"He what?" Annie shouted as I narrated the events of my day to her. I just

nodded as I didn't have

the emotional strength to repeat myself, I sniffed as she passed me the Kleenex

box, I blew my

nose in thanks and continue digging into my ice cream bowl, that

Audrey suggested we get at the campus ice cream parlor and she called Sally for an 'emergency intervention' her

words not mine.

"I slapped the motherfucker so hardhis face must be numb" Audrey announced

proudly.

"His beautiful face" I murmured while eating more ice cream sighed.

"I told you before men are a waste of time and energy". I was pretty sure she hadn't said anything like that, but I was not going to tell her that now.

Annie was still fuming, "I am going to kill him". She paced across the room, her sock padded feet making soft 'thud' sounds on the wood floor.

"Maybe I should give him another chance, I mean I could forgive him", I said already reaching for my phone.

Annie snatched it from me with the speed of light, and snarled at me,"Don't you ever do that".

I blinked in surprise, Annie never raised her voice at me. "Uhm ok"I answered she seemed

pleased with my answer, since she smiled at me.

"How could he do that to me?" *I thought he loved me"

The tears refused to end now, I started crying again, I can't handle water

works".

Sally rolled off the bed and landed in landed in lazy heap on the floor, cocooned in my blanket,

she raised a brow "why don't you get revenge?".

"Why didn't I think of that?, Let's plan our revenge" she grinned evilly, I was weirded out.

Audrey clapped like a child, I'm starting to rethink the choices in my friends.

They formed a circle among themselves and pushed me out of it, I tried peeking behind their

shoulder but all I got was hushed whispers, I wondered how they heard themselves. I shrugged

and went to get more ice cream and turned the TV to Netflix but my eyes strayed up to a photo on

my bedside, it was a photo of Phoenix and I, on our first date to new year carnival our school held,

it wasn't really first date material but it was more than I could ask for. In the photo we were both

smiling at me the front camera of his phone, unconsciously my hand ran through the picture,

stopping right on his cheek when I saw drops of water on the frame of the picture I was confused

until I realized my eyes were leaking again.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door of the apartment, not really in the mood to receive

any visitors I waited for my friends to open the door but they didn't even look up from their group

huddling. I groaned and shrugged whoever was there was going to take me like I am, dad in my

pygamas pants and a baggy t-shirt strained with mouth old soy sauce, in my hand a bowl of

unfinished ice cream, and my face looks far from beautiful. I opened the door and my throat ran

dry. He still looked beautiful even with puffy red eyes. Even as he came

here, I don't think he knows what to say, seeing as he is opening and closing his mouth like a

goldfish. To avoid crying i scooped more ice cream, waiting for him to talk.

"Am sorry candy crush" He sounded so sincere. I winced at the nickname,

something I used to love, because it had a story behind it. He said he had a crush on

me, and didn't know my name,finally he found out I was candy, so he called me candy crush. But today I

didn't want to hear it, I wanted to ask something else so I asked,

"Why?" Barely Audible,

"Why did you do it?"

"I really have no idea what I was doing, I don't know why I did it babe" he

replied.

I laughed, "so you just decided to cheat on me, for the fun of it? not caring about how I feel? and now you dare show your face to me?" I ranted

He ran his hand through his hair and breathed hard through his nose, something he did when he was frustrated with the situation.

"Can I at least come in?"

I gave him my deadliest glare.

"I guess not?" He questioned nervously.

"Girl, you at the door for hours now" Annie said coming towards me.

"Who is it?" She raised a perfect brow. I quickly moved to close the door,

"It's no one"

From my expression she knew who it was, in two strides she had slapped him,

"You bastard! You've got some nerve showing your face around me, have you no

shame?" She questioned, her voice laced with venom.

I just went to the fridge and got an ice pack for his face, when I came back, Annie was still cursing him out. I shoved the ice pack in his hands, he looked hopeful,

"For your face..it might bruise" I started to walk away.

"And for both our sakes.. don't ever come back" I told him. I left them at the

door, cradling my icecream.

A few minutes later, my friends came inside holding a list, I was curious.

"We are going somewhere, by the time we get back, you should be dressed" Sally

demanded.

"Where exactly are you guys going ?"

Sally rolled her eyes, "Dress normal, just get dressed, where we are going to

is none of your business, by the time we get back you should be dressed, understood?"

"Why am I getting dressed?" I asked again.

"Uggghhhh stop asking questions, you are infuriating!" Sally said frowning.

I frowned too..but nodded anyway.

"Don't ask, we will explain when we get back, but before that give

me your phone" Annie demanded.

I gave it to her, she went to contacts and deleted his number and my heart

along with it.
