FARHANNA'S POV

The two hours drive to my school brimmed with mallan Mudi's propitious words of advice.

We arrived in no time to the eminent Nile. The school was vast with so many beautiful buildings.

Mallan mudi dropped me at my department and drove off. I wasted no time in getting my schedule for the semester.

As I was heading to class I bumped into a girl. "Sorry"she said with embarrassment.

"No...it's okay"I said helping her with her books that fell on the floor.

"Do you know where i could find the microbiology department?, please"she asked.

I escorted her to her department, Because she was new to the school.

"Thank you, I'm Layla Aliyu Arab by the way" She said bringing  her hands forward for a hand shake.

"I'm Farhanna Abubakar Maigoro, nice to meet you"I said while shaking her hands.

"Well I should get going"she said.

"I guess...I'll see you around"I said while walking away.

As I made my way through the corridor I saw Rahama(my besty).

"Farhanna!I've been waiting for you for like 30 minutes, where the hell did you go to?"she said with annoyance.

"I'm sorry, I bumped into some girl on my way" I explained.

"Okay fine I forgive you, but let's head to class it's getting late"she said while dragging me to class.

  The cafeteria was filled with a lot of student. Rahmah and I made our way through the crowd to find a table to sit,  but we couldn't find an empty table until I spotted layla who was waving her hands at us. I quickly dragged Rahmah to the table.

"Hi, Layla"I said with a kind gesture.

"Hello Farhanna"she said while looking at Rahmah.

"Oh!this is my friend Rahmah, and Rahmah this is layla"I said  introduce them to each other.

"I'm hurt that you didn't introduce me as a friend" Layla said, faking hurt.

All of us bust into fits of laughter due to Layla's drama.

"Layla your a drama queen"I said while eating my apple.

"That...I am"she said, as we all munch on our food.

 Afterour lectures for the day, Layla offered to take me cox mallan mudi was no where to be found.

"Thanks for the ride layla"I said as I got off the car.

"It's nothing, can I have your phone number?" She asked while handing her phone to me.

I typed my number and passed her the phone"Here you go"I said.

"Thank you, I guess I'll see you tomorrow"she said and I nodded and with that, the driver, drove off.

    "Salamu Alaikum Umma, I'm home"I semi yelled and headed to the kitchen.

"To sanun ki da dawo wa, ya makarantan(you're welcome back, how was school?)"umma asked while washing the vegetables.

"Fine Allhamdullila"I said while hugging her from behind.

"Okay go and freshen up and join me, cox they might be here any moment from now"she said.

"Toh Umma"I replied and made my way to my room.

I opened my door, and what I saw made me scream with excitement ...
