Murder and Reincarnation

I’m Mila Huston, I’m 25 years old & I am a crime investigator I have investigated many cases. I love my job & I do my job very truthfully, but last few months I couldn’t able to focus on my job due to some problems I have been facing. I am having some nightmares, at first, I wasn’t thought of it that much but it then it became as in my daily routine, in the dream I can hear a mans’ voice but can’t see him clearly as my vision was blurry in my dream which was so weird, then I heard a woman voice who was keep calling me Lia & after that, I would hear some strange terrifying sound which wakes me from my nightmares. I didn’t understand what was wrong with me, on the following day at the office I was restless & distracted that my colleague crystal asked me what's wrong I said nothing and that’s when I received a new case as I was not feeling good I said I can’t do this case & was about to walk out, I heard that name, Lia! Which made me shock & I asked crystal sceptically “who is Lia!” “ Lia Davis, she is the girl who has been murdered mysteriously 25 years ago her body was found at the basement of her house, Lia‘s case was closed after 1 year as the police didn’t find anything about the murderer, and her family didn’t show any interest in her case. Now one of her family members requested to reopen this case as they find some clue related to Lia‘s murder” said crystal. “How did she die?” I asked, “well Someone strangled & stabbed her,” said crystal “give me more information about her” I exclaimed “um just now you said you don’t want to be in this case, what makes you change your mind?” asked crystal. “I don’t know, there is something in this case which attracts me towards it and now I want to investigate this case and bring the truth to the light So, I’m on to this case; now listen to me, I want you to be my partner in this case & you will select the rest of the people for the case. I want the list in half in hours because we are going to start our investigating from today onward” I said. “Okay then I’ll be back with list” said crystal. After Crystal left the room again I felt something unnatural I don’t know if this Lia is the same person in my dream, or I’m just being paranoid about it. then few minutes later I fall asleep & I was dreaming again but this time it was different, usually I won’t able to see anything only I can hear the voices in the dream but today I could see everything in the dream; I saw an old lady saying something about finding the truth when I asked what truth then the old lady suddenly stopped talking and was staring at me, I kept asking her, but she didn’t say anything then she started screaming & calling me Lia! And again that strange sound, and I woke up terrified and that’s when crystal came with the team & said the team is ready Mila. Then I asked crystal to bring the old investigated files of Lia Davis, later she came with the files and I started searching her photo in that file which leaves me clueless as I didn’t find photo then I asked crystal, “ crystal where is the file which contains her picture, date of death? And also where is her autopsy report!” “Um, Mila as you know that these files are very old, so I guess the missing files got mixed up with some other case file” said crystal.
