Antagonism

- Your Majesty!
- Yes, Yeugon!
I felt it too! confirmed the prince, an abominable coldness emanating from his body. He looked far away, beyond the horizons, to where the unwanted beings that aroused his rage and hatred were.
- How dare these foreigners come to Grovius, unabashedly displaying such atrocious intentions and believe that they will succeed?
They will pay for this.
Then the prince wore a face so cruel and implacable that even Yeugon was afraid.

It took him some time to regain his powers, precious minutes that he wasted for no good reason, allowing the enemies of the empire to move forward with their plan of destruction, but as soon as his magic returned, bubbling up in his body, he flew without further ado over the forest to the battlefield.
A gigantic fire engulfed half of Grovius' massive city and magical black clouds quickly covered the sky, which minutes earlier had been as blue as Emperor Jergal's party suit.
- What's that?
" the prince murmured, staring at the black mass where swarms of flying monsters with gloomy scarlet eyes appeared, spitting out a very powerful magical fire that burned the city and caused many people to scream in agony. These screams tore through Grovius' space and quickly aroused the prince's destructive desire to kill.
No sooner had he guessed this deadly situation than an army of black, flying monsters, sensing his threatening presence, turned on him, throwing powerful magical blows.
Yeugon erected a gigantic spherical barrier around them before launching a huge devastating shot that suddenly eradicated the army.
The prince heard terrified screams below him, near the forest, and saw a small family desperately fleeing another army of ferocious beasts, but this time not flying and wearing very thick dark armor.
He quickly climbed down and reached out, exerting his power, which quickly changed the ground beneath the monsters' feet into a huge lake of mud where shapeless giants emerged halfway down to grab the beasts as easily as small wood and take them into their sinister and fatal depths.
The prince put his foot on the ground with a ferocious smile.
He turned for a moment to his stellar beast with confidence. But what he didn't see was the swarm of dark monsters lurking in the undergrowth and bushes, sordidly watching the prince and moving with frightening speed and stealth. Then a monster took the offensive and quickly leapt at the prince, but was stopped in its near-death attack by a round creature with dark red fur. The heir immediately turned to see what was happening and saw a monster and a round creature pass before his eyes before rolling away. The red creature landed heavily on the ground while the black beast got up with ease before rushing towards the adorable rescue creature. But as before, the latter saw his mortal enemy immobilized before bursting into a thousand pieces.
The prince then floated towards his red-haired savior, who crouched fearfully on the ground, terrified of the powerful young warrior, despite what he had done for him and why.
He looked at him for a moment with that icy look that horrified him so much, before stroking his head.
- You were fantastic, you know.
You did something you didn't need to do. And you did it with courage. I don't know if you saved my life, but I'll take it as a given. Thank you.
Happy and relieved, the scarlet creature raised its head with a smile, and shyly snuggled up to the prince.
The other allies of the monsters appeared from the woods and rushed towards their young ruler, who reached out, creating a huge star shield that quickly grew and crushed everything it touched, living or not.
He looked at the fearful creature who nevertheless showed him unbounded confidence.

- Stay there, I'll be back soon.

The round creature nodded happily.

The prince gave it an arrogant, yet surprisingly tender expression.

- Very good boy.

As the young healer stood up, he looked up at the cloud where a titanic monster with icy eyes appeared, also wearing thick armor of stellar metal.

The heir gave it an icy look that meant nothing but destruction.

He also rose into the air and exerted his power, emitting a phenomenal light that stunned everyone.
The planet's army, wearing gray and white armor with the imperial crest, bravely and skillfully fought Grovius' invading beasts.
When the prince finally emerged from his ocean of light, he in turn wore a thick but light, special armor made of star metal and his Yeugon beast became a titan, majestically wearing a blue beard and a royal crown, and whose armor was forged from the same alloy as that of his master, who was now reaching out to their opponent.
Then both parties prepared for a gigantic launch of a magic shell.
Yeugon spread his flaming wings and formed the shot, the monster in turn wrapped himself in black clouds to gather it and turn it into a phenomenal orbit.

And when they finally launched their destructive bombs at the same time, the shock was so violent that they destroyed the remnants of the invading army that Grovius's guard could not eliminate, while the prince protected by his great magic his people and the city from the devastating waves of this confrontation, which required incredible strength and drained him of his forces.

Then always with a cold rage and in spite of a worrying tiredness, the heir intensified again the fire of his beast to push back the invading giant monster and to send it in space before disintegrating it in a formidable explosion which illuminated one moment a whole part of the considerable planet.

In front of this resounding victory, all congratulated the heir for his courage and his heroism.
But not yet satisfied despite this triumph, the prince suspected the traitors who had dared to sell his beloved empire to foreigners. And whatever the reasons that led them to this treason, he will make them pay in such a way that they will never recover.
