Sylendra understood the protocols well, hence she was the best for this duty. 

She had such strict authorities because she was said to be the most closest person of Great Master Thompson who can be strongly trusted with such a highly confidential work related Master Ethan. 

Sighing tiredly Syoendra knew she had no way out of this now, tomorrow is the welcome of her foster brother cum her new boss at the headquarters. 

She wouldn't want to see any disappointed in his reaction when he will visit his cabin which was arranged solely by her. 

Hence pulling her hair up into one high bun with determination, she decided to start off from the undone desk first. 

Pulling, then rolling her white shirt's sleeves up to her forearm, she started unfurling the huge boxes and taking the things out of it one by one which were the confidential and personal assets of her foster brother. 

Master Ethan himself sent those things beforehand saying it should be neatly arranged as per his preferences. 

One after another Sylendra took the things out of the boxes making her surprise in no time. 

Wooden showpieces and antiques with a pinch of athletic taste. He seemed to be a sporty person yet one man of having rich taste in art. She never thought things like this would be a business man's preference.

Master Ethan's taste surprised Sylendra. 

Like he was rumoured to be one straight forward man with less tendencies of patience and emotional attachments, he should to be caring less about materialistic interests like such, right? 

But the case wasn't much alike here. 

Sylendra smiled a bit. 

Her foster brother had an amazing taste in decoration she admitted gladly with no doubt. Those things looked expensive to her... very expensive yet classic of use! 

Strangely no picture frames were found in his stuffs for her to see the owner of the assets. She was bizarrely intrigued by him. Impressed to be exact!

Along with Sylendra no one ever saw him until now, which only added more curiosity to her thoughts for her foster brother. 

A man with such high skills and rich taste... it got her curious to no end just by seeing his stuffs.

How would he be in person then? Sylendra wondered for a moment. 

Soon diverting her eyes back to her work, there laid another carton on the other side of the table which still stayed undisturbed, following the same curiosity Sylendra unfurled the same without any thought and finally found something she had been quite hoping to look for. 

Sylendra got surprised witnessing a picture there then. Frowning heavily Sylendra picked the frame up before making up any thoughts about it. 

Staring at the picture for a minute or so, she frowned deeply. It wasn't one picture of any grown up man to assume it to be Master Ethan... 

In fact it was one frame of a young boy aging roughly 10 with a woman of early 30s, smiling dearly. Seeming like a mother and son duo.

"Is it?"

Sylendra pronounced in confusion, before taking no time to realise that it could be one of the pictures of Master Ethan with his late mother from his childhood.

Right, She had seen the same young boy's portrait hanging round in many walls of Thompson's mansion. 

He was Master Ethan when he was a child, the heir of Thompson's territory. 

Great Master Thompson still cherished all the memories of his son all these years and even till this day, obviously Sylendra owned enough knowledge about his childhood as she grew up in the very same environment and home where he once grew up. 

But the case of her confusion wasn't Master Ethan at the moment at all, it was in fact... the woman with him, his mother! 

"Is it Mrs.Thompson?" 

Sylendra mumbled next eyeing the woman in a straight focus, the reason for her confusion was valid because she had never seen her before. 

Not even in portraits. 

Her mentions had always been rumoured. 

Though many portraits of young master Ethan was in display in the grand mansion of Thompson's but there was not even a single portrait of the late madam Thompson. 

None dared to know why either... 

"But why is there no picture of uncle anywhere in it?" 

Sylendra frowned in clear question before taking out other assets out of the same carton but resulting to find no more pictures frames in it.

There was only one frame in his assets, that was Master Ethan's and madam Thompson's picture of childhood. 

Great Master Thompson was Master Ethan's only parent left now then why didn't he have any picture of him in his stuff but only his late mother's?

Sylendra became disturbed by the fact. 

Sure, rumours too stated that Great Master Thompson never had any peaceful relationship with his wife before her death. 

Which resulted in their separation, when Master Ethan was only 10 years old he had to witness his both parents splitting up in a very tragic manner. 

Madam Thompson then took Master Ethan with her winning his custody as well, that was one of the tragic turning point in their split which still affected Great Master Thompson till this day. 

He lost his son in this entire process. 

Later, Madam Thompson provided young Master Ethan the legal authorities over her own heritage, making him the heir of her title from her parenthood. 

Which turned him into the legal heir of Sebastian's territory. 

That was one of the biggest scandal of all time. 

Which resulted in massive controversy aiming rivalries between both Sebastian's and Thompson's territories, as then by providing him the title of her own madam Thompson proved that Master Ethan had nothing to do with his father's liabilities anymore. 

He needed no heirship of Thompson's territory after Master Ethan took over Sebastian's business empire. 

Cutting all of his ties with his father, late madam Thompson separated Master Ethan with his father in every possible way. 

Great Master Thompson lived all his life alone in sadness and silent regret for losing his son without showing his effort either. 

He was helpless for him. 

Since the day madam Thompson and young Master Ethan left the grand mansion of Thompson's, Great Master Thompson's life felt selfless and useless. 

That's when shortly Great Master Thompson took Sylendra in his foster care. She was just 6 when he discovered her with her dying mother and he decided to raise her like his own daughter. 

He made Sylendra his family which caused his pain to lessen to some extend. He joyed over the parenthood while raising her like his own daughter instead of his own blood.

He never raised any complains about his fate. Great Master Thompson believed all of that meant to be. 

Sylendra was believed to be the god's gift in Great Master Thompson's life.  

But shortly when the news got leaked about madam Thompson's sudden death after only few months of her separation with Great Master Thompson, it was one heavy shock for him to take in. 

He was devastated though he never showed it to anyone. 

Great Master Thompson tried his best to get untied with his son who just lost his promising mother but that seemed to be one impossible step indeed, the last will of madam Thompson stated that Great Master Thompson should never meddle or to be allowed nowhere near Master Ethan's business until he turns an adult and himself allows his father to see or make any contact with. 

That broke Great Master Thompson more. 

Hence, tied up with all the exact complications of all the legal procedures and legalities. Great Master Thompson was bound to stay away from his son all these years. 

Until then one day finally came, when Master Ethan responded to the appeal of his hopeless father seeking for his attention. 

It was because Great Master Thompson's health was very serious and it demanded the strict attention of his son. 

Great Master Thompson had no greed in his heart but one that his son should take the heirship of Thompson's territory too and lead the industry ahead.

That was the only wish stated by Great Master Thompson for his son, who later surprising agreed to do so too. 

Master Ethan was indeed one man of secrecies who was still a huge question for Sylendra to figure out. 

Sure Great Master Thompson had few pictures of him in his mansion for display but yet none were recents. 

It was his childhood pictures what Sylendra saw in display never his grown up self was known to her, she never saw him in person as well like others, even Great Master Thompson...

Even he never got to see Master Ethan after he left his mansion 10 years ago with late Madam Thompson. 

Rumours also stated that Master Ethan denied every chances to avoid meeting his father all these years not only that he also avoided sharing any headlines with him over the press. 

It was all because he blamed his mother's tragic death to his father.
