Chapter 15 The Name Was Not Chosen Properly

"CEO Pei, the company called to invite you to the shareholder meeting this time." Kang Lu read the schedule to Pei Yilin.

Pei Yilin glanced at the people in the room and left Qian Mengmeng to Liu Xuan. Song Qian continued to be the driver.

Song Qian was very worried about leaving his precious daughter to Liu Xuan.

Pei Yilin's grim eyes fell on Song Qian. Song Qian was about to pretend to be sick and ask for leave, but she was forced to hold back.

Qian Mengmeng was not that easy to attend to. She was afraid that Liu Xuan would be the one who suffered!

Thinking about it, it was better for Song Qian to follow Pei Yilin obediently for the sake of safety.

From afar, the Muhua Group's building seemed high-end and classy. Song Qian followed behind Pei Yilin and looked at his back. He back was so thick that it made people feel at ease and awe.

"CEO Pei, all the shareholders are here. Are you ready for the meeting?" asked Kang Lu.

Pei Yilin nodded and entered the meeting room with his cold and stern aura.

Song Qian stood bored at the door. As a bodyguard, she only needed to beat up bad people.

During the entire meeting, Pei Yilin did not speak more than three sentences, adding up to less than ten characters. Song Qian really doubted how Pei Yilin's personality could make the company so large-scale.

As time went on, Song Qian had to admire him.

Although the meeting last long, there was no nonsense. The secretary reported all the important things, and all the department leaders pointed out the quality of the previous quarter and evaluated the financial situation of the next quarter.

It was not like Song Qian was listening to a lengthy meeting, but rather an eye-catching financial lecture.

"CEO Pei, the dinner arrangement is ready." Kang Lu whispered to Pei Yilin.

Pei Yilin nodded and Kang Lu said to the other people present, "Thank you for your hard work. Please gather downstairs and take the bus to eat dinner."

The company's profits were good, so the employees got pretty decent treatment.

Pei Yilin was not stingy. He invited everyone to have dinner at a five-star hotel, and they could bring their family together.

"I should have brought Mengmeng," murmured Song Qian.

She was almost used to being Pei Yilin's bodyguard. Anyway, she couldn't get rid of him for now.

"Oh! Mrs. Zhao, it's been a long time! I've seen this bag you're carrying. It's over half a million dollars!"

"Mrs. Qian? Nice to meet you. I lost my interest in this bag when I got it. I'm going to throw it away and buy another one. Did you change your diamond necklace? This one is bigger and more beautiful than last one!"

"Mrs. Sun is also here? OMG! Mrs. Sun's figure was as good as ever. You must be wearing a limited edition of Prada, right?"

When rich madams got together, they did nothing but keep up with the Joneses.

"Since there are three of us, why don't we find an extra pair of hands to play mahjong together?" suggested Mrs. Zhao.

Mrs. Zhao, Mrs. Qian and Mrs. Sun immediately agreed.

However, they could not find a single person who wanted to play with them.

The three of them were notoriously bad at playing mahjong. They would be happy if they won money. If they lost money, they would throw money at you and even ridicule you.

"Bodyguard Song, go and play," said Pei Yilin.

"Me?" Song Qian pointed to herself and said, "I don't know how to play mahjong." The less trouble the better.

"You can play if you know how to lose money," whispered Pei Yilin.

Song Qian blinked her eyes, thinking that Pei Yilin might have used this trick to win the hearts of the ladies' husbands.

Sitting on the mahjong table, the three ladies were all smiling happily. They were all radiant with jewels and looked very rich.

"Xiao song, look at you. You' re too skinny to be a bodyguard. Are you fit enough for the job?" asked Mrs. Sun, looking very concerned.

"It's okay."

Mrs. Zhao asked, "Do you have a girlfriend? Shall I introduce you to one?"

"Yes, I have."

Mrs. Sun grabbed a mahjong tile in her hand, her eyes filled with joy, and then she said calmly, "Why do all nice men have a woman by their side nowadays?"

"Indeed!" Mrs. Zhao inserted her mahjong tiles here and there and fiddled with them for a long time.

"Hurry up and play your cards. It's good enough for you to play four laps," Mrs. Qian urged.

Mrs. Zhao took out a tile after much consideration.

"Oh! Good for me! Top four! Double! "Mrs. Qian shouted as she picked up the mahjong tile Mrs. Zhao had played.

Mrs. Zhao glared and quickly said, "I drew the wrong tile. This one doesn't count!"

"How can it not be counted?" Mrs. Qian quickly rebutted, "The ship has sailed and there is no place for regret, don't you understand?"

"I just drew the wrong one!" Mrs. Zhao continued to protest.

Song Qian listened to the argument between the two madams speechlessly. She pursed her lips and looked at Pei Yilin from the corner of her eyes. She frowned and continued to keep her spirit up.

In the second round of the game, Mrs. Zhao came in a huff and won by her own draw.

The third round saw a complete win by Mrs. Sun, who took a tile to complete a straight.

After about half an hour of playing, the three madams already had too many chips for their drawers to hold.

"Xiao Song, you haven't even won a single time. It's just that your name was not chosen properly. 'Song Qian' means sending money in our Chinese language. How unlucky!" The madams were overjoyed, and when they were happy, they began to amuse themselves by teasing other people.

Song Qian's eyes darkened. She suddenly realized that she had forgotten to ask Pei Yilin an important question!
