The Evening Furore

Once upstairs, Lacey locked the door to her room and couldn't wait to dial over to Carol a few beeps later.

"Carol, I saw Jax again!" She couldn't hide her excitement.

Carol was wearing her face mask, and her tone was flat, "You told me you went to your house at noon."

Lacey looked at the chandelier above her head as if she was thinking back, "No, I met up again at night."

Carol glanced at her phone on the table, "Your brother called him over for dinner again?"

"No! I ran into him at night at a class reunion, and he's still at my house." She spoke several decibels lower, probably afraid Jax downstairs would hear her.

Carol grabbed the phone, her phoenix eyes widening as she blurted out incredulously, "What? You met him again at night, you're stepping on shit!"

Lacey contemptuously skimmed her mouth, "Are you evil or not? How can words come out of your mouth and change the flavour? This is called peach blossom luck; I'm destined for peach blossom this year."

"I'm telling you, at the restaurant today, Jax was so handsome. I tweeted him for help, and he dropped his friends and ran over ..."

Lacey was still telling Carol about what happened at the restaurant that night when Rick shouted downstairs, "Lacey, Jax is going back. Aren't you coming down to see him off?"

When she heard that, she was busy jumping from the bed and hurriedly into the phone, "Jax is leaving; I won't talk to you first; let's WeChat about it tonight."

Hanging up the phone, she thumped down from upstairs, this eager look, afraid of missing the last side of tonight!

Blah, blah, blah! That's unlucky, but that's what she thought.

Looking at her eagerness, Jack joked, "Why are you running so fast? You don't want to let anyone go back! That's fine; let Jia stay here tonight!"

Lacey was so happy; she almost said "yes".

Jax reacted quickly and took over, "Lacey has a sense of humour and likes to joke around with her sister. I must return; the broadcast is late tonight, and I can't break our contract."

Jack smiled brightly and patted him on the shoulder, "Right, right, Jax anchor is very honest; this point, I don't worry. Lacey, you learn well from Xiao Jia. Don't water me down over anything."

Lacey stretched out her little pink tongue and made a sound and cute appearance.

This was an inconspicuous small action, but Jax's slightly stable heart hooked up again, turning into a heartfelt smile.

Jack's Mercedes Benz commercial car was waiting outside the door; Jax and their brother and sister were two people after saying goodbye but did not forget to look at Lacey. Two more eyes and four eyes are a bit fond of each other.

"The car's out of sight, and you're still looking at it!" Jack stretched out his five fingers and waved them before her eyes, "If you want to see it, go back and watch the live broadcast."

Lacey's face reddened again, but it was hidden by the dimness of the night, and she grunted through her nose, "Who wants to watch him live!"

"I also don't know who peeps at it every day and gives people a reward," Jack spoke conspiratorially, looking at the stars in the sky.

"Brother, you know all about it!" Lacey discovered the secret and instantly shrivelled up like a deflated leather ball.

"Of course, you think, brother, I'm blind and can't see who's living on your phone!" Jack heatedly laughed and went inside.

Jax returned to the rental room and immediately went online to start the live broadcast.

"Guys, I'm sorry, I'm late today because of something!"

On the pop-up screen: Hubby's here, roar...not too late, not too late, I just got out of the shower...I've already warmed up the bed; it's just you...

Lacey had just entered the live room when she saw the flurry of pop-ups swiping the screen, and she sent one over as well.

"Jax, you're home! Thank you so much for tonight!"

On the pop-up screen: what are you fuming about upstairs...what do you mean thank you for tonight? What did you do...hubby, what did you do with that Lok Lok...hubby, you cheated on me., oooh ...

The pop-up screen rioted because of Lacey's sentence; the screen was full of interrogative comments, the live room was full of anger and sorrow, and Jax began to panic.

"Guys, what's wrong with you? Why are you all suddenly pointing the finger at Lacey?" he asked, unable to stop himself from looking at the constantly refreshing pop-ups.

Thus, the female fans again screened the sentence Lacey had just posted.

Lacey was also dumbfounded; she didn't expect her sentence of thanks to cause such a big commotion; she was a bit flustered, bewildered and didn't know what to do.

At this time, Carol's phone call happened to call, "Lacey, how are you doing? All the comments in the One Sighting livestream were directed at you. Are you alright!"

"I'm fine, but I don't know what to do; it's all my fault for being so reckless!" Lacey was now chagrined and just wanted to find a crack in the ground.

"Don't worry; it's just a sentence; after a while, everyone will forget about it; you switch off the live broadcast first, out of sight, out of mind; don't let these insignificant people affect your good mood today ..."

Carol's patient persuasion so that Lacey's flustered heart could calm down a little.

"Ding", a light ring, just hung. Up. The phone screen once again lit up, and someone sent WeChat.

Lacey picked up her mobile phone and opened Jax's handsome face, the person who sent the message was Jax!

Isn't he on the air? Lacey was puzzled and clicked on the chat box.

Jax: Lacey, is that Lulu in my living room? You?

Lacey hesitated for five minutes before replying: It's me. I'm sorry I caused you trouble.

The first thing that came to Jax's mind when he received the reply was the three aeroplanes per day and a few words of concern.

This girl can hide from me for so many days; hold in my heart not to say is not difficult? His heart was touched for a while; he was just about to give her the phone, but unfortunately, he only added WeChat and did not remember to ask for the phone number.

He thought momentarily and sent her a voice: Lacey, no, should be called Luolu. I like this nickname; thank you for so long silent attention to me and sending me a plane, but I did not know it was you until now; it's all because I'm too obtuse and did not find out early. Luolu is you; I'm very touched! Don't reward me in the future; I am satisfied with this heart.

After saying this, he added another text: don't worry! I'll solve tonight's problem and ensure you get a solid night's sleep.

Lacey listened attentively to every word Jax said, and her little brain started making wild guesses again.

Like me as a nickname? Does that mean, like me ... don't let me reward you? I don't!

She re-entered Jax's live room, and at that moment, he was starting to explain the comment that Lacey had posted.

"Guys, that comment that Lok posted doesn't mean anything else; please don't misinterpret it; it's an advert slogan for the candy group I'm taking on - thank you tonight! Eating this Yixin lollipop makes my heart so sweet!"

"Falling is an employee of the Candy Group, specialising in advertising planning; this jingle is what we finalised tonight; the Yixin lollipop is indeed delicious; welcome to taste it, little ones. Click on the link below to buy it, and I'll also give you a signed photo of me!"

After Jax's explanation, especially regarding the complimentary signature photo, most female fans in the live broadcast room instantly focused on the image, and no one paid any more attention to the farce.

Not only had the topic been diverted in just a few minutes, but several thousand boxes of lollipops were also sold out.

Jax, you're amazing! I'll be able to sleep beautifully tonight.

Whoosh! Three aeroplanes swept across the screen straight into the clouds!
