Chapter 1

THIRD PERSON POV

"Ladies and gentleman, we just landed in Los Angeles International Airport. The weather is as the usual California sunny side-up. I hope that you enjoyed flying with us.And, thank you for choosing Christ Airlines."

"Hope, wake up."

Hope stirred, but her eyes remained shut. "Mommy. Five more minutes."

Larissa pinched her daughter's thigh, and Hope yelped. "Oww." rubbing her thigh to soothe the pain .

"As days goes by, you act exactly like your Mom."

Hope flashed her smile. "Mommy, does that mean I look hot like Daddy as well right?" She smirked.

"Of course. Come on. Let's wake Mom and Alle. I'm pretty sure they're both still asleep."

Hope nodded.

They all just came back from a business gala that took place in France. Carmen, as always, brought her family to any of the galas. She truly loved her family, and it was also the time that they all get to spend quality time together.

Larissa and Hope walked towards Carmen whose hugging a five- year-old Allesandra as they both lay sound asleep. Larissa shook her Wife lightly making sure to not wake little Alle.

Carmen awoke but still kept a sturdy hold on her Daughter.

"Babe we just landed."

Carmen nodded.

"I can hold her. You and Hope get the bags." Larissa stated carefully taking a hold of little Alle.

Alle stirred but still lay fast asleep.

Carmen stretched herself and stood up to reach the luggage overhead bin. "Next time, we are using the private jet," She said while passing the bags to Hope.

"Why didn't we actually?" Hope asked her Mother.

"Because Mommy said she wanted to ride a commercial plane."

Hope chuckled. She was well aware of her mother's different opinion about things. "I can't believe Mommy is my principal when school starts." She said to her Mom.

Carmen laughed. "Good luck, honey. Just don't make any trouble while she's not herself. You know what I mean."

Hope nodded. She understands her mom's warning. "I won’t, Daddy. PMS Mommy is scary."

They both laughed.

"What's so funny?" Larissa suddenly appeared beside them.

"We're just talking about that guy from the gala. Who fell while walking down the stairs."

Hope was trying hard to hold in her laughter.

Her Mom really knew how to smoothly change the subject.

"Don't laugh at him. He's old." Larissa smiled. "You got all the bags?" "

"Some are in the cargo. But, they will be shipped to the house. Now time to go." Carmen stated as they walk to the car that is waiting for them.

"Welcome back, madam." The family butler greeted.

"Ahhh Alfred. It is nice to see you again." Carmen said.

Hope and Carmen gave the bags to him and got in the car.

"It must be nice to be a little kid. Mommy gets to hold her while I'm alone." Hope said making her Mother look at her confused.

"I treat my kids fair and square, honey," Larissa said and kiss Hope's cheek.

"Just because you're all grown up, it doesn't mean you're not our little girl anymore." Carmen added and kissed her other cheek.

Hope liked this trip. She got to have some fun with her moms. She kissed her mom's cheek back grinning. "I love you both. The best parents anyone could ever dream of."

Larissa and Carmen smiled.

Hope drifted to sleep with a smile on her face on the ride home.

BELLA'S POV

"WAKE UP, BITCH!" A loud bang woke me from my slumber. Another bang, and I jolted up from the bed to the door.

"WHAT?!" I open the door and there stood my nuisance of an older Sister, Emma.

"Bitch, mom needs her morning medicine. I don't know where it is."

"Her morning medicine? You mean the juice? It's in the fridge, Sherlock." I was about to go back inside my room when she grabbed my hand.

"Here. For school." She handed me a hundred. "It's the only amount I can afford."

I handed it back to her. "I did work before school started,. So you keep that. For Mom or yourself."

At first, she declined. But, she gave up.

I smiled at her.

After Dad died and Mom could no longer work, Emma stepped up and became the backbone of our family. She worked as a cleaner in a multi-billion company, and the pay was okay. It fed us. At least. Because my Sister couldn’t afford college after high school, she made up her mind to work for the family. She even broke up with her so call Girlfriend for us. Yes, she's a lesbian. So what?! She’s still a great Sister!

"Oh, and Bella, it's 9A.M.. And your last shift started half an hour ago."

My eyes widened.

She laughed at me while walking out of my room .

OH SHIT! I'm late!

I quickly got ready for work and made myself decent. I put my Long brown hair in a high ponytail. I grabbed my uniform and put on a little makeup to make my face pop. It was a policy to look presentable while working. And being me, it was easy. I had creamy white skin, and it was easy to make me look pretty. I just had to make sure I didn’t look pale like a ghost.

With one last look at my appearance, I glanced at my watch. It was 9:30! SHIT!

I ran pass my Sister who was having breakfast with Mom. "I gotta go. I'm late!"

I didn't even have breakfast.

Because the store is walking distance, I just ran to the store. Being a cheerleader had its perks.

My mind was thinking about what I should say to my boss. She would be very angry. But again, she's always angry. I sighed while running.

I arrived at the store and looked around to see my boss.

"Bella." Her voice startled me. "You're late. And, this is your last day!"

I turned to meet her and smiled sheepishly. ”I’m sorry. I was home late yesterday."

Mrs. Bishop looked at me then waved me off. "Fine. It is your last day after all."

I sighed in relief . It's a miracle she's not in her usual bad mood. Thank God for this day!

I proceeded to my station.

Tina greeted me with her usual huge smile and jumped excitedly making her huge breasts bounce with her. "Hello, Bella!"

"Tina! Hi. Thank God for that."

She smile. "Yes! Be grateful she's not killing you like always."

We both laughed.

"Ready for the new semester?"

I sighed. Am I?

"Maybe."

I began to do my work arranging the canned foods.

"Be ready. I heard Vera say there will be a new student joining our senior class. Well, not really a new student."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

Tina started to help me carry the cans to my station. "Well, she was not in school when you moved here last year. She's the daughter of the famous Larove."

The famous Larove? What? I must look confused because now Tina was looking at me weirdly.

"You don't know who the Laroves are?

I shook my head. "Do I have to know?"

She face-palmed herself. "First of all, her mom is our principal. Second, your Sister works at their building." Tina chuckled.

Oh. One of those rich snobs.

"Well thank God that principal didn't act like my last school principal." I chuckled.

I heard Tina sigh dreamily. "I bless the day when she was born into the world. She's truly a goddess in human form."

I thought she was straight?

"Aren't you straight?"

She chuckled. "I can't be labeled. I am who I am."

I nodded in agreement. She was right. "Sorry."

She waved it off. "It's fine."

I lifted the heavy box from the floor and brought it to my station. All day Long, I just arranged every can and cleaned and mopped the floors of the store.

This is one hell of a day...

HOPE'S POV

"Fix that swing. If someone tries to throw some punches, you need to block them before they touch any part of your body." Daddy said.

I took a deep breath and sighed. "Daddy, I need to have a break. My bones are crying." I pouted.

She was a sucker for a little pout.

"Fine. Go have your rest."

"Hopy." Allesandra called out for me.

"Alle, it's Hope. Not Hopy."

She held her hands up as a sign for me to pick her up.

"I smell terrible."

"It's fine. I missed you, Hopy."

I laughed and lifted her up.

"Alle, I only trained with Daddy for a few hours," I told her.

"I missed you, Hopy." She said while playing with my ponytail.

"Where's Mommy?"

She pointed at our parents kissing passionately.

"Get a room!" I shouted. I walked out from the home gym with Alle to the kitchen. I put her on top of the counter and walked to the fridge to have something to drink .

Since I was fifteen, Daddy has been teaching me martial arts for my safety. Danger is everywhere around us. It's better to be ready than sorry.

"Alle, want some juice?"

She shook her head. "Candy!"

I laughed at my little Sister. I was about to hand her a lollipop.

"HOPE LAROVE DON'T YOU DARE!" Mommy yelled at me.

I quickly moved my hand away.

"She had a toothache. No candy."

Allesandra pouted at her.

Well, good luck , Mommy is not that easy to break. She's strict!

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

Daddy walked in and slid her hand around Mommy’s waist. "Sweetheart. Don't be that way. She didn't know." Daddy kissed Mommy's cheek.

She looked a little calmed down . Mommy looked at me. "Ready for school, Hope?"

I nodded.

"Good. Tomorrow will be your first day as a senior. Nervous?"

I smiled. "Nope. I'm looking forward to it."

Mommy nodded. "Will you drive, or ride with me tomorrow?"

"I think I'm going to drive. Can I?"

Mommy smiled. "Sure you can, honey."

I mentally said 'yay'. I looked at Daddy. "Can I use the car?"

Daddy looked through me with her piercing eyes. "Sure honey."

I got up and hugged them both. "Best parents ever!" I beamed.

"Alle want a hug, too!" Allesandra said.

I hugged her and kissed her forehead. She was truly the gem in the family.

Five years after Allesandra was born, my life had been amazing. My parents never thought of being unfair. They always were . Even if Daddy was always busy with her work. She always had time for us. Even after she launched her new company in the city, she still had time for us. I truly love them both so much. I couldn’t ask for more than a loving parent.

"Hopy."

I looked at my Sister. "Yes, Alle?"

She walked to me and hugged my legs. "I love you, Hopy."

I laughed. "Alle. Mommy will kill me if I try to give you any candy."

Her lips formed a cute pout.

"Alle. No."

She pouted even cuter.

Damn. I looked around and I couldn’t see Mommy anywhere. "Just this once."

She jumped excitedly.

When I was about to walk to the upper cabinet, Mommy was leaning at the door with her hands crossed. She raised her eyebrow and looked at me. I laughed nervously and waved at her.

"No." She simply said and waved back.

"Sorry Alle. Mommy says no."

She walked to Mommy and asked her to lift her. I laughed at her tactics. She’s really trying to coax Mommy. Just wow!

I walked to my room and had a quick shower.

After the shower, I walked to my bed and checked my iPhone. No New messages. I locked the phone and tried to sleep.

I was skipping dinner today.

I wondered how the school was. I hoped there were a lot of cute ladies. I chuckled at the thought. I need a girl... Bad... I couldn’t wait for tomorrow ……
