5: MONARCH.

"She was incubated afterward for a while and we were discharged from the hospital. We were given strong warning concerning carrying her because she was prematured. I birthed her when my pregnancy was seven months old. My family members came to see me and my baby; two people were assigned to my care due to my condition.

I thought the coming of our daughter would change Aminu but no, it did not. He continued in his usual ways and I was dying emotionally. My mother came to see me and my daughter and she was complaining bitterly how bad I was looking.

I told her it was the pregnancy and child birth that caused it, she wasn't convinced and I knew it. She asked me about going back to school and I told her the truth about our discussion with Aminu, she was very angry and disappointed. She then opined I should start something with my life and I told her I will have to discuss it with Aminu, I did and he still did not approve of it. I called and told her about his decision and she said we should give time and the issue will be brought up again.

My siblings got tired of my idleness and they started asking me questions I didn't want to answer but I had to tell them the truth eventually. They said that can never happen he must be spoken to.

Three of my brothers called him to hear his own side and reasons but what they got was gross disrespect and said I was his wife and I must do what he wanted, they didn't dispute that and let him be for some time and they brought up the matter again. That was another phase of my problems.

Whenever he was spoken to, a series of plague treatment must be the aftermath of questioning him. My family got tired of it and they asked him to allow me come home for a while, he didn't dispute because I meant nothing to him. I was happy I was going to have a break from all that. I went home with my daughter Nana.

Weeks passed and Aminu has never called us for once to ask how we were doing, if I called him, it's either he won't pick the call or when he receives the call he claimed to be busy. I told my mother and she called my eldest brother and told him. He called Aminu several times but he refused to pick his calls.

Lucky enough, I was able to speak with him after a few days. He poured out his heart to me, I was devastated. He said he got tired of the marriage a long time ago, he was looking for an excuse to opt out of the marriage but one never presented itself, but now that am home already, I should just stay.

He will send me my written divorce and make arrangements of how I will pack out of his house. I asked him to be more patient and give it time but he refused. I couldn't believe my ears.

I waited for him for days to change his mind but he did not. I had to tell my mother, she was devastated and infuriated with anger and shock. I told her I was fine, she shouldn't worry but honestly I was.

My aunts and cousins went and packed all my belongings and took them home. None of his family members has ever called to know how I was doing or Nana.

My brothers said I should start preparing to go back to school, that was when Aminu and his mother called me and asked me to wean Nana and return her to them, telling me'bazan dinga zuwa musu ya won banza da diyar su ba, -I will not be going to school with their child. Am still unable to get admission but I've been enrolling in vocational training classes. I will like to join your foundation after I'm done as a makeup artist." The woman is in tears and that is not only her, almost all of them.

Ilham was shattered after hearing what the woman went through and she is still standing up on her feet. She's heard about those kind of stories but for some odd reason, this hit home and somewhere she doesn't want to touch.

She walked down the stage and hugged the woman to her bosom, looking around the room as all their fellow women cried. All of them are facing their problems but someone's is just greater and huger than the other and totally different.

"You are strong and I admire your courage, May Allah give you all that is good." She moved back to smile at the woman, feeling like she will have a good talk with her later.

After hearing three more women, she apologized and said she will leave for an interview which they understood and wished her good. Her heart kept blowing and fluttering after she helped her fellow women, she feels like she is finally going something good and it is needed for one person to do it.

Arriving at the television station, a lady walked to where she is and welcomed her. She is wearing the place's uniform which is a green shirt with it's logo and black pants, looking as professional as ever.

She is thinking about giving her staff a uniform because it really looks good and they even need to differentiate between her staff and clients.

The interview started thirty minutes ago and it's only remaining ten minutes before they will be done. She felt at ease as she answered all the questions, added more motivational words that one of the interviewers has written on a cup that they would like to give it to her after they are done.

"How do you feel now, that you are famous and well known with no negative words?" The interviewer asked, sitting herself more comfortably on the grey couch, adjusting her mouthpiece as she stares at Ilham.

"Oh, I'm not that famous but I feel good. I feel like I'm finally doing something that I should be doing. It feels amazing to know that you are known for positive things and not negative, it is a feeling I really can't describe with words." She added a small almost invisible shrug. She chuckled a little when she said she wasn't famous, her dimples deepening.

"You are really famous! Your Instagram and twitter accounts are verified and you have almost million followers, is that not famous?" The interviewer smiled, widening her eyes to get her message across, Ilham blushed, she hardly check her followers these days to know that they almost reached million, wow, it has been long.

"I didn't know that they are that much, really. Well, I should really start interacting with them more. To all my fans out there, I love you all." She smiled to the camera, always confident. This isn't the first time she is getting interviewed, be it radio channels and television, she is used to it.

"Some fans still don't understand why you don't follow anyone in your main account and only follow eshalhome, we should clarify that a little." The interviewer read the question before raising her head to look at Ilham who smiled a little.

"Well, I've already written everything on my profile that I don't want to follow some and not follow the other. My siblings and best friend have been pestering me about it but I will only follow them in eshalhome. I apologize if you guys feel left out." Her smile was apologetic also.

"So, what about marriage?" The other interviewer cocked her head to the side to look at Ilham who squirmed before adjusting her veil to hide her uneasiness, she doesn't really like talking about marriage.

"I'll think about that later, but for now, I don't think I have it in mind." She answered after thirty seconds which she prayed they will cut and not show it to the world.

And then they wrapped it up with her words again, she is done. She sighed, looking at her wrist watch to see whether she can take Eshal from school or should just let the driver take her home. She's late so she didn't bother calling, she is probably already at home by now since it is already five pm so she traveled back to her office.

He sighed, using his forefinger and thumb to massage his head. If only he knew that being rich isn't easy and requires a lot of hard work. He just wants to be simple and live a low life but it is not happening with so much money and so many lives depending on him.

"...Today with us is the famous Aisha Ilham Shagari, the well renowned motivational speaker, the owner of that best beauty parlour we ladies love to talk about and that woman who a lot of our women look up to like an idol, motivator and inspirer..." That drew his attention to the large home theater that sat in front of his desk.

He placed the pen he was holding and kept it in the penholder his sisters gifted him. He fixed his eyes on the television and waited anxiously for them to show this woman he has heard a lot about. The way they praised her makes him all giddy to see her, she is like some idol like they said.

He's heard his sisters talking about her like she is their role model, some of his employees also talk about her from time to time. Not only do they gush about her, they all look up to her and there was one time when Qismah quoted something to Kulthoom and said Aisha Ilham said it.

"Don't flatter me too much, I'm not that famous and I'm no idol." He heard her shy laughter but they still didn't move the camera to her face and it looks like they didn't know her voice came out or it's live.

"Hello, my name is Aisha Ilham Shagari and I'm Eshal Home's founder and CEO." She smiled when the camera finally zoomed her face and he was awestruck.

He thought she would be a woman in her mid forties who has gone through a lot in life to help others not go through what she's been but seeing the young lady that looks to be at somewhere around early twenties, he was flabbergasted, astounded, stupefied and also in awe.

She is beautiful. Her dimples will always get one's attention because of how it deepened with her smile while her creamy teeth are straight. Uhm, looks like she eats taking a lot of sugar or black coffee because that happened to him once that he made an appointment with a dentist. She has long carrot nose and plump lips matted with nude lipstick and brown lining. Her eyes are so bright.

He listened keenly to the television waiting for them to say her relationship status but they didn't and he felt annoyed. They always question their relationship status, why not hers? Is it because he is intrigued or what? He chuckled light to himself and continue to draw himself to the television hearing as they are about to wrap up.

When they talked about her social media accounts and how famous she is, he listened attentively and wrote down her handle because he has a lot to research. Maybe her social media accounts will help him answer some gnawing question that filled him. He needs to find out more about her but that's if she isn't married.

"So, what about marriage?" And his attention got back on track, folding his arms on his glass desk and place his head on top.

He waited anxiously for them to show her face so he could read her emotions and see what she has in that bright eyes of hers. His ever so vigilant eyes steadied on her with utmost ardent enthusiasm. His eyes are penetrating into the television.

"I'll think about that later, but for now, I don't think I have it in mind." He could see it, she was nervous and is not willing to think about marriage. Either she has been in an unsuccessful one or she is just against men and that only further triggered his interest.

They wrapped the interview and another subject came up. He stopped gazing at the television and looked down to the handle he wrote hastily, it's all the same. He brought his iPad and started searching for her name and it popped out on Instagram, she even has fan pages, motivational words and poems, interesting.

He clicked into the verified account and started reading her profile. She is a motivational speaker, founder of Eshal Home and also the CEO, she has a beautiful quote by the end of her profile and also three links that lead to eshalhome, motivationalwords and YouTube channel.

He closed his iPad and said he will do that later because those are a lot of things. He willed his mind to go back to work but after reading one page three times and not able to sign, he gave up and started packing for the day and quickly left.

After having a quick dinner, he retired to bed and everyone around the house knew that there was a change in his behaviour but kept quite. They hope it's for the best and nothing is wrong with his work, he also doesn't look worried so that will be a good and positive thing.

He showered, changed into a sweatpants and didn't bother wearing shirt. His hard chest stood broadly and his flat hard stomach also lie beneath his strong breasts. He is proud of his body and liked the time he spent before in gym but not anymore. He doesn't have time for that now and dedicated his life to his work since he is close to making his own first billion.

His iPad kept winking at him but he didn't give his attention to it and started brushing his teeth. He laughed to himself on the mirror because he looks like a teenager who is going to see his crush's nude that she sent willingly but that is not his reasons.

His reason is stronger than that, he is about to start a challenge and so he is giddy. That night is going to be an extremely long night and he is looking forward to see everything he is going to find out about this mysterious woman that is immune to men. . .
