Annelia then realizes that she was gone for longer times and that it’s no wonder why her family is out looking for her. Though that loud explosion from the sea startled her she just look at that man in front of her then sighs.

“Geee I wasted too much of my time to you. I better go.” Annelia said as she slowly turns to walk away when she hear one of Johan’s companion calls out.

“Your Highness, the enemies are attacking they found us. Let us leave right now.” Drestjan look at her and grabs her by her arm.

“H-Hey! Let go!” she screams as she keep on struggling.

“You’re coming with us. You have seen too much and know too much.” he said as Annelia’s face turns very pale.

Is he joking? No she can’t go with them...to where? NO, SHE DEFENITELY WILL NOT GO WITH THEM. She doesn’t know them quite well. This is just all a dream, an illusion...she need to escape. Annelia begins to panic.

“WHAT?! NO WAY. Go on your own way and I will go mine. Let’s forget about meeting. Good bye!” Annelia screams as she tries to struggle from his hold.

She looks around and she froze seeing a horde of ugly creatures that are coming from the other side holding swords, Annelia nearly screams when arrows burning with green fire are released in the air. Somewhat Annelia see her surroundings froze...like time stops while the screaming ugly soldiers run towards them.

“Let’s go now Your Highness!” Johan said as they all swim towards the deep sea. Annelia see that this rude man is really going to take her with him and one thing came into her mind.

“W-wait please stop, I-I’m not like you I CAN’T SWIM FOR GOD’S SAKE. I’M HUMAN NOT A MERMAID!” she shouts as Drestjan stop and look at her then without hesitation he pulls her closer and kiss her before they hit the water while Annelia remains frozen in shock.

Annelia feels like she drowns to an uncertain darkness as she loses her consciousness. While she feels someone holding her by her waist and a strong current like a wind is passing by her.

Somewhere deep in the South Atlantic Ocean

Hidden in a magic

Annelia wake up in a foreign room where the light coming in from the window is shining like some diamonds. She looks around in shock as she tries to think what have happened. She slowly gets up and observes where she is, she appears to be in a rich person’s room. It is a room like the room of royalties she watched on movies but this room is quiet unique and her jaw drops upon realizing that the walls she thought was just painted in gold paint were actually real gold. She looks at the things inside the room to see shells, pearls and she feels like she is inside of an aquarium by the looks of the room.

“W-where am I? W-where in the world am I?!” she said as she slowly slides her feet off the bed.

She also realize that her clothes are changed from her soaked shorts and t-shirt into a classy royalty type black gown that is designed with red laced while a ribbon is hanging in her back. She slowly stands when she feel that her body seems so weak. She slowly sit on the edge of the bed when she heard the door opens making her spin in alarm as she stand and prepare herself to defend.

“Oh Milady you’re finally awake. Here, I brought you something to eat……… though I am not sure to what you will like to eat but when His Highness told me to look for some food for you I just took whatever food I can find. I-I hope you will like some of it.” a beautiful girl wearing a thin white dress that is currently being blown by the wind and is bare footed entered the room holding a basket full of green foods, Annelia recognize some as what they call as sea weeds and those green berry like that is served in restaurants.

“W-who are you and w-where am I” Annelia asks as the girl approaches her and laid the basket to the rock table beside the bed.

“I’m Shinum Milady and you are in Asheville, the main kingdom in the South Seas. His Highness brought you here and I am given the task of caring for you.” the beautiful girl said as she offers Annelia a green plant that Annelia see that is identical to a wild plant in her family farm.

The girl looks at Annelia as Annelia shakes her head to turn down the girl’s offer. She can’t be sure if the food is really edible and if her stomach can handle it. So to prevent her from getting sick she needs to decline…… she also have to think of a way to escape so she needs to be in good condition.

“Ummnnn thank you but I’m not yet hungry.” I said with a fake smile. (I’m not hungry, I’m angry. I’m kidnapped and who knows what’s happening to my family right now. Hmnnn I wonder……… what are they doing now that I’m gone, are they even looking for me. Will! Yah sure they might be.”)

Annelia slowly stand when the necklace she wore came off to the cleavage of the dress she is wearing. Annelia look at the girl who introduced herself as Shinum when she saw that the green plant Shinum was offering to her drop to the floor. She looks at her face to see Shinum turns white as if she was frozen. Annelia followed to what Shinum was looking to see her staring at the necklace now freely hanging on her cleavage.

“Ahmnnn miss Shinum what’s wrong are you okay you look as if you have seen a ghost?” Annelia stand as she slowly walks closer to the girl when Shinum suddenly blow an air to her face and she lost her consciousness.

“What’s bothering your thoughts Drestjan? Is anything alright?” King Serafilos ask his son who look as if he is thinking deeply.

“Oh by the way… the human girl you brought here, who is she?” Mage master Shetama asks

They are all sitting in the royal court discussing about their strategies to counter the attacks of the enemy. The evil king Zeruth is becoming stronger any day and he already taken down almost all of the smaller kingdoms in the sea. It is a matter of time when he will come attacking them to. King Serafilos feel really bad knowing that their enemy is none other than his son…… the son he ignored then flourished into a great magic warrior on his own efforts. But now… this is his entire fault for being such an incompetent father. He favored Drestjan when HE has twin sons needing equal support.

“She helped me when I drifted on the seashore wounded. She is a human and an annoying one………… but there is something bothering me.” Drestjan said as he leans on his knuckles.

“What is it?” king Serafilos asks.

“She knows about us…………that WE exist. There is also something that she said that struck me.” Drestjan answered.

“What is?” the mage asked.

“When she said that I must be Luthan’s brother ……… then she finally mentioned meeting Ze-Luthan. She is not just an ordinary human; she might be an informant of Zeruth from the human world. Though I am not sure myself.” he answers as they all look at him astonished.

“Y-you mean she knows more about—” the mage didn’t finish his words when the door suddenly opens and Shinum came running in looking really pale and scared.

The mage stand and walk closer to her then hold her hands.

“What’s wrong my dear?” she ask to the frightened girl. Every one of them is stunned and worried to what might have happened to rattle this servant with a great magic in her.

Shinum drops on her knees as she bows to them while she takes deep breaths to calm herself.

“Y-Your Majesty...t-the g-girl is wearing a c-cursed n-necklace.” she said as everyone in the room gasps.

The king stands and walks closer to Shinum. This certain servant is not an ordinary mermaid; she has a sensitive perception of magic so she is the one managing the palace’s other servants. To see her frightened like this, she must have sensed a very strong and ominous magic from the item she speaks of.

“Is it the truth? Who is she then?” Drestjan said as he looks at the mage with questioning eyes.

“A cursed necklace? I have never heard of any.” The mage master Shetama said as he thinks.

Drestjan stand and walk towards the door to head to where the girl is. The king, the mage, Johan his friend as well as his general and Shinum followed after him.

“I made her sleep just in case, Your Majesty.” Shinum said as they all walk towards the room the girl occupies.

Annelia opens her eyes again to see herself lying in the bed. She remembers what that girl did before she loses her consciousness. She slowly get up then sit in the edge of the bed when the door suddenly burst open and 5 mysterious looking people came in. She see the man she identified as Drestjan, the one who kidnapped her coming in…seeing him make her feel really mad… behind him is Johan and the girl she just meet who identified herself as Shinum.

Annelia look at the man coming in with them wearing a golden crown and he looks as if he is trained in the battlefield, he has a masculine body (broad chest and perfect structure like a model) like Drestjan and Johan’s, he have long black hair and he wore a sparkling robe. And lastly enters a man who has also a masculine body and look so strong and is holding a book in his right arm wearing a dark blue robe.

“Uhmnn excuse me but where am I?” she asks as they all stops in front of her, all looking so serious.

“Hmnnn you are half correct about it Shinum, it is not cursed………but so powerful…… I think I know who made it. This is the LUMNIR. Strange, how come she is in possession of it?” the man who was holding a book said as he gapes on her looking directly to the necklace she wore.

“It can’t be the LUMNIR, not that legendary necklace made by the legendary mage king Avilon himself!” the King looks at him questioningly.

Annelia follows where the man holding a book is staring just to see that it was her cleavage, she automatically covers it with both hands.

“H-hey w-what do y-you think you’re s-starring at?” when she said it the man suddenly blushes upon realizing the meaning of her words.

“Ahmnnn, I-I uhmnn sorry about THAT...it is improper of me. But fret not; I am just looking at the thing you wore around your neck. My name is Shetama and I am the mage master of this kingdom. This man beside Shinum is our king Serafilos and beside him is his son Drestjan which I heard you already know and I guess you already know his friend and general Johan. Who are you and where did you acquire that necklace?” the man who introduces himself as Shetama said as they all look at her waiting for an answer.

“Uhmnn ah m-my name is A-Annelia Renne Lunazian t-this was from a man who appeared on me and s-suddenly put the necklace on my neck. Someone told me that only HE can take it off but… he won’t do so then he never appeared again.” she answers as she touch the pendant of the necklace she wore as she feels warm thinking about Luthan. She then blushes when she remembers their kiss. Somehow she wishes to return back to their place...in case Luthan will return and go see her.

“A-a man?” the man who identified himself as mage master Shetama and the man who is wearing a shining crown said at the same time.

“Ahhhhh y-yes h-he never told me his name b-but I guessed base on the book given to me about sea nymphs.” she answers still looking at the pendant she is holding.

“So it is...” the king didn’t finish his words when the mage speaks while looking at the pendant Annelia is holding.

“All that is fated will eventually come to pass. We finally meet the LUMNIR’s chosen Queen.” The mage suddenly utters taking everyone’s attention.

“LUMNIR?” the king said as every one of them looks at the pendant and their eyes suddenly widen.

“What is he planning this time? Why involve the human world? This is getting worse if we can’t stop him while his power is growing the whole world will be unstable and the balance will crumble.” Drestjan said as the mage is busy scanning on his book.

“LUMNIR, a necklace that can open the whole universe’s mysteries. It also said that it can bring out what is in the depths of the sea outside and into the human world. It has the power to give the person it chooses the power to destroy or to protect. It is a powerful item in the whole universe that it was sealed and declared to be forgotten. This was made by the legendary mage King Avilon for someone but it is said that he sealed it for it was so powerful that it nearly destroyed his Kingdom. A prophesy foretold by the great mage king himself said that the necklace will choose the rightful owner...one who can control it. The prophesy mentioned that he/she will become the bridge that will connect humans and nymphs. Everyone will bow to him or her.” mage Shetama reads as the king and Drestjan gasps in surprise.

“My God this is the worse after all. What if the chosen is evil.” the king said.

“When it chooses its owner that person can use its powers whenever that person likes. The chosen will be mark and will be named the ruler of the sea and the land. But… it also said that the chosen is said to be a child of the sea. I wonder why it chooses a human…. It doesn’t make any sense.” The mage continues as he reads and when it ended he closes the book then look at Annelia who is confusedly looking up at them.

“Miss Annelia that necklace is dangerous please take it off before it’s too late.” The king said as Annelia shakes her head.

“I’m afraid I can’t (Drestjan is about to say something) I just can’t get it off. Like I said someone told me that the one who put it on me can be the ONLY one who can take it off. Trust me I asked that person to take it off but somewhat that person is not listening to me at all.” Annelia said as the king and the mage look at each other.

“W-who is it that put it on you?” asks the mage.

“It is only my guess but I think his name is Luthan...who by the way look likes HIM (pointed Drestjan) but scarier… though a little bet gentler than HIM (pointed again to Drestjan with spite).” she answers and they all suddenly froze.

“So it really is him. What is he planning to do? Miss Annelia is the necklace somewhat feel different while you are wearing it. Did it somewhat do something you think is not normal?” asks the king.

Annelia feel so confuse in how they look at her then to the necklace. That it’s as if their lives are at stake. She even feel so scared and want to go back home. Gosh! When and how can she return home?
