Three

I barely got my iPhone 8 plus, I had been saving up for months and last month I was finally able to buy it. I didn't want to let my brothers buy it for me because I wanted to feel like I earned it.

"I'm ready." I announce as I rush into the kitchen. Casper already has breakfast ready for us.

"Good morning, Bro."

I grab my stack of pancakes as we wait for Cyrus and Cecil.

"Don't forget that after school you have your two hour session with Alec."

I nob as he reminds me.

Cecil and Cyrus soon join us and we quickly finish our pancakes.

Cecil and I head out the front door after saying our goodbyes.

"Bro, I'm taking my car because I have my session with Alec after school."

"Okay, see you at school, then."

Cecil drives off first since his car is behind his. His car is the same as mine but black.

It takes us 27 minutes to arrive at Rio High School. Which I like to call Hell.

I park next to Cecil.

Since we got our schedule in the mail two weeks ago, all we need to do is wait for the bell to ring in twelve minutes or so.

"I'm going to chat with my friends. Will you be alright by yourself?" Cecil asks.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. See you in class."

I watch as he jogs over to his basketball friends.

Cecil has a passion for basketball; just how I have a passion for photography. He even taught me how to play and now I'm as great as him at it.

My brothers may be popular but I choose not to be. I don't like the attention and drama.

Yeah, some guys might hit on me but I ignore them. I've never been one for crowds and socailizing. I like to stick to myself.

I walk over to a table under a tree that is far away from other students.

I pull out my phone and plug in my SkullCandy earphones. 'Open Up Your Eyes' by Daughtry blast through them.

For the next eight minutes or so I read 'Paid to Listen' by InvertedTriangles on Wattpad.

At 8:34 a.m, I put away my earphones, knowing that the bell will ring soon.

I get up and start walking into the school building.

My first class is Calculus with Mr. Red.

Mr. Red is a man in his late thirties with black hair and brown eyes. He's kind of short but still taller than me.

I'm pretty short.

Math has always been one of my strong subjects.

Mr. Red makes us introduce ourselves since he said he didn't have anything planned for the first day.

Cecil sat next to me in this class.

When it was my turn ro say some facts about me, I stand up.

"My name's Cecilia Solar. I have three brothers. I love reading. My favorite color is blue and I hate crowds." I state.

Me, being the person who notices everything, notices when a guy in the far corner smirks at me.

I shake it off as usual.

All through the day the classes were the same, all we had to do was introduce ourselves. I only had five classes with Cecil. I also noticed I had the smirk guy for most of my classes except one.

During lunch, I sat on the same table under the tree from the morning.

Cecil and I didn't have the same lunch.

At 4:15 p.m, the last school bell rings, dismissing school.

"I'll be home before 9. Bye, Bro." I wave to Cecil.

I get in my car and drive the 40 minute drive to Alec's place.
