fucker.

I smiled back and then I leaned my back as Zack started to drive to get to the golf course "I'm even scared to go back at my unit right now knowing that that perverted psychopath may be there waiting to ambush me" I said as I look at Zack.

"Should I sleep at your place right now?" I asked.

Zack looked at me and then he smiled "That's a first? You never slept at my place before" Zack said.

I took a deep sigh "Because I thought I'm safe at my place but since I have you--- you will let me stay at your place tonight right?" I asked.

Zack chuckled and then he smirked to the point that he can't even hide what he thinks and feels inside "Sure, you're more than welcome Jaz" He said.

I gazed at him, I never thought that Zack, one of the few people that I trust the most is the reason why I'm losing everything. I smiled and got my phone, pretended to read something.

"Oops seems like Luxxe won't be at the hospital tonight, I guess I'll just have to spend the night in the hospital to take good care of mom and Ethan" I said as I give him the sweetest smile.

Flashback

(The day of Jazmine Hale's appearance, before the live show)

"Actually---" Luxxe said as she caress Ethan's hair.

"One of the main reason why I really insisted to look after your mom and brother and why I hired guards for them is because----" Luxxe said and took a deep breath, she's even hesitating to speak and tell what she wants to say.

"Tell me" I said.

"Its because of Zack" Luxxe said and looked at me "I'm glad that you're here now, finally I won't be fighting alone for Ethan's life. I was actually very scared that one day assassins may come and kill not only me but them as well" Luxxe said and looked at Ethan.

"What do you mean its because of Zack? Why would Zack harm you and why are you afraid that Zack may kill Ethan when they are cousins?" I asked.

"Zack is not who you think he is Jaz, I never really wanted to tell you or tell anyone this but remember when I told you and the girls that I almost became a victim of gang rape?" She asked.

I nodded "Of course I remember that. Who would forget such a tragic story especially that it happened to one of my friends?" I said.

"The truth is that--- the guy who did that to me is just around me laughing with me and he's sometimes eating with me and what's worse is that he acts like he never did me wrong, he acts like as if nothing happened and acts like a perfect gentleman in front of everyone" She said and then Luxxe clenched her fists.

I am curious as to who that guy may be and I'm confused why she never confronted her perpetrator and why is she acting all weak in front of her perpetrator? I want to bombard Luxxe so many questions and curse her for being so weak but I can't because I know it won't be helpful.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

Luxxe shook her head "No, of course I'm not. No woman will ever be comfortable around her own perpetrator but I had to pretend nothing happened because that guy I hate the most is my friend and beloved's cousin" She said, I gasped and covered my mouth using my palms because of shock.

"Zack is Ethan's cousin and your cousin, you are my friend and I just love Ethan so much that I can't even say anything because I know that your relationship with Zack will be tainted knowing that both of you are so close to him" Luxxe said.

I clenched my fists and then I held her hands "Luxxe, is our relationship with Zack more important than your own dignity? How can you--- how can you stay quiet when he should have been punished for what he did" I said.

Instead of answering, Luxxe stared at me "You will punish him for me right? For me and for Ethan" Luxxe said.

"For Ethan? How is Ethan involved here?" I asked.

Luxxe took a deep sigh "I was really going to keep quiet and forget the past but what he did to Ethan is unacceptable, Jaz I'm positive that it was Zack who assaulted your brother" Luxxe said as she gaze at me.

"What?" I asked as I look at her in a serious manner.

"The media says that the cause of his head injury was aggravated assault in which he was beaten and mobbed by a group of thugs, that was the reason of Ethan's injury according to the media but the truth is that, Ethan was actually beaten multiple times in the head using a hard equipment presumably a baseball bat, a baton or it could also be a golf club" Luxxe said as she locks her gaze at my eyes.

"You know that aside from martial arts, Zack is addicted to golf right?" Luxxe said.

I sighed and then I held Luxxe's hands "Luxxe, I know that its hard for you to face Zack everytime especially that he's your perpetrator but I'm not saying this just because I'm his cousin but Luxxe, Zack is not the only one who plays golf in this city and in this country" I said.

Luxxe clenched her fist "Before Ethan went to Zack's place, he called me" Luxxe said and got her phone, she showed me a recorded phone conversation. She placed her phone on top of the table and then she pressed the play button.

'Hi baby boy, finally you called, you've been too busy with your sister's case these days. You know that you shouldn't over work yourself since your sister won't like it if you end up in the hospital right? Anyways, are you okay? Why did you call by the way?' Luxxe's voice.

'Record this phone conversation right now Luxxe, I have something to tell you' Ethan's voice.

'Uhm-- I'm actually recording all phone conversations that we had, you know for a souveneir, but is there something wrong?' Luxxe's voice.

Before I can hear Ethan's voice, I heard his sigh "I'm currently on my way to Zack's place, I'm suspecting him for the disappearance of Jazmine but I'm not yet sure that's why I'm going there to see if my suspiscion is right" Ethan said and sighed.

"If ever something bad happened to me, you know that Zack is the last person I will meet today" Ethan said.

"But Ethan---" Luxxe was not able to say what she's about to say since Ethan ended the call already.

"That time I tried to call him again but he turned off his phone, I was busy for my singing reality show that's why I didn't follow him not knowing that it may be my last conversation with him" Luxxe said and gulped.

"The next day, the news and other social media platforms are bombarded with news about the assault happened to Ethan. He was found unconscious in a dark alley known where thugs and deliquents gather" Luxxe said.

I clenched my fist, you better not be the suspect I'm looking for Zack because if you are, I'll kill you.

"But wait" I said when I remembered something "Then why did the media insisted that he was assaulted by thugs when there is this evidence pointing Zack as the suspect?" I asked.

Luxxe bit her lower lip "The recording may be admissible but not enough to prove that Zack assaulted Ethan" Luxxe said.

"How many people know about this recording's existence?' I asked.

"It's just the two of us, why?" Luxxe said.

"What about Ethan's phone?" I asked.

"I don't know, there was no phone found when they found Ethan--- its missing" Luxxe said.

I nodded "You did great, don't tell anyone about the recording and never confront Zack about this. Thanks for doing this Luxxe and thanks for looking out for Ethan, I'll take it from here" I said.

"I-I'll help you, I'll give you the help you need, for Ethan" Luxxe said.

I chuckled "I'm relieved to know that there's such a woman who cares so much for Ethan but thanks--- this is my fight, you may get in trouble if you help me any further" I said.

"But this is my fight too, Ethan trusted me and I'm the very person who he called that day which means that he trust me" Luxxe said.

I gazed at Luxxe and then I smiled "And just to let you know" Luxxe said and stepped forward.

"Your company, KC actors is involved in hiding Ethan's real diagnosis and KC actors is also involved in hiding the truth about what really happened to Ethan" Luxxe said.

"KC actors?" I asked.

"Yes, Jaz I don't know why KC actors is being involved here but I think that's the first thing we need to know since they are also involving themselves in Jude's murder case and in your disappearance" Luxxe answered.

I clenched my fist and then I smiled bitterly "The president's obsession is getting more and more uncontrollable" I murmured.

"So what are you planning to do first?" Luxxe asked.

"I should destroy Cindy and Ivan first and then I'll investigate on Zack, there should at least be evidences or leads I can get from Zack" I said.

"What if Zack threw all the evidences? Or he may have burned it already?" Luxxe asked.

I smiled "Sometimes psychopaths don't throw the belongings of their victims or the weapons they used to assault instead they keep it as a trophy for themselves since they see themselves as almighty" I said.

"Sorry the president has decided to cancel all ongoing activities that you two have, the public bombarded the office with petitions to cancel all of your activities and as much as possible edit you two in your ongoing shows and movies" Director Corpuz said as he sat down the couch facing both me and Ivan.

"The president doesn't even want to see the both of you to the point that he made me relay his message, he also said that you two should take a break and we will soon eventually find your way back to stardom again when this scandal lies low" He added.

Ivan brushed his hair and then he looked at the director "That concert is very important to me, we can't just cancel that because of the scandal--"

"Are you even listening to yourself?  Do you want your first major concert to be empty? Or do you want the people to throw eggs at you while you sing? You two have done a major damage to the company and instead of begging and getting on your knees to beg for forgiveness you two are whining like as if this isn't your fault?" The director said as he raise his voice.

He chuckled and then  he stood up "You two are lucky that the company is not terminating your contract and the least thing you both can do is to kneel and beg infront of me!" He screamed, the moment he said that Ivan immediately kneeled infront of him while both of his hands are on the floor.

"This is my fault, we're sorry. Please  I-I can't take a break right now my career is like my whole life, the public wouldn't accept us again if we come back in the future" Ivan said as he kneel infront of the company director.

(2 DAYS LATER)

(Lapiz Lazuli Cafe)

"Waahh, how many days has it been since we all had a get together with the girls?" I asked as I look around the cafe and then I shifted my gaze to Cindy who is currently glaring at me right now.

I chuckled and leaned my back "What's with the cold treatment, come on Cindy we're friends--- bestfriends. Are you not happy to see me? I mean I was gone for three weeks" I said.

Cindy gave me a very sweet smile and then she gently caress her belly "Nah I just called you here to tell you that I'm pregnant with Ivan's child, I'm just happy how blessed I am that's why I asked you to meet me. I figured that you should atleast know since its Ivan's child" Cindy said while flashing a smile.

I gritted my teeths as I look at her and then I smiled "How many months?" I asked.

"Actually its 2 months now, I never thought we'll be blessed with a baby this soon" Cindy said and smiled sweetly.

I chuckled "So you already slept with him even when we were still together? How fascinating yet nasty" I said and laughed "But what's next?" I asked.

"What?" Cindy asked.

I smiled "The people only cares about scandals and image Cindy, what if they learned that that child you're having is the fruit of your betrayal. Almost majority of households and relationships these days are ruined because of third parties and cheating. The public can sympathize with me because they are also victims of cheating. Do you want your kid to be labelled the fruit of betaryal as he or she grows up?" I asked.

Cindy chuckled "Stop overreacting Jaz, you're not that important for the people to remember for the rest of their lives. This scandal will just remain for a couple of weeks and months and after that it will be forgotten" Cindy said and then she smirked.

I smiled and looked at her "Wow, have you forgotten how nasty and evil I can be? You know how far I can go Cindy, I can just make up stories and make myself pitiable just to get sympathy. I can stage my own accident or my own suicide and tell the public that I'm too miserable because I love Ivan that much and with that, the burning rage of the public will be awaken for the second time" I said.

"With that you can never go back to stardom again and people will judge you, your kid and your forbidden family" I said as I show her a bitter smile.

"You shouldn't have messed with me Cindy, especially if you saw how far I can go" I said, Cindy clenched her fist and gritted her teeth.

"Why do you have to come back?" Cindy said.

I smiled bitterly as I cross my legs "Why not? You enjoyed something you shouldn't have and ammorals like you? Needs to be taught a lesson especially that you messed up with me when you shouldn't have" I said.

"Ivan is mine and he was mine in the first place!" Cindy said as she raise her voice.

I wrinkled my nose and distanced myself from her "Your poise Cindy, don't be like that. You're a celebrity remember? Or let's say a celebrity who is about to hit rock bottom?" I said.

"You already ruined my career just because of that lousy dramatic acting and pathetic strategy that you did. You can take away the stardom from me but you can't steal Ivan from me--- he's mine!" Cindy said as she glare at me.

"I'll kill you and I swear I'll drag this until one of us dies if you steal Ivan from me" Cindy said.

I laughed "What an obssessive moron" I said as I gaze at her "Have him all you want, a jerk like him is not worth it Cindy. One day he will also betray you" I said.

"Shut up, not because he betrayed you means he'll do that to me. He loved and loves me Jaz, unlike you" Cindy said.

I laughed "Oh yeah, enjoy then" I said and stood up "I don't really have enough time with your useless bragging. I need to go, you see I'm a little busy since a lot of projects and shows who needs to be paused and cancelled just because of its actors and actresses needs me right now" I said and got my bag.

"Thanks to the two of you, I have more projects right now" I said and walked but before I could even leave, Cindy called my name, I looked back only to see her holding her phone showing me her phone's screen.

In her phone's screen is a recorded conversation between me and her earlier.

"Would you still have the projects you have right now if the poublic hears this?" Cindy said and saved the recorded audio and played it infront of me.

I chuckled "I didn't know you are this stupid Cindy" I said and walked towards her, I immediately grabbed the phone and threw it on the floor, I stomped on to her phone while she screams.

"Are you crazy! What the fuck are you doing!" Cindy shouted as I stomp on to her phone, I immediately got the sd card and put it in my bag, I looked at her with my emotionless eyes and then I sighed.

"Give me my sd card back" She said as she grit her teeth and then she stepped forward to meet my eyes, I did the same and then I raised my eye brows "I can't believe you never learn from your stupidity Cindy, You and Ivan are suffering because of your stupidity and now you're doing it again" I said and chuckled.

"There's a lot of people taking pictures of us, are you not afraid of your image? I don't really care right now since my image is already ruined" Cindy said.

I smirked "Of course they would understand especially that's its you I'm harrassing. Since they can't hear what were talking about, they'll just think that maybe I'm doing this because I just feel so wronged from the cheating and betrayal that I had to suffer because of you and Ivan" I said and walked away.

I smirked, thanks to her being a stupid imbecile.

I drove away from that cafe and went straight to my house, I need to take a shower since I will be visiting mom and Ethan in the hospital, as I enter my pad, I sensed a very familiar scent--- the scent of Black Rose.

I reached for my karambit from my bag to protect my self from the possible assaulter but as I walk to the living room, I took out a deep sigh after seeing my uninvited guest.

"Who says you may enter my unit?" I asked and put my karambit back to my bag.

He shrugged "You were too busy these days so I figured I should atleast visit you since I know you miss me" He said, I chuckled because of his oveflowing confidence.

"Was it not enough that I visited you twice? In your so called farm and in your office last week and three days ago?" I asked and walked towards Alex, I caressed the back of his neck down to his chest to tease him "Now I'm starting to think that you're just obsessed with me that's why you keep on following me" I said and gazed at him.

He smirked and then he lowered his gaze to level mine, he pulled me towards his body by pushing my torso using his hands.

"I really am obsessed with you" He responded to tease me back, we stared at each other for a couple of seconds and then we both laughed as we distance ourselves from each other.

"But seriously, what is the heir and vice president of Magnus group doing here? Is the young master not busy?" I asked and sat down the couch

Alex gazed at me and then he took a deep sigh "I came here to help you defeat Zack Cullens" He said.

After saying that, It became quiet for awhile and I don't know what to say "What do you mean?" I asked.

Alex sighed and then he kneeled infront of me as he held the back of my palms "Jaz---- Zack is a very influential man, you will need my help" He said.

I sighed and removed my hands from his grip "I can handle him Alex, besides its me who he wants" I said.

"Even if you find out that Zack is the man behind KC actors?" Alex said.

I raised my eyebrows and looked at Alex "What?" I asked.

"I can't watch you fight a giant alone Jaz, I put a tail on Zack Cullens and found out that he always visits KC actors. I thought it was weird and made a background check on the executives of KC actors and it turned out that your president is a puppet and the real president of your agency is Zack Cullens" Alex said.

"H-how is that even possible? My family and my uncle is not even interested in managing an entertainment company? C Pharmaceuticals is the main field of the Cullen's family so how did Zack became an entertainment company's executive?" I asked.

Alex sighed "Don't you know? That Thomas Cullens was the one who managed KC actors right after your father died" Alex said.

I frowned because of confusion "W-what---- are you saying?" I asked.

"So you don't know that your father is the founder of KC actors? He was the one who built KC actors but when he died--- it was your uncle Thomas Cullens who took over not your mom" Alex said.

"Alex" I said and stood up, I looked at him and then I face palmed "Alex what the hell are you talking about?" I asked.

"I told you, I made a background check and spied on Zack Cullens and found out about KC actors, that's also the reaosn why KC actors is too obsessed with you" Alex said.

I took a deep breath "Ok let's say that what you're saying is true, why didn't mom told us anything about this?" I asked.

"Maybe there's something you don't know about your family Jaz" Alex said.

"If you want to see if what I'm telling you is true, you can see it for yourself. Drag the shadows behind KC actors by cutting one of its legs" Alex said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Alex smirked "The Cullen's family doesn't see you and your family as a member of their family but as a prey. Its time for you to get what's rightfully yours" Alex said.
