Ghosties comment please.

After the gatekeeper's event, Halimah began to distance her self from Fatiyya even though it was almost unnoticed. She just couldn't sum things up. Fatiyya had refused to say who was it even though she had been beaten blue black.

Being the weekend, she and Khadijah decided to visit home for the first time since they got married. Everytime they told their Mama they wanted to come home she would say they should stay at thier homes and if they dared come they would face her wrath.

But today whether she liked it or not they must go. A wide smile was plastered on her face since she woke up.

Home sweet home.

"Yes, just be ready in few minutes i will come and pick you." Halimah spoke to Khadijah and dropped the phone.

She checked everywhere and made sure everything was intact. She arranged Justice's food on the table and went inside her room to get ready.

Few minutes later, she was set and ready. She brought out a paper and wrote in calligraphy. She smiled and dropped it. Locked the house and left.

"Dee you said your husband is at home. Right?" Halimah asked while she roamed about dee's house.

"Mrs investigator! What went wrong in my house" Dee lamented.

"Just doing some sanitation check in my elder sister's house." Halimah answered opening dee's drawer.

"Ya Allah. What is the meaning of this Dee. Look at your clothes un arranged. Look at his own too. Which type of wife are you?" Halimah pat her.

"You won't understand leelee. Morning sickness and all. This pregnancy is what triggers everything." Dee replied.

"Keep blaming the poor thing. When Khalifah decides to bring another wife you will understand. That should never be an excuse sister!"

"Will you keep shut? Who's the older one here? Dallah can (come on) let's go." Dee said wrapping her veil around her head.

"Did you cook for him?"

"No if he comes back he will go to the nearby restaurant and buy food. I don't have problem with him." Dee pouted.

Halimah kept quiet for a second and rolled her eyes. "Its okay then." She dropped the topic. She knew if she talk, there would be a brawl at the end which will ruin her day.

Her phone buzzed and a message pop.

'I won't be back home soon hun. When you finish alert me i will come and take you—mi hero'

She smile and smiled again and replied him.

"Let's go now" dee barked and halima only looked at dee's scowled expression.

"What is it? Sister" Halimah queried.

"Khalifah told me that one of his sister is coming to stay with us—she would stay with us till she finishes her school." Khadijah frowned.

"Then what's the problem? Why are you deranged?"

"I just don't like it leelee. She's staying for good four years; that's too much."

"I know right. You are not supposed to show him you are not happy—she's his blood. Your in-law and of course he would love her more than you;the same way you love me more than him." Halimah winked to slacken the emanation.

"Okay then. I will apologize to him let's go." They stood up and irrupted into Halimah's EOD.

Halimah got under the wheel and they drove to their parent's house; which was located at Nasarawa GRA close to the hospital.

On their way, they stopped at grand square:bought ice-cream for their ten year old brother and some few items from the store to the older ones.

"Assalamu Alaykum," they both yelled and ran into the house. Halimah walked straight to their baba's room and started banging the door like a child.

Khadijah bumped into mama on her way to the kitchen. She hugged her so tight" I missed you so much mama."

"Leave me please Dee. Is this the bone crushing hug you talked about? Ohh you just crushed my bone marrow."

They laughed and settled down.

"Baba i am home!" Halimah started jumping and he opened the door scratching his eyes—he was having a catnap.

"My baby!" He beamed and she hugged him while dragging him to the parlour.

"So you came too? It's your father you know right? It's okay Lee." Mama ployed.

"No mama you know i love you too." Halimah hugged her.

"Where's muneef? Abdul? Farouq?and aymaana" Halimah asked looking at every corner.

"Abdul took them out. They would be back soon" baba answered and they kept conversing—it's obvious they missed each other.

Hours later, justice came in his car to picked halima while dee droved halima's car. They left after dinning with their family. Baba promised to buy dee a car soon. While mama kept advising them over and over again. They left while she stared at them proudly.

"Welcome to my home." Dee welcomed Zainab—Khalifa's sister.

"Thank you," she smiled. Dee stood up to enter her room. She missed her step and mistakenly stepped on zainab's foot.

"Wayyo Allah na. Yaya zata kashe ni. Na shiga uku(oh my God! Bro she will kill me. I am doomed)." Zainab shouted and khalifa came out fast.

"She stepped on my leg!" She cried.

'Oh a spoilt child' Dee thought.

"Are you out of you sense? I said are you mad khadijah?"

He slapped her.
