Nicholas perspective:

One month later,

Its been a month to our engagement she didn't meet me, call me, text me. Even at the engagement she was even barely walking. What happened?

Engagement day

My family was the first to arrive, Dukes were not here yet. We all sat at the table; dad take my siblings to let them meet with guests. I was left alone with my stepmother Elizabeth.

"So how do you feel?" She asked me smirking. "Marrying my choice."

I scoff and said, "Its not your choice its my choice. You better get that." I looked at her in the eye and she was glaring back at me. "I know that you only doing this because you want me to hate her, and I won't let that happen." I said eye contacting.

She scowled and jerked her face at the entrance, I look at the entrance and there she was coming in a dress looking absolutely breathtaking. She was looking gorgeous, she was wearing a knee length, full sleeve half white dress, her black hair was dancing in wave on her back, she was walking towards me almost limping, but she was handling herself, no one was beside her. When I stand up to go stand beside her Elizabeth said,

"Sometimes a person is better without help."Sipping her vine . I ignore her and went towards her grab Nora's arm to keep her from not falling. At first she flinched but then leaned on me to get balance.

"Thank you." She said to me, a smile gracing on her lips.

I smiled back and said "welcome".

She leave my hand and went to sat on aisle, I kept staring at her back, as she sat. Then I walk to aisle to start the engagement.

Present time

Elizabeth, why she always say such a thing that doesn't make sense. I groan.

"Bro its your life big day and your groaning here, come on we don't have time." Adrian said excitedly, when he see my face, he stop pushing me, he sat beside me and asked, "hey, are you alright you look a bit ...  dull, is everything alright?" He asked pausing, trying to say the right word.

"Yeah I... I ...am alright." I stop for a second then look at him very confusedly, "actually I am not."

"Yeah, I can see that. Is it related to Nora?" He asked and I nod. "What?" He shouted.

"You have a very bad habit of shouting." I said to him while hitting him in a shoulder.

"Uncle taught me, this." He said, and we both chuckled. When we stop laughing he said, "Don't change the topic, What is about Nora." He asked again getting serious.

"Yeah actually on engagement day-"

"What happened on engagement day?" He didn't let me complete and shouted.

"If you zip up your mouth, then I will tell you." I said to him and he gesture his index and thumb finger on his lips and zip up his lips.

"Actually Elizabeth, gave me a riddle and Nora complete it" I said to him and for my relief he didn't shouted this time. He tilted his head.

"What in the world are you saying. Why would Elizabeth said to you that? And you tell me that she hate you." He said.

"If I would I would be asking to you, in engagement day she was walking limp like she was hurt, can't walk and no one was beside her, you know...  bride never comes alone, she has no one beside her not her mother, father hella not even her sister or friend." I said and he gawked at me, "Don't look at me like that."

"Bro, I think there's something weird in her life. Maybe after this marriage you can ask her and you know tried to know what happened to her on that day." He said.

He is really crazy, mental and non-caring but no one can give a good advice than him.

"Thanks" I said smiling and he smack my head.

"Ouch, what was that for?" I asked, rubbing back of my head.

"You broke our friend-ship rule no 1" he said gesturing his index finger as one.

"What the hell?"

"Hey, brother you want to marry Adrian or that girl waiting for you standing on aisle" Seth asked, angrily. But he is so cute that that no one knows of his joking or he's angry.

"Yeah, I am coming" I said.

"Just come fast, dad already scold me" Seth said huffing.

Yeah, my life changing really fast. "Come on dude." I said to Adrian.

Nora perspective:

I am sitting in bride's waiting room in front of the mirror. Looking at myself,  and trying to believe that it is me. They did everything they can to broke me into pieces but I can't wait to happen this marriage. This marriage is only way for me to get a revenge. At least there won't be my stepmother and sister. There was click of a door and I got up my father came in, he started to take steps towards me, I see his eyes and saw the tears shed in his eyes. "Hello sweat heart, You look so beautiful." Dad said looking at me.

"Really, I do?" I said not convinced.

"Yes, my princess. Just like your mother." He said stepping towards me and cupping my face. "You are exact copy of your Mom." I smiled leaning in his touch. "I am so sorry, princess."

"Don't" 

"No, it's all my fault your life was like that but I promise to you that kid is going to take care of you" He said taking my hands in his, "I just hope your mother would be and none of this happen-" He sighed "-let's go to your marriage." He said tugging me to door. But I grab his hand and stop him tears in my eyes.

"Aren't you going to hug your princess," I said.  Dad eyes soften and he took me in his embrace and hug me tightly. I also hug him tightly, his chin on my head. He rub my back to keep my sobs.

"I really love you, dad and I am going to miss you." I said not wanting to pull away. Who knows when this moment come.

"I love you too, princess. I also going to miss you princess." He said kissing my top of head and pulling away. He look at me face, "Come on Nora, it's a happy day. Why are you crying?" He said making me chuckle. Dad wipe my face and tugged my hand around his elbow. "Shall we?" I smiled and nod. 

We walk out of bride room, The door open and he walked me to aisle, there I saw him which I have to spend my whole life with Nicholas, we walk to Nicholas who stare at me. He gave his hand.

"Nicho-" I didn't let my father finish and grab his hand and drop my own father hand. Nicholas was a little taken a back but maintain his posture and started smiling. I smile back at him. The marriage officiant started speaking. Just skip everything. 

"Will you Nora Duke daughter of Henry Duke accept Nicholas Bretons as your husband?" He asked.

"I do" I said without hesitantly.

He asked Nicholas, "Will you Nicholas Bretons son of James Bretons accept Nora Duke as your wife?"

"I do" 

"Now you may slip rings in each other fingers." He said.

A young man came beside Nicholas and hand him a beautiful ring he get it. And beside me Violette came and give me his ring. I take it. We both slip rings in each other hand.

"You may pronounce as husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride" marriage officiant said to Nicholas.

Nicholas gave me expression of asking my permission I look at the crowd and nod my head. He hesitate at first but then kissed me on my lips there was applause and hooting. We both didn't move from place and open eyes.

From here start my new life and so he's. This marriage would something to us I hope.
