Opening his eyes slightly all Bash could see was a blur version of Storm, he giggled and poked Storm's cheek , saying, "you look funny, straight man." To him the man looked like a cloud.

Storm clenched his jaws but didn't comment. Snaking his right-hand half around Bash's back, he bent and used his left hand to scoop Bash's legs and turned towards the visitor's stairs.

Bash's eyes widen but he couldn't keep them open, he punched Storm's chest feebly and muttered incoherently, " lemme go, let...go...vof...me..." Finally, he succumbed to the sleep dragging him and turned Storm's collar bones to his temporary pillow.

Storm eyed the boy sleeping peacefully in his arm and tsked. Once at Bash's front door, Storm wedged his left knee on the wall and made Bash sit on it while he ransacked his pockets for his key card. He swiped it up on the card space and it clicked. His card was the only one that could access all the doors in the house, he could have easily taken Bash's own but it was in his back pocket and Storm didn't want to touch the kid's buttocks, he was already doing too much.

After putting his card in his back pocket, Storm carried Bash in bridal style again as he used his foot to push the door. He gently placed him on the bed and straightened up his pajamas suit shirt. Looking at the boy who was snoring softly, Storm's eyebrows that were creased, loosened. He ran a hand through his hair and murmured," why am I doing this?"

"I have already started, I should finish it, "Storm conceded and sighed. With one knee on the bed, he bent and took off Bash's sneakers and pulled the duvet from under his body, and covered him. "I didn't sign up for this..."he complained, "I wonder why you were Roseline's favorite ."

Sighing again, Storm turned to leave but his foot accidentally bumped a cup of paintbrushes. He cursed inwardly and bent down to gather the brushes, "so disorganized," he said but paused when he flipped the pieces of two plain whiteboards, "I have got to hand it to him, he is quite talented ...but this would never be us, "he added as he stared at the drawing Bash did .

Picking a pen, he wrote down sometime on it then strolled to Bash's nightstand and pushed it slightly under the lamp.

After turning off the lights, Storm held the door half open and glanced at Bash, who was mumbling something in his sleep, and his lips unconsciously curled to a corner before he closed the door quietly.

James walked to the living room where a young girl dressed in office wears was seated and bitting her nails. He adjusted his already fitted bow tie and coughed to get her attention. "Maggie please come and have breakfast,"He said with a smile that surpasses his face smiling capacity.

The woman named Maggie stopped bitting her nails and beamed at James , saying with a refined British accent, "am okay don't worry about me."

"Nonsense, you must eat something before you travel, boss's orders,"James implored.

Pushing her round medicayed glasses back, Maggie rose to her feet, "if it's the boss's orders then who am to refuse,"She muttered and hung her hand bag on her shoulders, honestly , she was indeed hungry but was just trying to be cultured.

James's joy knew no bounds as he led her to the dining area, if he could jump he would have done it but that would just be awkward. After she sat , he served her personally, an act he only did for Storm. She smiled at him, the food he gave her was a bit much , "thank you James this is too much, "she said.

She was already used to James's five star treatment and so was unbothered by his 'kindness'. He has been in love with her for years but the love is unrequited. He still refused to stop trying even though she had turned down his offer a thousand times.

Maggie is a biracial mid easterner whose mother is British, she grew up in London but came to settle in Maslles country because of her job. She was beautiful woman in her late twenties, she didn't wear classy clothes but always attracted the attention of the opposite sex.

Seeing that Maggie wolfing down her food hurriedly , James patted her shoulder , saying, "My beautiful Maggie, please take your time."

Maggie lifted her head and looked at James , although the man works with her boss he seems to still be obvious of his timing, "if Mr.Storm asked you to give me breakfast it means he would be down in twenty minutes except he is yet to eat. Is he ?" She asked , already guessing the answer. Having worked with Storm for years, she had already mastered his schedule.

Scratching his head, James said, "emmmh, I sent his breakfast up to him twenty-five minutes ago."

Maggie shook her head slightly with a smile, "I have only 15 minutes to finish eating,"turning her head to the door of the dining room where a male servant stood, she called out to him , muttering, "Roland would you be kind enough to inform me when the boss is coming down his stairs?"

"Of course Miss Maggie, I'll inform you when he does," Roland said with a vibrant smile that hyped his dimples.

James glared at him and shooed him away with the wave of his hand , leaving, Roland rolled his eyes when he was out of sight, he knew James felt threatened by him since he is young and more handsome but what the poor guy didn't is that he has a fiancee.

Roland came back to the dining after ten minutes and said, "the boss is coming down the stairs miss Mags."

Maggie simpered , "thanks Roland." Rising to her feet, she hung her bag and faced James who was sitting then muttered, "thanks for the meal ,it was delicious as always."

James felt his heart flutter and he gripped his chest as Maggie walked out of the dining room. Smiling sheepishly he said and sighed afterwards, "you will be mine soon."

Seeing Storm already near the front door, Maggie hasten her footsteps and made it in time as his bodyguard opens the door for him. Pulling the bag his was holding from his grip, she said, "good morning boss."

Storm released the bag that contained his MacBook to her and responded, "Good morning Margret, I hope everything is set."

"Yes sir, everything is ready,"Maggie replied as they strolled to a black SUV parked in front of the mansion.

For the sake of Storm's protection, one SUV was in front of the the one he was in and one was behind it. Resting his head on the chair, Storm shut his eyes to sleep. Maggie tilted her head and stared at him with squinted eyes, Storm always enjoyed when she gave him statistics report in the car. ' What kept you wake that you didn't sleep properly, I wonder. '
