Azrael awoke with a slight headache she looked around for nothing in particular her gaze falling on the empty bed across the room she shared with her sister "huh luz must have already left "she got up to put on her normal attire with a cape that had the emperors symbol on it. and got her mask she could hear slight knocking at the door "come in" she said just then the door opened "ah silver guard i assume the golden guard is with you" she ask tilting her head a bit while making her ears and tail disappear the silver guard shook her head and spoke " no only me and sis just call me by my name" taking off her mask she smiled and continued "no need to be formal" Azrael nodded and chuckled "anyways why are you here luz" Azrael asked luz perked up "oh yeah kikimora said to accompany you and make sure you actually show up for training" Azrael sighed "of course she did" Azrael mumbled under her breath "welp lets go" luz said in her usual happy tone she walked out with Azrael following close behind as they got closer to the arena they saw the golden guard aka hunter standing waiting for Lilith to come "wassup Goldie" Azrael said while walking up to him he groaned in annoyance "i said stop calling me that" "and i said no can do" Azrael said while sticking her tongue out luz laughed "ok ok both of you chill and azzy put your mask on you know the rules" Azrael rolled her eyes "ok mom" she said in a sarcastic tone and put her mask on just then Lilith stepped around the corner with two other people. behind the mask, you could tell that luz, hunter, and Azrael were dumbfounded Lilith stepped up " golden guard, silver guard, and diamond guard these are my two new apprentices amity and rei" she said smiling Azrael quickly regained her composure and spoke "you must be pretty strong if you were chosen by Lilith here" luz and hunter nodded their heads "and their blights to no wonder" hunter spoke " they will be here to train with you guys so play nice" Lilith said looking over to Azrael " I'm talking to you diamond guard" Azrael scoffed "hey silver here is more of a sneak than me" she protested Lilith just shook her head and look over to luz "keep your sister inline" luz nodded Lilith opened the door "ill be supervising you from the bleachers you can exchange pleasantries when your done walk to the arena"

Azrael's p.o.v

she walked away in the direction of the bleachers' luz looked at amity and rei and took off her mask "hi I'm luz nice to meet you" she said sticking out her hand while smiling amity and rei looked at her and nodded "amity blight nice to meet you as well" she said luz put her hand back realizing they weren't going to shake it and let out a nervous chuckle "rei blight" the other girl said 'wow they must be a lot of fun' i thought rolling my eyes. hunter took off his mask and looked at them "my name is a hunter" he said the two girls nodded I didn't notice I was spacing out until I heard a faint cough I looked around and saw all eyes on me I took my mask off and gave a small smile "hello the names Azrael" I said with a salute luz laughed "your stupid azzy" she said through laughs I smirked "shouldn't we go" amity said gesturing to the arena "oh yeah I almost forgot" luz and I said in unison

we were sitting down taking a break when Lilith walked up to us "very good practice guys you may be dismissed" she said we all nodded she left and we sat there in silence for a while until luz finally spoke "man you guys a pretty strong" she said smiling "yeah and I'm tired so let's go you guys do know the way out, right" I asked looking over to them they nodded "well we can walk you out" luz said we all got up and made our way to the gates "get home safe" hunter said as they walked off we turned around about to go our separate ways until we saw a guard he came up to us panting "belos needs to see you guys" he said in between breaths we nodded 'here we go again' i thought
