Love found in remarriage

He looked through the glass wall of his cabin that was facing the beautiful city of Mumbai. A smile he didn't know his lip was twisting upwards appeared on his always blank, cold face. He did smile unknowingly, remembering the days he and his love of his life, his wife, his Divya, talked of looking through the glass wall of his office in each others arms. his eyes gave way to a tear drop to slid down his cheek and the to his chin. But why did she have to leave him before what they dreamed of, happen? She promised him that she would never leave her. but why? he turned around and walked to his table and found their marriage photo. he picked it up and whispered, "why did you have to leave me? our daughter? us? I miss you... please come back"Deep inside he knew there was no way she can come back but still he hoped for a miracle like his daughter used to ask him when her fairy god mother will come and take her to his prince. He heard a knock at the door and soon he came back to his usual way of demeanour. "Come in"he said and in came his brother, Rohan. "bhai... what are you still doing at the office? you do remember that your getting married today, right?" Ayush glared at him and said,"Did I say that I want to get married?" Rohan knew his brother well and he kept silent for a few minutes before saying,"you don't, but Disha does want this marriage to happen and she do want a mother in her life."

Ayush wore his coat, took his bag and walked out his cabin and down to the car park in his private elevator. As soon as Rohan found his brother getting in the car, he followed behind his brother's car in his own car. Ayush knew his brother was following him, he just let it be and drove straight to the registrar office. He remembered the day he and his Divya got married. Not so grand but, all the people they wanted there was present. He felt an urge to cancel all this marriage thin, but his mother's words began to ring,"I don't know how long I'm going to be alive. I will look after Disha until I'm alive but after that? you can never fill the space of a mother. She needs a mother for good sake."He shook his head and by the time he had already reached his destination. He exited his car and walked towards the entrance not before Rohan too exited his car. They walked inside and found their mother, sister and another elderly women with a young girl in her mid twenties by her side looking stunning in her lemon color saree. There stood another man who was whispering something in this girl's ear and she looked calm after that.

"Here they're"said Mrs.Sharanya, Ayush's mom. And all heads turned towards them except for that girl. Ayush cleared hïs throat and said,"Let's get done with this stuff"he walked towards the officer and asked,"How long will it take?"Ayush's mom pulled him by his arm and said,"can you please let him do his work?" He kept quiet later, but not without his mother's glare. It's not that he's scared of his mother, It's that he doesn't want to create a scene. He felt someone's presence next to him after a while and they were asked to sign the papers before exchanging garlands and when the time to tie the nuptial chain, both their eyes locked and he could see her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Soon they were announced as husband and wife. they exchanged pleasant wishes and finally, it was time for them to leave.

"Aunty, I have to go bring Nikil from the nursery. If you don't mind..."she trailed off and Ayush's mother was about to speak when Rishan interrupted,Ï'll bring him"She nodded and they were both made to travel together. The journey was totally in silence except for the honks in the famous Mumbai traffic. They both reached the mansion where Ayush lives, and before she could get out the car, he said,"I need a minute"she turned to face him and gave a confused look before Ayush continued,"my request is also same as yours. We will be a couple in the world's eye and parents for the kids, in real". She gave a perfect real smile and said,"Thank you so much. Till now, I was thinking you didn't get my letter. Once again, Thanks" she said and when he didn't reply anything, she got out to the entrance of the house. Here, Ayush was shocked. He had thought this girl was not serious of the letter and he had judged her as a good actor but a part of him felt at peace after hearing her reply.

"welcome home... mummy"said Disha hugging Ananya in a bear hug. Disha turned 10 last week but, as usual it wasn't celebrated and Dish didn't even know it was her birthday. the right way to put it is that she was not told when her birthday is and she didn't know what actually a birthday is.

Ayush felt happy seeing her daughter happy. A part of him was still not at peace seeing her with another women who'll be addressed as her mother from now. He prayed in his heart and did whatever his mother wanted him to do according to the culture. "so... Disha? Should we go on a drive... and then, cinema, after that, ice cream and a stay at Dadi's." Disha squealed hearing her uncle giving her a fun time after long long time after his return from America.

Ayush didn't want to spoil her mood, so he just said,"don't forget that daddy will be waiting for you."she hugged Ayush and Ananya before leaving with her uncle and dadi. Ananya changed into comfortable clothes and called Rishaan to know where Nikil was. "Hello, Rish? where's Nikil?" she asked not letting him to even say a hello. "calm down Anna, he's with me and Rohan. we both are taking Disha and Nikil on a drive since it's Saturday tomorrow." she sighed and turned around to find Ayush nowhere in the room. she walked up the stairs where she assumed the room will be at. She was feeling nervous all of a sudden. she opened two rooms and didn't find her luggages in there. She opened the last door and she smiled a little finding her suitcase in there. she walked inside and she observed he interior and found it very much attractive. she walked out to the balcony and noticed it was a mini outdoor bedroom. she found a small cozy couch and a swing. here were few plants and she could feel the smell hitting her nostrils and the shiver that went through her spine.

she was lost in the beauty of this place when she heard the door sound and turned back only to cover her eyes and turn around to face the balcony side. Ï'm really sorry. I didn't know this was your room. I saw my luggage in here, and assumed I'll be staying in, here."she mumbled and walked out the room in long strides. She took deep breathes to control her racing heart.

Later that day, Ayush showed her a room right next to his and was told she can stay there. It was a very tiring day that they both dozed off to sleep as soon as they hit the bed...
