Aaron's POV

"Sir we've arrived at the hospital" my driver spoke making me awake from my long lasting thought. I Arrived Nigeria an hour ago and i am presently at the hospital where my mum is kept.

I walked into the hospital and asked the nurse at the counter where I'll find my mum and she said room 106, so I walked in full speed to room 106. I didn't get there with much difficulty because the room was in the first floor.

When i arrived at the room, i saw my mum was lying unconscious, she was looking lifeless and pale and to her left side was khairs mum who was seated on a chair close to her.

"Aaron thank God you are here" khairs mum said while wiping the tears on her cheeks.

"Yes umma I'm here now and how's she now" i asked while staring at my mum.

"She's still in a coma, the doctor said that her brain shut down and that's why she's in this state" she said and my legs became weak and I almost fell to the ground but thankfully i gripped the chair besides me.

"Where's the doctor now?"  I asked.

"She's in her office" she said and i nodded.

"OK, I'll go speak to her, there ought to be a way of saving my mum" I said.

"I pray so" khair's mum said and i nodded with a smile before leaving for the doctors office which i didn't find hard to locate.

"Asalamualaikum" I said as i walked into the well furnished office.

'Walaikumussalam" she responded with a very beautiful smile gracing her lips.

"Doctor I'm kamila musas son" with that said by me, she immediately made me take seat which i did unhesitatingly.

"Uhm... Your mum's health is getting worse and I advice you fly her abroad for her treatment or else you might lose her" the doctor said the minute we both settled down.

"But doctor what caused this sudden coma" I asked in a shaky voice.

"Its anger,  someone might had said something hurtful to her. And according to the test we ran on her brain, it shut down. so I'm not sure she'll recover but you can fly her abroad and everything might be back to normal inshaAllah" she said and I just nodded with a fake smile.

Khair what have you done? I won't spare her for all this, I thought as I left the doctors office for my mums room. I spoke to doctor malik and suggested we fly her to india. so that's what I'm working on now . I've already booked an emergency flight for her and she'll be flown to India by tomorrow insha Allah.

I walked into my mum's room and laid my head on her lap, hoping that maybe she'll move or wake up. I cried helplessly, this was all khairs fault and I promise she shall pay.

"A...a...a...Aaron" i heard my mum's voice and I got up in shock and happiness.

"Ummie" I yelled happily.

"Ina khairy (where's khair)" she asked.

"Na barta ah London (I left her at London)" i said nonchalantly.

"Meyasa baka kaawo ta bah (why didn't you bring her?)" she spoke softly.

"Bata San nazo Nigeria bah  (she isn't aware of my trip to Nigeria)" I lied in other to cover up.

"Call her to come" she said and i nodded. I was about to dial khairs number when suddenly I heard a feminine voice which I'll never fail to make out.

"Mumy" She said whilst runnig and hugging my mum tightly.

"Khair my dear I'm glad to see you here" my mum said as she hugs khair in the same mannerism as hers.

"Khair when did you arrive here? I asked angrily forgetting about my mum's presence.

"Uhm... Yaya salman bought me a ticket back to Nigeria" she couldn't look me in tbe eyes as she spoke.

"You didn't ask for my permission" i said.

"Aaron keep shut, she's your wife and the important thing is that she arrived safely" my mum said making me lower my gaze in shame.

When i saw that I wasn't needed, i decided to leave for the doctors office.

"Doctor, how did my mum wake up" i said while gently seating on the chair before her.

"Well Mr Aaron i was just going through her files and I saw that she only had a temporary brain shut down. But if she gets to Anger again I'm sorry but i don't think you'll be able to save her" the doctor said and i simply nodded.

"inshaAllah I'll make sure this doesn't happen again" I said and she smiled. She prescribed some drugs so I decided to get them

Soon I had gotten the medicine so I decided to check on my mum and to my to surprise, My mum, khair and khairs mum were asleep so I tip toed and woke khair up by grabbing her hand roughly.

"Get up" I said whilst pulling her hand.  she got up and I took her to the parking lot were I pushed her against a car roughly.

"You are here to kill her Huh? Aren't you happy? You want her dead right" i said, i was at the verge of slapping her.

"Sorry, I was only only curious and I wanted to know how.." I cut her right off with my statement.

"Oh you wanted to confirm if she's dead right? Well sorry to burst your bubble, she's alive and believe me when i say that if my mum is hurt in anyway you'll pay. I'll make sure you follow her to where you've sent her" with that said, i left. Leaving her in great shock.
