Cause It's You

The Sun slowly rises as the birds around the campus chirp in delight. Countless students started to wake up as their alarms started to ring. A lot of student are getting ready, eating breakfast, going to the bathroom and doing their morning routine.

A lot of 1st year students wake up in joy as they were excited for the new journey they were about to face. But a particular 4th year student was still snoring on her bed, with her hair all around her face, drool slowly falling from her mouth, Jessie doesn't seem enthusiastic in waking up this early unlike other students.

Having endured 3 years in College, Jessie is now on her fourth year. She's taking up Business Administration as she hopes to become a businesswoman someday. She has a curly dirt blonde hair that's scattered around her face. Jessie was labeled as the School's nerd as she always wore glasses and a loner.

She has a friend named Ariaj (silent J) in which she spends her time with the most. Ariaj and Jessie met each other since Freshman years and they were friends ever since. At first, Jessie's having trouble in pronouncing Ariaj's names as she always forgets that the J was silent But unlike Ariaj, Jessie was more on the quiet side and Ariaj being the outgoing one.

Jessie yawned as her Alarm rings the third time. She wiped her face with the back of her palm as she stood up and went directly to the bathroom. She doesn't eat breakfast as she told herself that the time she spends eating breakfast will be much worthy if she spends it on sleeping instead. Jessie is not much of a morning person through her whole college life.

She has been labeled the Lazy Nerd as she always got the highest score but she's always late on her first subject in the morning. Jessie then went to tie her hair, not caring if it's still wet as she told herself that she's attending College to learn and not to please people. She then took all of her belongings and proceeded to exit her room. Jessie's been sleeping at the School's Dormitory ever since 2nd Year. She wanted to experience Campus life as she wanted to mingle with other people

But that's the reason she told her parents, the real reason is that it's nearer and she can rest early upon their dismissal. That's why Jessie doesn't have the time to mingle with other students as she spends most of her time studying rather than partying. Unlike Ariaj, she's always at every party that other students held in their house. She's known around the campus but her grades are outstanding even if she spends most of her time partying at people's house

Jessie walks through the hallways as she looks for her new locker. In her hand was books and a lot of other stuffs as she wanted to place everything inside the locker than going back and forth making her life much harder. As Jessie was walking down the hallway, she looks at the line of lockers on her right as she scans through the numbers. Her's was 461 which means it's almost at the far end of the hallway

"455, 456, 457, 458" Jessie muttered ass he scans the next lockers beside the other

"460" said Jessie as she found her locker beside the number she just spoke

Jessie was about to take a step forward but then I forgot to mention that she's extremely clumsy. As soon as she was about to take a step forward, her left feet collided with the other, tripping her in the process. But due to her obvious clumsiness she failed to notice that a man was kneeling in front of her as he was tying his shoelaces.

A huge thump echoed through the hallway as the students look at their way. Jessie couldn't see anything as everything was a blur without her glasses. She was looking for her glasses using her hands as she felt a metallic round shaped object beside her. As soon as she wore them, she came face to face with a man underneath her.

The man had a white skin, blue eyes, and a handsome face. His hair was jet black and she felt her heart race the longer she stares at him. The man on the other side cleared his throat as Jessie's eyes widened as she immediately stood up, placing her hand on his chest that made him grunt in pain as she pushed herself up on his chest. Jessie immediately took her things and fled the scene, not minding that her locker was already in front of her

The man on the other side pulled himself up from the floor and stares at the direction Jessie went to. He looked at the floor to take his bag when he saw a key lying there. He bent forward and took the keys from the floor.

"461" said Zyan as he smirked at the direction Jessie went to

Jessie kept on running as she doesn't want to look back, thinking that the man could be following her. As soon as she exited the building, she saw a vacant bench and decided to stop for awhile. She sat on the bench as she placed her books and other stuffs on it. She tries to catch her breath as she closed her eyes. She felt tired from all the running but someone covered her closed eyes, startling her in the process making her nervous as she thought the man was behind her

"Guess who" said the one who covered her eyes, Jessie then calmed down as she heard her friends' voice

"Hey, what happened? why are you breathing heavily?" asked Ariaj as she sat beside Jessie, noticing that her hair was unusually disoriented

"I just made a mistake on my first day as a fourth year" said Jessie as the scene where she tripped and fell replayed on her mind.

"Why? What happened?" asked Ariaj as she saw the books beside Jessie

"I told you to stop taking all your things at once! you'll bump into someone and-" Ariaj was cut off when Jessie looked at her in a hurry

"You saw?" asked Jessie as she held Ariaj's shoulders, startling Ariaj

"What do you mean I saw- Wait, you tripped?" asked Ariaj as she realizes Jessie's words

Jessie placed her palms on her face as she felt frustrated and embarrassed at the same time. Ariaj on the other side was looking at her with her brows raised.

"Where are you taking those anyway? The office still hasn't released the keys" said Ariaj as Jessie stood up in panic

"My keys!" yelled Jessie as she felt nothing on her pocket

Zyan on the other hand stayed at the same place as he waited for someone to open the locker besides the woman who just bumped into him. The moment he saw her eyes, a part of Zyan became interested in her. Zyan smirks at the thought as he waited for the person to open his or her locker. After a while, a man soon approached the locker beside the girl. and Zyan took a step forward

"Is this locker yours?" asked Zyan as the man looked behind him. the guys' eyes widened as he nodded

"Good, I'm taking it" said Zyan as he snatched the key from the guy and tossing him his key. The guy didn't utter another word as he ran away from Zyan

"This year's gonna be fun" said Zyan as he smirked at the key he just snatched
