I had fun with Casey yesterday,just watching tv with him cuddling up against me. I had no problem with it,in fact I laid him down on my chest when he fell asleep, he seems like the kind that cuddles a lot and stick to you like glue.It didn't bother me that he was deaf and I had to talk slow,it was kind of nice...well that he talk so cute and how he pout when I talked too fast. I told Sidney that I would be carrying Casey to school today.Forget about Apple.

Speaking of the devil.My phone rang.

"Yea" . I sighed

"You better be here early!"

"You have a car right?" I ask

"Yea so?".

"Drive it!"

I hang up and took up my bag,heading downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen sipping her coffee. I made toast and pour some coffee for me.

"I don't see you hurrying to pick up Apple". She raise a brow.

"No I'm taking Casey to school today, I was thinking I should break up with Apple".

"Yea, it's about damn time and date Casey".

"Mom! language and what?".

"Casey is a nice boy". She shrug.

"I'm not gay". I roll my eyes.

"Then why all of a sudden you want to leave Apple?".

I didn't have an answer for that so I replied with the same thing.

"I'm not gay".

"Didn't seem like it when you had him sleeping in your arms yesterday". She sip her coffee.

I roll my eyes and put down my cup.

"Later!".

I walked out the door and went over to Casey's, I knock on the door and Sidney answered.

"Hey Malik,Casey will be down in a bit,he still thinks I'm taking him to school.".

She press a button on the pendent around her neck and then footstep came running down the stairs.I looked at her confuse.

"It's a buzzer, I press it and the band on his wrist vibrate telling him I'm calling him".

I nod understanding.Casey came down stairs with a smile on his face, when he saw me he looked confuse and it was also cute when he's confuse. Tilting his head to the side he look so adorable. His mom began signing and then Casey signed back. When they were done he turn and smiling to me.I took his hand and led him out the house.

"Take care of my boy!" Sidney called.

"I will".

I went to my car and open the door for him,he got in and I close it.Going to my side I got in and  headed to school.

I parked beside Dale's car, he was sitting on the front.He looked at me confuse when we got out of the car.

"He's my new neighbor ". I smile.

He smile and waved at Casey who waved back.

We walked into school,Casey in the middle of Dale and I. We met our friends in the hall way where we stop and talked.

"Preston who's this?" One of my friends Tyriece ask.

"He's new,his name is Casey ".

" Oh hey dude". Tyriece said

He then looked at me confuse with the rest when Casey didn't even look at them.

"He's deaf". I said a little annoyed.

They all went ohh but went to something else.

"Did you watch the game last night?"

Casey had most class with Dale and i except for gym, when he's at gym I'm doing sociology.

We sat at the front talking while we waited for the teacher, the door open and the wrong person came in.

"Why the hell didn't you pick me up?"Apple cross her arms, her two followers behind her.

"I didn't want to ". I huff.

Casey looking confuse as ever while Dale just glare at Apple.

"That's not an excuse,if you don't give me an answer then-".

"She'll break up with you". The blonde,Alice beside her said.

"Big time." The brunette Kayla said

"Right here". The Alice said again

"Right now". Apple finished

"Then you won't get an answer". I smirk.

"Baby".Apple cooed and sat on my desk.

"You're cute when you're trying to be serious". She pat my head and kiss my cheek, going to the back with her friends.

Dale glared at me while Casey brush it off seeing he couldn't keep up.

"I don't see why you're still with the bitch".Dale huff.

"Bitch?" Casey repeat catching my attention.

"No don't say that".I told him.

"No?" He ask and Dale snickered.

"No". I told him again and he nod taking out his phone.

"I will break up with her".I told Dale

"Why not now".

"People will get curious,all of a sudden the captain on the football team, the most popular jock in school broke up with the captain of the cheerleading team the most popular girl in school".

"So?"

"So? I don't want people talking about me".

"What's worst? gossip or being in a relationship you're not happy in".

"I...I-...I will".

He sighed and decided to talk to Casey, clearly upset with me.

When it was lunch time it was only Casey, Dale and I outside.

"So when you break up with Apple who are you going to next?".Dale ask

"Don't answer that,I already know".Dale Ruffles Casey's hair causing him to look at him confuse.

"I'm not gay dude plus I only think of Casey as a friend,nothing more".

"An all of a sudden kind, loving, overprotective gay friend". Dale smile and I glare.

"I'm not gay, how many time do I have to tell you?"

"Whatever you say".

I roll my eyes turning to Casey.

"What are you playing?" I touch him and ask

"Pac man,it my favorite game,mommy teach me". He smile going back to his game.

"He haven't had much experience in talking,that's why he still talks like a child". I explained to Dale when he gave me a confuse look,that was the most words he had ever heard Casey say.

"Seriously don't you think of Casey as anything else".

"Nope".

"Well no friend acts like this to a person,especially when they're both guys".

"I just feel like I should protect him,guide him and care for him...love him".
