SHAWN MYERS POV:

It felt amazing to have her next to me. To know Danny was just her brother and not some boyfriend.

"Okay, well I have to leave to pick up Candi and Connor" She says, standing up.

"Will Danny be there?" I ask when our friends have left.

"Yeah, he should be" She smiled making my heart flutter for the hundredth time today.

"Do you mind if I come with? I'll follow in my car" I ask, not particularly to see Danny, just to spend more time with her.

"Yeah of course. But you need to go to class" She says and I pout.

"I've got drama" I lie, although I do have drama at some point.

"No Shawn, you have maths. I'm in your class" She chuckled.

"Please" I pout, "I've missed you and it is only a maths lesson. I'd rather catch up with you, I haven't really spoke to you in years" I say.

WHAT AN IDIOT.

Are you serious?

I might as well just tell her I love her while I'm at it.

I'm so stupid.

"Okay" She says with a tight smile. "Oh and Shawn" She says, getting my attention. "I've really missed you too"

WOW!

I feel like I'm on cloud nine. She missed me?

I smile widely as I follow her car.

'Do not mess this up'

I faintly see Candi and Connor rush to get into her car and I followed her back to hers.

I get out after we had arrived and Candi smiled at me.

"SHAWN!" She shouts, almost pouncing on me. I haven't saw her since she was 5.

Now, she had black hair that reached just below her shoulders and bright blue eyes. She was cute.

"Hey Candi" I smile and she smiled back.

"Hey dude" Connor says, giving me a man hug.

Connor had changed too. He was 15 now, so 12 when I last saw him. He had short black hair and greeny-blue eyes. He was taller than Cali now.

"Hey man" I smile.

I've always loved Cali's family. They were so welcoming and loving to anyone.

I walked in the house to see Danny and Cali pulling away.

"OH MY GOD! IS THAT THE SHAWN MYERS?!" He shouts, looking at me with wide eyes.

"The one and only" I laugh and he took me in a man hug.

"So how long have you liked my sister?" He whispers and pulled back. My jaw drops.

"Wh- How did you know?" I ask and he chuckled.

"Well, when we had our conversation, Leah told me you got a little jealous" He whispered to me, chuckling quietly.

"Yeah, well I didn't want her liking another boy" I defend and he laughs.

"How long?" He asked.

"3 years" I say quietly, my eyes on Cali who is playing with Candi.

"You act like you love her" He says quietly.

"Because I do" I say and his eyes widen before he smiles.

"Shawn, I want you to meet Alec, my boyfriend" he says and I'm about to shake his hand when he hugs me. Okay?

"Alec is amazing but he likes to hug everyone" Danny says and I nod.

My phone buzzed and I read the message before laughing.

Caspar: Okay so you and Cali have disappeared. Was thinking you might be somewhere making out until I searched the whole school and couldn't find you. I'm guessing you left to start this 'project'

My phone buzzed again and I laughed at the message again.

Caspar: Thanks for leaving me in this awful lesson by myself :(

Ps, I have a feeling this 'project' is just a huge lie to cover both your asses. Bet you're making out or just finished when you read this XD

"He's crazy" Danny said with a chuckle.

"I know. He checked the whole school for us" I say with a laugh.

I quickly started to type a text.

Caspar: Would say I'm sorry but I refuse to, payback for making out with that redhead and leaving me in science ;))

Ps, If you must know our project is about Shakespeare so I'm going to go out after, you in?

"You want to get started on this project?" Cali asked, standing up to walk over to me.

"Sure" I smile just as my phone buzzed.

Caspar: Club or party? Get Cali to come with, I wanna partyyyyyy :P

"Fancy coming to a party or something tonight?" I asked Cali.

"Who's? Rachael's?" She asked distractedly.

"yes" I smile before texting Caspar.

Caspar: Tell the boys Rachael is throwing a party. Tell Cam to bring Leah. I'll bring Cali and you and Joe will probably pick up girls... You players ;)

"Yeah, of course" Cali says with a smile.

"Awesome, we will do some of the project and I'll pick you up for it. What time does it start?" I ask and she nods.

"It starts at 8" She says and I nod.

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 8 then?" I ask and she bit her lip.

She looks damn hot.

"We'll be late though" She pouts as we walk into her room.

I look at her pouted lips and wander what it would be like to kiss her again.

We were each others first kiss at the age of 13. We were an on-off thing from then on. We weren't officially dating but we would always make out until we started to drift apart.

All of a sudden her scent is every where and I'm dizzy again.

Not the bad type of dizzy but the good type.

"No one arrives on time" I say ans she smiled, making my heart flutter.

"Okay, now lets get started" She says and I nod.

"Finally done!" I say and she smiled.

Over the 3 hours of homework, I've gotten used to her scent and I love it.

I was a bit sad that the project was over because this was the whole reason we started to talk again but I feel as if this time we will be friends and possibly more.

"Where is your parents?" I ask curiously and she shrugged.

"Dad left mom and mom abandoned us"she shrugged and before I could stop myself I hugged her closely to me.

"I'm sorry I asked" I say, feeling bad.

"Don't worry. I'm over it" she smiled and I felt my insides melt.

"I'll be outside in 2 hours" I say, giving her one last hug before I got in my car and drove home.

I got a message from Caspar.

Caspar: Cali coming?

To Caspar: Yes, I'm picking her up at 8. Need a lift?

Caspar: Yup, pick me up at 7:50

To Caspar: Okay, see you later.

Caspar: Thanks buddy

I decide to shower before getting ready.

I look at myself in the mirror. My eyes were literally sparkling and I knew it was because of my love; Cali.
