Carol dialed Flinn's number and answered in a short while.

"Yes Carol, what's up? Flinn answered as he flipped the paper works in front of him.

"Ahmmm,Flinn,do you know that Yuran is back?" Carol ask pensively.

Flinn is surprise and became quite for a moment.

He heard about the news on the other day that Mr. Guillermo is in critical condition,maybe that was the reason why Yuran didn't able to contact her when she arrive.

But he won't let anyone know that he didn't know it yet,of course.

"Ah,yes..I was jut planning to visit uncle Theo now" Flinn replied hiding his inner thoughts.

"Really? I'm not sure if you will be able to meet father because he is strictly guarded. Even mother is not allowed to enter,I also want to visit father but...

I know ,either I can't see him"

Carol sobs as if she's been treated unfairly.

"What? But why?" Flinn ask in apprehension

"I don't know" Carol replied pitifully while sobbing.

" I thought that we are already a family but we guess it wrong. Even mother is humiliated. They treated us like outsider.

We don't want to be unreasonable so we decided to leave. It's no use to live in one roof without belongingness".

Flinn was startled,

"But why will Yuran do that? She is never unreasonable unless she has a reason."

Flinn said after a short contemplation.

"Then what will be her reason? That we are not blood related to them? That's bullshit, my mother is married to her father so why are they being mean to us?"

Flinn sigh as he listen to Carol.

"Carol calm down, okay? I'll visit uncle Theo today, you can tag along if you want".

Carol smiled sweetly as she got what she want to happen.

Hmmp,let me see your reaction Yuran if you saw us together.

"Really? Can I?" Carol pitifully ask.

"Of course,I'll pick you up in your place. I'll be there in a moment." Flinn said before he hang up.

"O...Okay.."

Before Carol could reply, Flinn already hanged up.

Carol smiled victoriously when she got what she wants.Hmmp, you dare to go against us?

Let's see if you can still stand after all we will do. It's also a good thing that you people humiliated mother,it gives me a way to show Flinn how horrible is that woman.

Carol run upstairs with a very wide grin,

"Mother, I'll go to the hospital. Just send me the address of our new place and I'll follow after"

"Huh? Carol,why do you still want to go there. There's no reason to go there anymore. As if they will let you see Theo."

Carol's small face beamed with smile meaningfully,

" Don't worry mother, I'm with Flinn"

Linda was startled,"you mean,Yuran's boyfriend?"

"Yes! "Carol answered happily

"I see,okay. You better watch out if you intend to meet with that woman" Linda warned her.

"Don't worry mother,I can handle this. Hmmm,I wanna see her expression if she see me and Flinn together" Carol cunningly stated.

Linda rolled her eyes,her daughter is really haughty but, she likes it. Specially if the victim is their hateful enemy.

After half an hour of waiting,Flinn and Carol went to Nai Hospital together.

Carol has been in love with Flinn since a year ago. Her first motive of befriending him is to snatch his attention from Yuran but after a year of being a friend with him,she slowly fall in love to him.

Flinn is very handsome, his smile is the most savory thing in his perfect lips that can snatch a woman's heart away. He is like a walking runway king. Every time his presence is there,no one can't resist to stare at him and she is not an exemption.

He is very considerate man,easy to get along and most of all,he is very understanding which he likes the most. She admitt that she admire this attitude of him.

The evidence? Of course,it's his relationship with Yuran. Even if it's just a long distance relationship,he never saw him flirt with other girls. Except for her who let him come near him and intrude his private life because he considered her as Yuran's family,which she hate and like it at the same time.

She hate it because she never saw him as an attractive woman. As if her title as the most beautiful lady in their University is just a naught.

She like it at the same time because Flinn never let any woman come near him and intrude his private life. Even in their University, people mistakenly see them as lovers which is very fulfilling to her part.

In her every moment with Flinn, she's very happy but then every time Flinn mention Yuran,she feels like falling from the high sky directly into the ground.

Carol keeps on asking to what's with that woman? Why all the people who know her adore and love her unconditionally. They trust her without doubt and give their support without condition or waiting in return.

Almost all the people except Flinn and her mother,they are all into her,because they need something from her.

She can't feel trust and love from those circle of friends that she got. There is no one among them whom she can open up her weaknesses,her hardships,her failures. If she will try to open up,she will be judged and condemned her weaknesses.

Only this man tolerates her but she can feel that it's only a sisterly concern.

As the two reach the VIP room,

"Can you inform Yuran that her boyfriend is here"

Flinn politely ask the one of the guards outside the room.

The guards didn't react like they didn't heard anything.

They keep in mind the two siblings order.

Flinn sigh and dial Yuran's number.

"Hello,Flinn?"

Flinn's heart leap as he hear the melodious voice of the lady on the other line.

" Hey,babe I'm outside of your father's room. Are you here?"

He ask lovingly.

Carol's heart tighten as she listen to their conversation. It's her first time seeing Flinn to talk sweetly and full of care. Even his eyes alone can show how he loved that woman.

If only those emotions are only for her,

If only those sweet and caring words are for her.

With that,her desire to get him became stronger.

Suddenly,the door open and revealed a fairly beautiful woman. Carol is known as the most beautiful woman in their University but compare to this woman in front of her, she can't tell anymore.

What's more,she is just wearing a loose white T-shirt and denim jeans with hair slightly disheveled,

Yet,

she looks alluring.

Carol was dumbfounded,she already saw her on picture but she never expected her to be this beautiful.

"Yuran!"

Flinn exclaimed as she hugged her tightly.

"I miss you" he whispered softly in her ears.

Yuran was startled but upon recovering,she smiled sweetly and hug him back,

" I miss you too",

she replied truthfully.

There's nothing she could say to this man. He is very understanding and loving.

When she looked up,

she saw a woman starring at them with an eyes fill with jealousy.

"Oh, Carol,what are you doing here?" She ask in clear tone.

"Ahmm,I'm sorry babe but I bring her with me, she said she wants to see your father" Flinn explain as if he is afraid of misinterpretation of his kindness to his stepsister.

"Really?" Yuran ask mischievously

"I..." Carol was out of words when she witness this woman's demeanor.

"I just want to see father" Carol said with her head down

"You're not mad to me right?" Flinn ask Yuran in assurance.

"Why should I" Yuran replied

" I'm just curious why this woman wants to see father now.

When father was dying,where we're you? Don't tell me you're in a business meeting as well?"

Yuran ask sarcastically.

Carol was startled,

"No,...no, I'm in school that moment. I..I don't know. I really don't know." Carol answered anxiously.

"Oh, so you mean it's father's fault that he didn't told you and your mother that he will be dying anytime soon.

Oh,wrong it might be the servants mistake that they didn't call you and your mother when father is dying." Yuran commended sharply

Carol shivered to Yuran's words,she never expected this woman to to have a sharp tongue.

"I'm sorry I know I'm unfilial. Please punish me if that can ease your anger. I'm really sorry, I just want to see father"

Carol shivered as droplets of tears fall in the floor.

Yuran smiled to the woman's hypocrital act.

She can be a sure win candidate for best actress in Oscars awards.

"Really? Are you sure of wanting a punishment?" Yuran ask amusedly.

Carol's face flushed and reddened. She did not expect Yuran to take her what she so called punishment seriously.

"Ye, ...yes sister" she replied with a bit of fear and hesitation.

"You can't be serious right?" Flinn ask out of concern to the pathetic State of Carol in front of them.

"What do you think?" Yuran ask smiling.

"Err,I understand if you can't forgive her yet but,she admitted her mistake. So just let her see your father. She's your sister anyway." Flinn said convincingly.

Yuran paused for a moment and looked at the man beside her.

If you only know Flinn that this teary and delicate hypocrite colluded with her evil mother to kill my father,then how you should react?

To humiliate them is not enough, I want to see them fall, destroyed and wish they didn't exist. Revenge is not in my vocabulary if it's only a one mistake,but if they repeat it, it's obviously intentional.

What's more,it's her family that they hurt. Not just once or twice,they even colluded together to take what's not belong to them. She abhor them.

"No." Yuran said in monotone.

"But I think she will not harm uncle. Although Carol is a little impulsive, she won't do anything to harm uncle." Flinn tried his best to help Carol. He really pity her.

"That's not my point of not letting them in." Yuran said as she look straight to Carol.

"We already gave them a lot of chance to take care of father but they failed. And father almost died in their hands."

Yuran pulled Flinn inside ignoring the tearful woman behind them. Tsk,what a good actress.

Flinn was hesitant to leave Carol in this state but he let himself be pulled inside by Yuran.

"Yuran! Are you implicating us that we try to kill father!"

Carol ask shaking as if she is so weak to stand against Yuran's condemnation.

Yuran paused for a moment and turn smilingly at the fragile and pathetic woman behind them.

"What do you think?"

Carol froze on her spot to Yuran's demeanor.

"Hey babe,Carol can't do that. She will never harm your father though she is very playful and arrogant sometimes,I know she can't do that" Flinn blurted.

Yuran froze to the word of the man beside her. Her heart pounds hardly of anger and gritted her teeth.

"Oh,so you know her well huh?" Yuran replied blankly.

Her expression is as blank as a dark deep black hole. No one can read nor dig what is inside even if you dive untill it's bottom.

Flinn was shocked to Yuran's reaction. He never saw her like this before. Even if she's angry before,she will just don't talk to him and ignore him.

Flinn forgot that the damage is too deep and the victim is Yuran's father so the abhorrent is too deep. And he mistakenly protect the enemy of his girlfriend.

"Err,...babe.. don't be angry okay?

Alright,it's my fault for bringing her here I'll just drive her home and return afterward to accompany you. Is that okay" Flinn said trying to console the situation.

Without waiting for her reply

Flinn kiss her forehead and pull Carol away from the hospital. He doesn't want to deepen the misunderstanding. He drives fastly to be able return to the hospital as soon as possible.

Carol keeps on sobbing and look really pitiful. Head bending down,with tears continue flowing and dropping on her lap. Flinn doesn't know how to comfort her so he just stay quite.

"Flinn, do you believe that we try to kill father?" Carol mumbled in full agony.

Flinn's heart is like pierced by a needle to Carol's question. Of course she know that this lady is innocent. She's been running around almost fallowing him everywhere after school, so he believe that she didn't have anything to do with it. She understand her because she doesn't have a close sibling and Yuran is away from home. Her brother Gabriel is also out of the house so he just let her follow him almost everywhere to ease her longing for her siblings love.
