I closed the windows and even the door of the shop of Mr. Delfin before I go home. I am with Diana, she’s helping me with everything because it’s our shift tonight. We walked Mr. Delfin home where his one and only daughter is waiting for him. I explained everything and we help her tucked him on his bed.

“Ana, I am so sorry for the kis-” I stopped her from speaking because I can’t even move on from the kiss that her brother committed to me.

“Your brother is an asshole, Diana.” I was startled when I heard her laugh pierce through my ear that seems like I said was a big joke for her.

“I know. I am so sorry, Ana.” I was surprised when I heard Herpeus’ on my left. So that’s why Diana is laughing because he heard me calling him an asshole. Yet, I don’t even give a damn or regret anything, he kissed me without my consent he’s an absolute asshole.

“Stop this non-sense, Herp.” I said without even looking at him yet I saw him signed Diana to go first so she obey her older brother and abandon me with this asshole wolfie. “Talk to me, Ana.” Again, I didn’t even bother to say a word.

“I said stop, okay?” I burst out from the irritation and angriness that I’m feeling inside. “I thought you’re different from other guys out there Herp but you’re not.” I saw hurt run across his eyes. “I didn’t even give you any permission to kiss me!” he hugged me all of a sudden so I stiffed while standing.

“I didn’t mean to do it, Ana. I was forced to do it because Hades seems affected that I’m so close to you.” I was confused on what he said. “My girlfriend was a human girl like you, yet she became a victim of the curse.” I continue listening to him while he’s hugging me. “Hades is my rival too.”

“Why are you saying these things all of a sudden, Herp?” he hugged me tighter as if there’s no tomorrow so I get confused again.

“The thing that I’ve said earlier? It’s true, I can see you as my Luna, Ana.” he released me from the hugged and look at my eyes intently without even noticing the rain that is pouring right now.

“W-Wait. I can’t even understand you, Herp. What is Luna? What is Mate? I am so confused.” he took off his jacket and put me underneath of it with our heads bumping into each other while escaping the drops of the rain.

“Let’s go to that cabin out there first.” we run together as fast as we can while fighting the rain that is continuously pouring down. I was laughing when our heads are bumping to each other causing us to feel hurt.

When we reached the cabin, we moved quickly and he opened the door. It isn’t locked so I think it is a free place for all that is built by the city’s government. I pull out the towel on my bag and threw it on his face causing him to laugh even more and so I.

“My curiosity is killing me, Herp. What are you and what is Mate and a Luna?” I asked while looking at his eyes intently without any intention to receive a stupid answer from him.

“This town was built by Mayor Joseph Fuentes; he’s the grand grandfather of Hades Alexis Fuentes. The community of this town were consists of three domains: us, the werewolves, the vampires and your specie, the humans.” he sighed with the mention of humans, I think he remembered his girlfriend. “Also, the mate is the other half of vampire and wolf, they are bound to help and love each other until the end of time. While the Luna, is considered as the mate of an alpha and the queen of the pack of werewolves.” he ended his sentence with a touch on my chin.

“You can see me as your Luna? But I am not a wolf, Herpeus.” he chuckled smoothly because of what I said that’s why I flashed a sad face to him. “What is funny?”

“No matter what you are and who you are. Once you’re bound to be my Luna there’s nothing will prevent us from being with each other.” I was perplexed when I realized and remember the thing that Hades said a while ago. I was his mate, too.

“B-But why does Hades consider me as his mate too, Herp?” I saw madness run across his eyes whilst looking at me.

“I don’t know. I think he just want to play with you but don’t worry, I’ll be right here. He can’t harm you when I’m with you, Ana.” I was having a hard time breathing when he move closer and closer while looking intently at my lips. What the heck is he planning to do again?

The atmosphere became hot as he went closer and I have nothing to do but to close my eyes and wait for his lips to touch mine. My eyes were still close while waiting but I automatically open my eyes when I heard a falling noise on the wooden floor of the cabin.

“Herpeus!” I run towards him as I called his name when I saw him lying down on the floor while touching his nose and grinning. I gazed my look towards the one who punch him and it’s Hades.

“It’s you again. Could you please stop now, Hades?” I said as I helped Herpeus stand on his feet again. “How many punches do Herpeus must receive from you huh?” I pushed him a little bit that cause him take a one step backwards.

“I can feel that I am your mate, Ana. Maybe he’s just mistaken to took you as his Luna. You’re so desperate, dude.” all I can hear is the loud and deafening laugh of Hades while looking at me.

“Even if you’re my mate, I can’t force myself to love a monster like you, Hades.”
