I quickly make the dinner and make sure that everything in the house is perfect. Today Williams parents and siblings were coming to visit and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for them.

I jump when William suddenly appears behind me

" William, you scared me "

" What's for dinner ?"

" Everything that your mother likes"

" Amelia , you know my mother loves you , she just acts like she doesn't"

" I'm not stupid okay ? I knew she hated me since the day I married you. I have tried so hard to please her but her mind just doesn't change . Why do you think she hates me so much "

The bell rings so we both go and open the door , His siblings , Noah and Catherine are quick to hug me.

" We have missed you so much " they both say.

" Mmm, I can smell the food , I'm starving bhabhi , let's eat" Noah says and rushes inside the kitchen.

" You all should freshen up , I'll get the tables ready "

They all quickly rush upstairs . When I see Williams mom talking to him I join him and hug her .

" How are you ?" I ask

" I'm good " she answers and ignores me.

I feel a pang of hurt but I don't say anything and quickly start to serve everyone. I accidentally spill some gravy on my clothes so I rush upstairs and change in to something else.

We all sit together and have dinner when Noah complements me . I say thanks and continue eating.

" David is going to join us for lunch tomorrow " William says as I wrap Posie in a towel.

David is Williams boss , they have been friends for a while , whenever he comes home he always wait for lunch and dinner , there has never been a day when he hasn't had dinner at our house.

I quickly dress her up in her pajama and we three watch a few cartoon shows before going to sleep. I wake up and groan as pain shoots through my arm. Both Posie and William lay on my arm. I carefully remove my hand trying not to wake them up and massage it.

I take a bath and quickly go downstairs to prepare breakfast . When everyone comes to join us , we all sit together at the table and have breakfast .

" Mom are you going to stay here?" William asks

" I don't know , I do feel alone back in Pune so I might stay here for a few days that is if your wife doesn't have any problem with that ."

" Ofcourse she doesn't " William says and pushes his breakfast around his plate.

" You can stay here for forever and I still won't have any problem. It's your house as well ." I say

She nods but doesn't say anything and keeps eating. When everyone are done , I wash the dishes and start preparing lunch.

When I hear the doorbell ring , I hastily prepare the gravy and make sure the biryani is properly cooked. I jump when someone suddenly keeps a hand on my waist.

" William , stop sneaking up on me " I say but when I turn around it's David instead.

" Oh , I'm sorry , I thought it was William "

" No , no , no , it's my fault. As soon as I entered the house , I could smell your delicious food so I came to take a look. "

" I think you're friends with William just for the food "

" Maybe " he says and we both laugh. William enters the kitchen and when he sees me and David laughing , he comes besides me and puts a hand on my waist protectively. His hands tighten when I try to move away. When I look at him I can see the anger clearly on his face .

" I'll help you bring the food out " William says and starts helping. David starts picking up too but William tells him to go meet us outside.

William takes my hand and quickly takes me to the room. I was dreading this moment. We were done with lunch and everyone went to eat ice-cream but when I said I was too tired to come , William stayed back too.

He pushes me in the room and stands in front of me . " Is this why you wear such dresses?" He asks

" Wha..what? What's wrong with my dress ?"

He angrily strides towards me and in an instant the dress is torn from my chest. " You know that my family is here , that my brother and David were going to be here and yet you wore such revealing dress , you are behaving like a fucking slut "

My eyes gets teary and I control my tears. I cover myself with my hands and walk towards the bathroom when he roughly pushes me back against the wall.

" Stop this William , what is wrong with you. I was just talking to David and I always wear such dresses. You shouldn't have married me if I am such a slut "

He sighs and rubs his forehead . I move out of his grip and lock myself in the bathroom. I start crying when he comes and starts knocking . After a few minutes the door is opened and he hurriedly takes me in his arms. " I'm so sorry , I wasn't thinking , I'm so sorry " he repeats and kisses my whole face.

" How many times are we going to have this conversation ? We have been married for 4 years , we have a daughter and you still don't trust me ."

" I'm sorry , you know how I get when I'm angry and watching you and David just pissed me off so much . And my brother keeps complementing you. I get jealous and you know I'm a possessive man. It won't happen again ,okay? I promise.

" Seriously William, next time I won't forgive you "

" I promise I won't do this again "

I laugh when he licks my tears " ew, that's so gross ". He pushes my torn dress away and starts kissing me everywhere , his touch , his kisses instantly makes me forgive him.
