“ Where’s Stacy? “ I asked Jona when we get back to our seat,

“ Still dancing, I think? Don’t worry, she’s already an adult, she knows what she’s doing” she said while sipping her drink.

I just let out a sigh and then smiled,

STACY

“ Hmm “ I moaned then slowly open my eyes,

I frowned when I notice that I’m inside a room and it is definitely not mine. Huh? Where am I? I sat down and hold my head because of pain, gosh I must drank a lot.

“ You’re awake, i tried waking you up earlier but you didn’t so I just brought you here, so that you’ll be able to rest “ a cold familiar voice caught my attention and I looked at him wide eyed and pointed my finger towards his direction,

“ Mister Gray? “ I stated in shock,

“ Ahuh “ he said while nodding, I look at him from head to toe and I can’t help but to bit my lower lip because of unexplainable attraction i am having towards him. I want to throw myself to him and hug him for freaking sake!

“ S-sorry, I’ll leave this instant “ I said as I stand up quickly making me dizzy all of a sudden,

“ Aish, you can stay here “ he stated then walk towards me.

I just bought this condo unit last night, my place is really far from here and I don’t know where she lives so we ended up here. I kissed her one more time and decided to take a rest from staring at her all night.

I was awakened as I feel her breathing change, she’s awake. I opened my eyes and stare at her while she’s slowly opening her eye lids and I was welcomed by her dark orbs that looks like it can see every single thing about me.

“ You ...” she murmured weakly still staring intently at me,

“ You’re a v-vampire “ she continued while her eyes are accusing me , I slowly nodded and move quickly to her top, I put some of her hair strands away from her face as I admire her beauty once more,

“ Yes I am “ I told her and leaned closer to claim her lips when she suddenly turn her face away making me puzzled,

“ Why?” I asked her as I hold her chin to face me again, her eyes hold many emotions and I can feel her confusion because of our bond,

She pushed me away from her lightly and I was too shock to even refuse, I let her stand up while I was left sitting on the bed still staring at her,

“ Hey? What’s wrong? “ I asked her worriedly as I follow her to the comfort room,

She didn’t answer me and just closed the door in front of me making me dumbfounded. I bit my lower lip as I feel so confuse of how she’s acting right now,

“ H-hey? Baby open the door “ I stated as I knock , feeling so devastated and hurt because of her.

“ What’s wrong? T-talk to me please? “ my voice cracked because of the unexplainable pain that’s piercing through my heart at the moment,

“ I- I want to go back home “ finally she answered, I can feel her just on the other side of the door.

“ Okay, I’ll send you home, just- just eat with me “ I said and after few seconds she slowly opened the door. I immediately pulled her into a tight hug the moment she opened the door, she stayed standing straightly and didn’t move an inch to embrace me back, another pain pierced through me.

I feel bad, real bad as I look at him looking like a lost puppy, his sparkling eyes earlier was now full of pain and confusion, It is my fault and I don’t know why i’m hurting too while looking at him.

He brought me in a very fancy restaurant, there are so many vampires and it is suffocating me. I look at the vampire I’m with at the moment and found his silver eyes staring at me full of sadness,

“ Your eyes are gray but you’re a vampire, why is that? “ I suddenly asked him and my heart beat rapidly as a cute and sincere smile crept through his handsome face.

“ My eyes can turn red too, but it is usually on his gray color not until i feel a strong intense emotion “ he explained looking happier than earlier,

“ Do you want to see it? “ he then excitedly asked me,

I was taken a back because of that, this man seems good and I feel bad because I’m treating him coldly just because he’s a vampire.

“ Y-yes “ I answered weakly as I try to lift up his mood. I don’t want to see him unhappy, it’s breaking my heart .

I watch him as he close his eyes and after a while he opened it revealing a deep set of dark red orbs . My heart skipped a beat as I stare at him, I don’t understand myself, I always end up feeling scared if I ever catch a glimpse of red eyes but his is different, it calms every single part of my body and it’s attracting me .

He blinked suddenly and his eyes are now back on it’s usual color,

“ Sorry, you can’t stare at my eyes too long if it’s in that state, you’ll get hypnotized “ he explained as he chuckle because of my reaction, I can feel my cheeks burning because of the weird sensation I felt because of his laughter.

“ I was kinda scared because of how you reacted earlier, i thought you’ll leave me “ he said as he cut my steak into small pieces and move it closer to me.

I bit my lower lip because of guilt, I can feel that he won’t harm me but I can’t help but to rise my guard up knowing that he’s a vampire.

“ I am leaving you, I mean what happened to us is not that big deal, we should let it that way. I’m happy to meet you but we should part ways as soon as possible “ I stated as i chew my food, I automatically look at him in the eye when he suddenly turned silent,

I gasped silently when I saw him with his dark red orbs, he blink one time and his eyes turned back to normal again.

“ Are you okay? “ I ask him worriedly as i recall what he said earlier. He stated that his eyes only turn red when his emotions are too intense.

“ Y-you don’t want to see me again? “ he stated and I frowned when I notice that his voice cracked and his eyes are continuously changing its colors.

Without even thinking I reach out his face and caress his left cheek, trying to calm him down.

“ I-it’s not that, Ah, I’m a human, I know that you know that already, we aren’t suppose to be together-” he cut me off ,

“ There’s no such rule and if ever there is , I’ll do anything to revoke it “ he stated sternly looking so serious , far from the sweet guy I was with earlier.

“ We don’t even know each others name-”

“ I’m Gray Warren, 1,456 years old vampire “ he cut me off once again and reach out his hand,

“ G-gray- “

“ No, I won’t let you go . “ he said with finality making my heart flutter with happiness,

“ Vampires have mates, you should wait for yours- “ I tried to explain it to him when he cut me off again with a peck on the lips.

“ My wait officially ended last night baby “ he stated looking at me intently with his dark red eyes, dark marks are starting to get visible on his neck up to his left cheek.

“ You’re my mate and I didn’t wait for a thousand of years just to let you go “
