"I'm not making fun of you okay," I says avoiding eye contact. Did I just forgot to tell Sander's and Azazel are kinda friends.

"Sander is really something ah," I said, looking at the crowd. "Do you want to leave now, do you?"

"Of course, this meeting will take three hours and wasting our time." He turned, let out a disappointed sighed. Hearing a three hours of meeting stressed me out.

"Very..."I agreed dryly.

"Melliza!" The call turn my attention, it was someone calling my name with the familiarity. Just seeing a two classmates of ours, Venice Sho and Genevie Deinise on their heels somehow made me glad.

"You guys took so long, where have you been?" I asked, curious.

"We ate at the Ma Chou Dang," Genevie replied, it's the famous restaurant in the campus." Anyway, is it true this meeting will take three hours?"

"Yes, it was written in the website."

"What," Slowly, Genevie and Venice expressions changed, both of them appeared to be unhappy.

"Eh this sucks!" Genevie first response, as though she's rolling her eyes and go running for another complaint. "Look, I really have to meet someone at three o'clock and they surely wouldn't let us out later."

"Yes, they do, every time fellows."Venice reminded, behind her standing quietly was a handsome man which I know for being her years boyfriend.

"Are you saying.."I slowly starts, waiting for the other two to complete it.

"We're leaving now."Venice decided.

"What about the sign out?"

"We got you girl, and Azazel." I want to say something and yet before I could do that, both of their eyes looking at us are waiting and smiling. Just seeing Venice's boyfriend at the back adding a percent to the unheard favour. I can't turn them down and these two were helping me at times of need somehow.

"Okay, okay."I accepted. "But, let's hope later that no one will guard the papers."

"Yes! Bye bye guys." And then, so, they leave without anymore words.

If before I was laughing at Azazel from Sander's decision then our tables turned around and I felt someone was laughing to what happened just now. Why, why, this is so unfair scenario, I also want to be in home at the moment. I want to go home early too rather than sitting in this noisy hall.

I took a glanced at my only companion, we were alone together, again.

Although, there's a lot of students were here, still, Azazel and I once left to each other's company.

"They left us again."

"They did."Azazel repeated.

"This will be boring."I whispered, surely dejected.

Now, I only have to wait for the meeting to starts and endure it for three hours. I can go home after.

For the third time rolling my eyes while my brows meeting each other in quiet irritation. I listened to the host of this meeting with no slight of interest. It's been two hours since the whole ordeal starts, talking upcoming events, contest, etc, and yet here I was longing to be in my bed and lay down to sleep.

"I am bored. I want to go home." Who knows how long I'm mumbling those words.

If maybe Donatella was here with me then this moment can be another one remarkable experiences again. We can talk for hours without getting bored. Too much, too bad, she wasn't here and I am alone with someone I do not know and friendly close even in the slightest.

Heavens must hate me today.

I tightened the hold on my bag as I keep hugging it while my face in contact with the surface of soft cotton, helping me to find some comfort as well prevents this eyes to fall asleep. I moved, then looked up to Azazel face.

He is looking in front the stage. With the expression on his face, I do wonder if he is not bored, anything.

"Are you not bored?" Unconsciously, I did voiced out my thoughts.

"Are you?" He glanced toward me.

"Bored, really bored." I murmured and raised my head. "I am really bored, can you talk something Azazel?"

"What?"

"Anything," I take another sight at the stage, the host were busy answering of questions asked by students. "Anything will do, maybe tell about your friends."

"Friends?"

"Yes, friends. Like, Yana or Drenzel?" I noticed something in his eyes glint with a confusion to the mentioned names.

"They're not my friends." His voice were low, weak and firm as he didn't meet my face. He looked back toward the stage. I do not understand what he meant about it, and yet my instincts telling me there's something more behind every lines.

"What do you mean? I think you guys are always together back then ah, when we're in highschool and yes, right, as far as I can recall in the memories."

"They're not my friends."

"Then what are they to you?" I cannot help my mouth asking for it. Our eyes meet once again, and I can feel from his facial expression he meant his words.

"So?"

"I do not treat anyone a friend."

I was taken by surprised with what he just said there. No one expected it, no one expected he will say such thing or am I not ready for the frosty words.

"I see." I nodded with understanding.

Azazel seems kind of that person who was aloof, cold-eyed, detached, remote and very secretive type with a lot trust issues. It suddenly tap my curiosity, and as they says when you're bored, you do crazy and creative things.

So, I asked him. "How about Sander? Is he your friend"

"We're not."

"The others? Ruli? Seuring? Guichen..."

"No."

"What about me? Me?" I asked, pointing my finger to my chest as I teasingly look at him in the eye.

Waiting for his future response, possible reactions perhaps, of course I know, I'm not a friend of him. We don't even have a single conversation back then. It's an empty question.

Azazel stares at me, eyebrows meeting for a second, that break me to let out of soft giggles, because his face looks like frowning there. I wonder if he was mad deep inside. Before he can reply back I beat him.

"Of course I know it's a big no, you don't have to look at me like that." I shrugged chuckling weakly.

Whatever happens today can stay in my memory, also I think the heavens aren't that evil to me and—this day isn't bad at all.

At least, I learned some things, and that can be interesting.
