7: SHAGARI SISTERS.

Aashif drove away with a grin of triumph marring his face and he felt like one part of that challenge has been accepted. He just can't wait to start talking to her like normal people and not him being a stalker, he doesn't like bringing that stalking side of his, he gets possessive when he shouldn't. He doesn't know who she is and she also don't know him, personally. So he should take things as slowly as possible

He bought the plaza opposite her building just because he wants to build a relationship between them. He doesn't even know what to do with the place but he knew he can't just let the place be a plaza, it is not his side of business so maybe this is his chance to build a hotel and give it to Irfan.

Arriving at his office, he opened one of the many files in front of him and checked the power point of the company in that year and he was happy with what he is seeing so he closed it and let out a satisfying sigh, he so is going to build a hotel and that will gain him two things at the same time. Like the saying, hitting two birds with a stone which he didn't agree with at first.

He would have argued with the person that says hitting two birds with the same stone is possible then relented and thought that even that person doesn't agree with the crap he created and just did it for moment like this, just like his.

He gets to talk to Aisha Ilham as her neighbour and build the relationship he is hellbent on building and he will also get a hotel. Maybe even Allah is planning that for him because he got a call from a close friend asking if he would buy the place and since he's already asked for Aisha Ilham's address, he had to get the spot and so he agreed.

"Hello, brother." He was brought back to reality by his brother who barged into the office like he owns the place. How he wished he didn't give them the go ahead to come to his a office whenever they want, he would have had his privacy.

"To what do I owe this grand visit?" Aashif sarcastically asked, clearing his table from any trace of work to talk to his brother. It's been weeks since they last bonded up and now seems like the time because he has no work.

"Oh nothing much, just here to give you a heads up. Mom is trying to hook you up with more girls, subhan'Allah, you should've seen their photos." Irfan cringed at the end of his sentence as if recalling a horrible memory from the past.

"I know right." Aashif groaned, letting his mind drill down the memories of his mother hooking him up with girls he wouldn't look at twice.

There was this time when he hit twenty eight, the next day, his mother's friends came to his house just to help 'celebrate' his late birthday. None of those friends walked in without a daughter and their faces all has makeup, not little one he admired, that one that looks like they iced cake. The one where you can't even see what colour is their skin and they want to deceive him into marrying a fair woman who will turn black on their nuptial night, no thanks.

One of them wore fitted gown then and was asked to go to the backyard where he is playing soccer alone. He had to hold back the roaring laughter trying to breakout from his lips, deep down from his chest because she looks like his index finger when he tries holding it straight. And his fingers are very lean and straight so imagine just how straight she is.

She told him she just turned twenty and is studying to become a lecturer which he found surprising and also funny, she was so small and little for that and from the conversation they had, he knew she doesn't get brains so he just got along and played her game. The puzzle wasn't solved and now he has turned thirty one, marriage doesn't really appeal him, not in the least bit. He has gone through that phase and when everything is settled, he gets to know that marriage is not his cup of tea anymore.

But then again, with Aisha Ilham, he felt the need to settle down. Not really too much into love but he likes accepting challenges and he wants to unravel everything about her before bearing his heart for her to get in. He has never been in love and don't know how it feels so even if he falls, he wouldn't know.

"There are three in her phone and she will send it to you later or now, I don't know." As soon as Irfan locked his mouth, Aashif's latest iPhone release a small sound which brought out a chuckle from both the siblings already knowing who it was.

True to Irfan's words, there are photos of three women both wearing such outfit that makes them look three times younger than they are. Even though he saw Aisha Ilham in loose clothes, he can't help but think how she will look in the outfit those girls are wearing. She had look hot without trying like they are desperately trying to.

He has changed his taste in women. Before, he would go for any woman with manners and beautiful smile but now, he wants plump women but also a little tall like Aisha Ilham. He don't like them short or skinny even if their smiles will light up the entire world, no one's will beat Aisha Ilham's and he doesn't even know where those thoughts are coming from but damn sure it is the right thing to do and think about.

"Can you see that one's face, she looks like she finished tubes of foundation and concealer on her face, don't she feel hot?" Irfan commented, peeking from behind his brother to check out the photos of the girls their mother sent with a caption 'Young girls for the perfect guy huh?'

"How do you know a lot about makeup and shit?" Aashif threw an incredulous look at Irfan who rounded the table and went back to the sit he has been sitting before vacating.

"I'm getting married soon, don't you expect me to know all these things? I'm almost done with the boxes so there is nothing Mom doesn't force me to know about them." He shrugged and stood up ready to leave but was stopped by Aashif who called his name.

"Can you tell mom that I have so much work and wasn't able to see her message? I don't want her to be hot on my tail as soon as I stepped foot into the house." He beseeched knowing fully well how his mother will pester him about those girls the minutes he stepped into their compound, she is like mother chicken.

"Will try." Irfan laughed and left.

...

"Yes, I want it as early as possible tomorrow because the ceremony starts at nine in the morning so I don't know what time is more convenient for you?" The girl Aisha Ilham learnt to know as Kulthoom asked after they exchanged pleasantries and decided to cut to the chase because her whole siblings are at home waiting for her and she missed them a lot so she wants to round up everything as soon as possible so they could plan tomorrow, their graduation day.

"Yes, and mine also starts around ten so I think hers can be done first before mine." Kulthoom's younger sister, Qismah suggested perching closer to her role model.

"I don't know if you will like this but my assistant knows how to do makeup too and I think she should do it for you guys. She is not here now, called in sick but I know she will be here tomorrow so what do you think about that?" From the way their faces turned up side down, Aisha Ilham knew they don't like the idea so she sighed but waited.

"Please, we want you to do it for us. I've been waiting for this opportunity since forever and this is my first time with makeup and all those spa stuff so please." Qismah gave her a puppy dog eyes and her thoughts went straight to Eshal whose puppy dog emotions looks exactly like Qismah's.

"Alright, alright, I will do that for you but please come here as early as eight hmm?" She stood up and gave them both a hug which they returned before asking for an autograph.

"I never knew I had so much fans." She laughed at them when she felt flashes of two cameras on her face as she signs the autograph and she knew girls nowadays will do those streaks her sisters' like doing on Snapchat and it only made her smile wider and waved at the camera after she finished signing.

"You won't believe what this video will cause later in my phone. Everyone will want to know me by the end of tomorrow." Qismah laughed with her sister before they took few pictures together with Aisha Ilham.

"Well, thank you girls. I enjoyed my time with you and hope you will be punctual." She narrowed her eyes at their sheepish expressions and knew they might not come early but well, she had to talk.

Aisha Ilham left her office after the girls agreed to come early and when she saw the car they drove, she let her mouth hang open. They must be filthy rich to get on that monster and travel around Lagos. It is a Lamborghini Murciélago and if she is thinking correctly, it is said that only three people have it in Lagos but they look so polite and didn't act like spoilt brats, well, that was new.

"Hey, sister! We missed you so fucking damn much!" She heard yelled from all around the two storey building as her sisters ran to where she is and enveloped her in their arms making her look like a midget in the middle of them all.

Ni'ima, her immediate younger sister was there to squash her separately after they all moved back to let her breath. Ni'ima is the most sensitive one amongst them before Aisha Ilham got married but after she did, she stopped being one of the stupid sisters and became quite distant to people but not to her sisters, they won't let her live in peace if she doesn't talk to them so that makes Ni'ima the sensitive and quite one.

She is taller than Aisha Ilham but not much and has slimmer face than Ilham's. Though Aisha Ilham is a little dark, Ni'ima has this bronze skin that everyone envied. The way the melanin drip from her face and how her smile would light up everyone's in the house, it is what takes her to more levels up.

Ni'ima is twenty four years old single lady who is just graduating from UniLag the next day and studied English Literature because she loves writing and is also a Poet. She helps Aisha Ilham edit all her motivational words before it is posted and when she was at home, she would keep writing books and has so many to publish now that she is done. She will just settle down before she edits them and publish, Aisha Ilham always shows her how proud she is to have her as a sister and that alone will push her forward.

Ni'ima's immediate sister also came forward to give her a squashing hug as she is known for her exuberance and buoyancy. Manal just finished business management since she wants to be there with her sister to start the little business they have been planning and are just waiting for their cousin Ammar to get the goods so they could start now that she has graduated.

Her skin is just like Aisha Ilham's and they could almost look like twins, they look more alike with her than the rest. She is the light of the house because her yells could be heard as soon as someone drops his legs in their home and at twenty three, some might think she will have sense after growing up but she never does.

Nadirah who was there before them also moved forward to hug her because Lulu was taking all the emotional moment in a live video on Instagram. Nadirah is an interior designer and she is just twenty years old. She finished high school at sixteen and Aisha Ilham decided to send her straight to college with her sisters, there is no use waiting or stopping her, she is better off with them.

Nadirah is much more closer to Aisha Ilham because of how much they think alike though she looks more like their mother because of her fair skin and big eyes. She is the shortest amongst them just like how she is the youngest with curves that could pass as twenty five's. Even Aisha Ilham's curves are no where near Nadirah's.

The last but not the least is Lulu, the twenty two year old architect. She plays with rulers and sketchpad like toys and has the talent of being a great architect. She is also graduating the next day with her sisters and knew she is coming out with first class. She is one of the best Architect in whole University of Lagos and she knows that.

She looks like all her sisters and is the most likeable sister after Aisha Ilham. She has more followers from all social networks but not as close to the motivational speaker. She interacts with her fans more often and has ways to make them smile and go wild. She attends all the small teas and chai's she is called for mostly when Aisha Ilham couldn't grace them with her presence.

Their mother gave birth to them after a year hoping to give birth to a boy for her husband but it never happened.

They are the five Shagari sisters!
