Chapter 1

I woke to the blaring sound of the alarm. I grab my newest iPhone with my beautifully manicured fingers and turn off the alarm. It was 6 o'clock in the morning. Ugh, time to get ready for school. I stretched my long legs on my queen-sized bed and sat up against the headboard and called for my maid. A very shy and tiny girl peeked through my bedroom door. I don't think I have seen her before. Must be a new maid that my mother hired. Ha time to have fun.

"You may enter" I ordered in the most bitchy voice I could muster.

"What can I get you, ma'am?" She asked with her head down

"You're new, right?"

"Yes Madam"

"Listen really carefully and take notes new girl because I don't like to repeat myself. Every morning I wake up at 6 in the morning so you better have my coffee ready by 6:05. And don't be late ever because I hate tardiness". I barked and she flinched at my tone. The poor girl looked like she'll piss her pants anytime now.

"Um.. y..yes madam" she stuttered and for some reason, she was rooted to her spot.

"Why are you still standing here? Go get my coffee now!" I yelled.

"Umm..I..I don't know what t...type of cof..coffee you t...take madam"

"Oh my God stop stuttering can you be any more pathetic? Who hired you?"

"I.. I.." "You know what don't answer that. I drink black coffee, No cream, No sugar." After hearing this she ran out of my room faster than the speed of light.

Well, I'm not particularly rude to people in general but I like to make a harsh first impressions, so next time they know who they are dealing with and who's the boss bitch here. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Alexa Black. I'm seventeen years old and in two weeks time I'll be eighteen. I have light brown hair with blue eyes and I am a silver beautiful wolf with sparkly blue eyes whose name is Sierra and she is the polar opposite of me. She's all rainbow and sunshine while I'm bitchy and snobbish.

I'm very well aware of how much of a bitch I'm to people. I have two best friends Sophia and Iris both A-class bitches like me. I have on and off relationship with the future alpha of our pack. Who is so he's madly in love with me that if I asked him to stand on his palms and race against Usain Bolt on feet, He. Will. Impossible, right? Maybe not in his wolf form.

He is a very handsome giant black wolf, I like his wolf better but for some reason, his wolf doesn't like me that much but I couldn't care less. As long as his human form was wrapped around my finger. After drinking my coffee, I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth, took a shower and dressed up in school uniform.

I go to a private elite School called Eastwood High. My uniform is a tight body-hugging white buttoned-up shirt and a black plaid skirt, with a black tie and a blazer in winters. I always hike up my skirt a little to show off my long creamy legs. I went downstairs and find my family and Alpha's family sitting around the table having breakfast.

My dad and uncle Derek are best friends before being Alpha and Beta. They grew up in the same mansion together and are like brothers to each other. They also got married in the same mansion and made babies in the same fucking mansion. Both of them are inseparable. Annoying, right?

I sit in my usual seat which is next to Damien, who may or may not be my mate but surely will be my husband because our families literally 'ship' us. And I really don't have a problem with it because Damien is the kind of guy I could spend the rest of my life with. I mean he's rich and he's handsome with dark blonde hair and sparkly dark blue eyes. From his chiseled jaw to his sculpted body everything about him screamed perfection but I am not so crazy about him like other girls at our school. I mean he maybe husband material in future because look at me I was born to be a Luna but somewhere inside of me I was also waiting for my mate like every other girl.

As I sat down Damien's hand brushed against the side of my thigh. I know he did that on purpose, so I played along I put my hand on his leg under the table and squeezed his inner thigh just a few inches away from his crotch and he looked like he will pass out any minute. Gosh, I just love having this much power over the future Alpha. Sierra was disapproving at the back of my mind over my little tease.

"Good morning everyone" I greeted

"Good morning my beautiful future daughter in law" Alpha or should I say uncle Derek greeted. I don't know why but when he called me his daughter in law I felt uneasy. I mean our family have always hinted that one day Damien and I will end up together but now they were making it quite obvious and I clearly remember on my 17th birthday my mom told me that if I ever get to meet my mate I should just reject him instantly and I am sure they told Damien the same thing. Damien was quite happy with this arrangement but I on the other hand was just confused.

He was eighteen and already found his mate. He never told anyone about her except for me, because he wanted to show me how he cruelly rejected her because of me. But he never told me her name. Who knows maybe she's someone I know. Anyways I'm pretty sure that's the reason his wolf is always mad at me. I mean come on, Wolfy, Damien being my ass kisser isn't my fault. My dad's voice pulled me out of my train of thoughts.

"Damien from now on you both will drive to school together, I mean you both are going to the same place I don't see any problem with you two going together." My dad ordered leaving no room for objection.

"I think James is right, that way you both will spend more time together" Uncle Derek added.

"But we already spend enough time together dad, I don't know why it's necessary to spend any more time together," I said glaring

"It's okay Alex I don't have a problem with it" Damien uttered while smirking

"So it's settled then" Alpha exclaimed

After I was done with my breakfast I grabbed my backpack and went to outside where Damien white Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was waiting for me. I sat in the passenger seat and Damien was looking at me like he will eat me up any second.

"Umm I think you should look ahead if you want to reach school in one piece"

"Naa I rather look at you"

"You have your whole life for that sweetheart but right now we need to be at school in 15 minutes"

"Well I need a kiss first" I don't know why but kissing him was the last thing I wanted to do right now. So I leaned towards him and gave him a light peck on the cheek.

"You Lil minx, I didn't say where now did I?"

"Maybe next time babes"

I was the Queen Bee, the most popular and mean girl in the school but one thing was for sure that I wasn't a slut, the only guy I've ever been in a relationship with is sitting next to me and I am a virgin because Sierra would kill me if I lost that part of me to someone who's not my mate. But a lot of my people at my school believed otherwise so I just rolled with it. They think I'm not a virgin and I don't correct them I let them think whatever they want. I wanted to lose my virginity to someone who was worthy of it but looking around no one was the perfect one for me. I guess I just had really high standards. And on top of that Sierra was a total nun.

When we reached the school the first thing we noticed was the black Bugatti's La Voiture Noire parked proudly at Damien spot.

One, everyone at school knows better than to park in Damien spot.

Two, I have never seen this sexy car in our school before. So it must be someone new.

Right now beside me, Damien was furious. I put my hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Hey it's okay let's not make a big scene out of it I'm sure whoever it is, is new and don't know that it's your spot" This seemed to have him calm down a little he parked his car next to this sexy beast of a car. We got out and I walked to my locker and took out my maths book and when I felt a presence behind me. I turned around and came face to face with my two of my best friends Sophia and Iris.

Did I mention that Sophia has a giant, humongous crush on Damien and she hates me for the attention I get from him? Well now you know and Iris that girl gets a new boyfriend every week.

"God I hate maths" Sophia mumbled

"Tell me about it" Iris sighed

We were walking towards the class when I bumped into a very hard and masculine chest and fell on my butt

"Ow look where you're going" I snapped

"I'm sorry I was looking for my class, didn't see you there" When I looked up my hazel eyes met with steel grey ones and for a moment it felt like my whole world had stopped.

I took a sharp intake of breath and composed myself. He gave me his hand which I gladly took and electricity shot through my whole body with this contact and I know he felt it too because He was looking at me with such intensity and admiration. His eyes showed a way to many emotions right now.

"Are you new here" I asked

"Yeah?" he said while making me feel like the most beautiful girl on this planet with his eyes.

"Which class do you have?"

"Um maths actually"

"You're lucky because I have the same class," I said trying to ease up a little.

"Well then beautiful, lead the way" I blushed,

I, Alexa Black actually blushed and I never blush.

"I didn't catch your name"

"Alexa Black and yours?" For a second it felt like his smile faltered a little after hearing my name. His brows furrowed and he looked deep in thought. I cleared my throat to catch his attention.

"Adrian Knight" he replied The whole period he kept looking at me like he was looking into my soul. I could feel his gaze drilling holes in the side of my head.

After the bell rang, I was walking down the hallway when someone grabbed me and pushed me inside the janitors closet. The person was way too strong for me. I tried to scream but couldn't because of his hand on my mouth. Suddenly he turned on a little light hanging from the ceiling and my eyes met with sparkly blues.

"Damien, what the hell"

"Nothing just wanted to see you"

"Why? we came to school together, we live in the same fucking house Damien"

"Can't I just come to see my future wife?"

"No you can't now let go of me" His grip on my arms tightened and was almost bruising.

"Damien let go you're hurting me" Suddenly his grip loosened when he realized how tightly he was holding me

"I'm so sorry baby, I just wanted to tell something, you remember the car from the morning"

"Yeah," I said nonchalantly

"That car belongs to Adrian fucking knight the future Alpha of the Crimson Shadow Pack, our biggest rival" For the first time in my life I'm attracted to someone and he happens to be mine and my packs biggest fucking rival, sweet.
