He is grining at me like a cat that has just finished eating a canary since I just acknowledged it to him. He is grinning so broadly it seems like he just finished eating a canary. I came to the conclusion that it would be best not to give him the details since they had nothing to do with him or the issues he had. I only need the money and a commitment from a decent guy that I will be able to pay him back once I sell my house. Other than that, I don't need much. I have it on good authority from Michael that picking Aiden was the best option.
"That bruise is going down into your cheekbone, and it's just next to your right eye...
" "That bruise is going down into your cheekbone..." Aiden answers, nodding at me. "It doesn't seem like you're doing a very good job of hiding it. My first thought is that someone is trying to get a lady's attention by warning her that the time limit has passed and that things will become worse if she does not pay if I hear that a lady has been abused and that she is in need of money. This is my initial thought when I hear that a lady has been abused and that she is in need of money. The second possibility would have been that you are an abused woman who is in need of money to get away from whatever is hurting her, but you give off the impression that you are too self-confident for that to be a possibility.
Okay, so he has me pegged to some extent, but he has no clue how peculiar the concept of a "loan shark" really is.
It is hard for him to comprehend how deep of a hole I have dug for myself, and he most definitely would not understand the circumstances that have prompted me to beg for aid in this particular situation.
When the loan was first taken out, how much money did it cost?
Aiden asks. I let him know that the total is thirteen thousand dollars in the conversation.
I was allowed to use the number thirteen.
At this moment, I am responsible for a payment as well as interest that totals twenty-five dollars. However, I was in serious need of that money, and I was willing to do whatever in order to get it, so I don't hold any of this against anybody. The fact that the sale of my house fell through and that I was unable to access the equity in the property in order to pay off the loan did not cause my lender a great deal of anxiety. My lender was not really worried about either of these events. After he had caught up with me and roughed me up, he gave me one last deadline that I had to reach in order to avoid being disciplined even more harshly than I already was.
It was a race against time for me to get the money within the given period of time; if I failed to do so, my bullet-riddled body would be placed in the Nevada desert for coyotes to tear apart.
Although it is true that this is an exaggeration, I don't want to push him any more than I already have since I don't want to make things worse. I want him to be entirely gone from my life as soon as possible.
I am throwing all of my hopes and resources into the hands of Aiden Noah and crossing my fingers that he will be able to rescue me from this predicament by devising a method of payment that is acceptable.
Because Michael gave me the impression that he was certain that he would lend me the money with simple payback conditions and a much cheaper interest rate, I'm going to assume that he is an honest person. This is due to the fact that Michael gave me the impression that he was certain that he would lend me the money.
