Chapter 2

HOPE'S POV

"What are you wearing?" That was Mommy's first question.

"Ummm. Clothes."

Mommy looked me up and down. "You dress like your Mom did when she was in high school."

I puffed my chest in pride .

"Oh honey, don't be that proud. Your Mom has more muscles than you have now."

Daddy laughed.

"I am 5'7! I'm taller than the average girl." I reasoned.

"Well, I am 5'8." Daddy laughed even louder.

"Just an inch taller!" I argued.

Daddy raised both her hands as a sign of surrendering. "Oh. Here, Honey." Daddy handed me a set of keys. "Remember. Be a good driver. It's ready in front of the house for you."

I smiled at Daddy. "Thanks," I said and took the keys.

"I will bring Alle today. And sweetheart, you have to pick her up."

Mommy nodded.

Daddy finished her breakfast and kissed Mommy's cheek. "Sweetheart, I have to go. Alle. Come on. Kiss Mommy and Hopy."

Alle finished her drink and kissed Mommy and me.

Daddy picked Alle up and walked out the door. Now it's just Mommy and me.

"Hope, I already put you in several classes if that's okay."

I nodded. "It's fine." I never question my parents actions. Whatever they do is for my future and all.

"Are you ready?"

I looked up to see Mommy smiling. "I'm ready."

Mommy finished her breakfast and walked to me. She touched my shoulder and kissed my forehead. "I'm going to change. You can wait up or just drive to the school. But, you have to text me when you arrive."

I hugged her waist. "Will do, Mommy."

She was about to go but stop mid- way. She turned to me. "At school, you can call me Mom. I don't mind."

I smiled at her.

She laughed and walk towards the stairs.

I reached for my phone and started texting my Best friend, Zara.

She's the daughter of Mommy's Best Friend, Aunt Gina.

I felt like my hair was being such a nuisance. I just tied it up.

I stood and walked towards the living room mirror. I checked myself out for the last time before walking to the front door.

As I opened the door, my eyes landed on my car.

Thank you, Daddy, for the sweet 16 birthday present!

This is one truly amazing car. If I could marry this car, I would. I walked in front of it and touched the insignia.

"Hope, it's a car." Mommy's voice startled me.

"Yes, but it's a Lamborghini!" I beamed.

Mommy shook her head and walked towards me. I looked at how Mommy dressed. So different than her usual attire. She wore a sophisticated looking black dress with her blonde wavy hair in a neat bun and her makeup was light. She looked like a person who just came out from a magazine shoot. "Don't tell me you forgot the way to school." Mommy suddenly said.

I laughed. "No. I was just admiring my car."

Mommy checked the time. "Well, we better go now," Mommy said and walk towards her car.

I got in mine and started to rev the engine. I really liked the way it roared in my ears.

Mommy drove out first followed by me. I couldn’t believe she was still driving her old Audi R8 when Daddy already bought her that new Maserati.

I hoped today would be a good day in school...

BELLA'S POV

"Bella. Don't fall asleep while at the dining table." My mom's soft voice woke me. I felt soft hands on my shoulders. I looked up to see my Mom with a big smile trying to wake me.

"Oh. Sorry."

"You need some time off, Bella."

I smiled. "I will when I'm home from school today." I began to devour my breakfast. Like always, bread and hot cocoa.

Emma walked into the small kitchen and kissed Mom. "Are you sure you don't want a ride? I can give you a lift, Bella."

I declined. "Nah. I can walk. Besides, it’s only ten minutes from here."

Emma nodded.

I looked at the time. “All right. I'm going. Bye Mom, Emma." I kissed my Sister and Mom.

"Be good Bella." My Mom shouted when I close the front door.

I chuckled. Me? Be good in school? Please. If I did, people would walk all over me! I sighed while walking towards Tina's house. We agreed we would walk together from now on.

Only Tina knew who I was really, and she was the only one who would know. I never trusted anyone that easily. Last time I did, something bad happened to me, and I won't let it happen again.

As I walked, my eyes landed on Tina in her uniform.

Wait. Were we suppose to wear our uniforms on the first day of school?

She turned and looked at me up and down. She face-palmed herself. "You forgot, huh?"

I was confused. "Forgot what?"

"We are supposed to wear our uniforms today. You're the captain for God’s sake."

I took a step back from her. "Okay, I forgot! Chill!"

Tina took a deep breath.

I looked at her up and down. The uniform really complimented every curve she had. Especially the breast region.

"Have enough gawking at my flawless sight?" She smirked at me.

I cleared my throat. "I didn't gawk. Just admiring. How can your double Ds Fit in that uniform?" I hold in my laugh.

"Well, it's not that easy to tame these beasts.

We both laughed and start our walk to school

As we were talking animatedly, a screeching high maintenance car drove by and startled us.

"I really hate those bitches who act like they all own this town."

“I agree. I hate them, too. "They think they are all that, but they're not."I added.

"Why can't every elite in this town be like the Laroves?

"Why? I thought all rich people are pigs and rude and snobs." I asked her.

"Bite your tongue! The Laroves are not like that." Tina looked at me. "I know you're not from here, but girl! You need to know who runs this town."

I laughed. "Funny. Run this town. Hahaha."

She stared at me, showing she's not amused at all.

I stopped laughing.

"First, our principal, she was not born rich. She was lucky to land herself a billionaire Wife."

I stopped her. "Wife? She married a woman?"

She nodded. "Have you even seen our principal?"

I shook my head no. "Never actually."

She gasped.

Overreacting much.

"How is that even possible?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. The first time I was there, she was not in. The VP dealt with me." I started. "Last year, I didn't go to school much. Remember? My mom is and was sick. Plus, my dad's death."

Tina nodded. "Well, you will get to see the principal today. I have to warn you. She's very very very hot. Just wait till you see her Wife and kids, too."

I laughed. Is she serious? "Tina you know me well right. I won't look or even smell the same air they breathe. Except when we have a game or something."

Tina laughed "Bella, when you first see Hope, you will shit bricks."

“Hope? Who is that?

"Don't tell me you don't watch TMZ as well!"

I shook my head. "We don't even have cable!"

"Hope is the oldest Daughter the Laroves . She's actually the principal's Daughter with another man before she met her Wife now."

I was seriously shocked by her knowledge of that family. "How do you know all of this?"

"TV. They have that one day in the Laroves life show. It's better than the Kardashian. Richer and more morale!"

I laughed. I could see she was not a fan of the Kardashians at all.

We were so engrossed talking about the so call rich family who owns this town, we didn't even notice we're at the school front gate. It was time to put my bitch face on.

"It's a wonder how you can be all happy and then go to an expressionless human being in 1 second," Tina said beside me.

"It's a talent."

She chuckled.

We were walking towards the school building when a red sports car made an entrance inside the school. "That's the principal," Tina informed me. Followed by an all black sports car with red lines in the middle. "I think that's Hope Larove, the third richest teenager in America."

"Why the third?" I asked her.

"Because her cousins own the first and second spot."

Of course, they do. I looked at the red sports car and a woman appeared from the driver's side. Tina was right. She's gorgeous! "That's our principal?" I asked Tina.

Tina nodded. "The one and only."

I was totally speechless. I examined what the principal is wearing. A very sophisticated black dress must cost thousands. For a Mother, she looks like a model who just came from a photoshoot. Her heels complimented her dress very well, and her blonde hair was in a neat bun. I watched as she walked towards the black sports car. She knocked on the windows, and a few seconds later, a girl got out.

"Wow. She's even hotter than before." Tina sighed dreamily.

That must be Hope. She had blonde hair like her Mother. She had a perfect looking body well built. I must say. She must be a gym person. She was taller than her Mother. A good height for Basketball.

My heart skipped a beat when she turned to my direction. Okay, I usually never agree with Tina, but she's right! Hope is one gorgeous girl. Her white shirt and black jacket complimented her body very well. Her jeans and combat boots showed how rogue she looked.

The principal talked to her a few minutes and kissed her.

Wow. They must be close to each other. I never see a teen kiss their Mother in public.

They both went to the school building.

"Let's go before the bell rings."

I nodded and walked towards the school. This will be a good day...
