Flashback...

A girl was standing on the edge of the building only one step is needed to let her die. To let her all sufferings end in a blink of an eye. Her eyes were shedding tears... She just wanted to end her suffering. But again she felt a sharp pain in her heart thinking about her only sister who was only 14 years. She needed her...

Her sister needed her but what should she do she felt crying her heart out. She just wanted to get out of this slavery. She felt like a slave whose not locked up in a cell but have to do whatever her owner asked her to do... She never said no to her father but what today he said or do left the poor girl in a complete daze. She felt broken seeing her father marrying another woman who is gradually a reason for her mother's death...

Now kate even thought that what if that accident happened which caused a loss of her mother was planned... What if all this time father was just trying to get rid of her wife just to be with that woman...and they decided to end her life so they can be together. This thought broke her even more... If his heart had changed then he could have divorced her mother why taking her life... She doesn't want to leave her only 14 years old sister alone in this cruel world but she's tired...

She's just tired of murdering her own dreams just to fulfill her father's desire but what now he didn't even think of his daughters before marrying that murderer even though he said that it wasn't her fault it was just an accident...He even said that he started to hang out with that woman after one year of her mother's death. But she doesn't believe him...

Kate just can't believe his words so easily... First, he treated her like a slave... Letting her handle the company only at the age of 14. She wanted to enjoy her life like other teenagers but still, she killed her desires just because of the love she has for her father. But he didn't even think of her before talking with that woman who caused her mother's death...

She closed her eyes and was about to take a step forward wanting to end her all sufferings and pain... But she stopped when she heard a manly but soft and concerned voice stopped her from doing such a sinful thing.

"WAIT..." She looked at the person with her dark brown eyes which were full of tears...Her eyes did contact with the beautiful dark orbs of the boy who stopped her...He looked older than her... He looked almost 20 or 21 as kate was only 17... His eyes are reflecting with concern and panic this was the first kate ever felt wanted. After her Lil sister, his eyes were the first one who showed concern for her... He took a deep breath before moving towards her like he's relieved that she's alive...

This one deep breath of him made Kate's breath to hitched...she never felt this attracted or should I say so much affected. His facial expressions were showing only concern and sadness... He extended his hand for her to take. But kate only stared at his hand not knowing what to do...

Of course, she wanted to end her sufferings but after her encounter with this guy, she has no idea what to do anymore... Is she sick... Or is she has gone mad... What is it that she's feeling for God sake he's just concern about her not like he's confessing his love... After fighting with her thoughts she shook her head.

"I-its none of your Business just leave me alone..." kate said while the guy sighed and said," Okay then you have left me no choice" as soon as he completed his words in a swift movement he grabbed her wrist and picked her up as a bridal style... Kate gasped and immediately wrapped her arms around his neck stopping herself from falling. She was so scared that her face was buried in his neck and eyes were closed with her right grip of wrists around his neck...He chuckled at her...

"Look how scared you are right now and you were almost going to take your life..." He said with concern but also a little strict voice... Kate becomes embarrassed... She only tighten her grip on him instead of letting him go... The boy only smiled seeing her attached to him like a koala...

But he didn't mind he knew that she needed comfort and he did ...Instead of letting her go, he brought her small body carrying in his big arms to his apartment. Because his apartment was in the same building as where kate was trying to suicide...

After reaching his living room. He noticed his neck getting wet he sighed he knew that she was crying but it's not like he minds. For him, she can sleep in his arms because he doesn't mind. Her weight was nothing for him... She was like a feather that he was carrying in his well maintained full of muscle body...He sat on the sofa still carrying her in his arms.

She was on his laps and her head was buried in his neck letting her tears fall on his soft skin. She felt comfortable and relaxed... She needed this warm embrace to let her pain fade away... His hands were still on her waist holding her tightly...

After some time she sniffed and deliberately moved away from his laps... She sat on the sofa while wiping her running nose with her long-sleeve which made her nose to held a crimson color... He also didn't protest. He just wanted her to be relaxed... He went to his kitchen leaving a sniffing girl there...

He came back with a cup and glass in his hand. He handed her glass of water which she gladly accepted and drank it all. He sat beside her and started to drink his coffee while gazing at her... He noticed how beautiful and innocent she was looking... Her hair was tied in a messy bun and her cheeks and nose were red as she was crying her heart out.

"T-thank you... If you haven't saved me I was ---" he cut her sentence while placing his cup on the side table..." Don't be... If you don't mind me asking why were you trying to take your life..." his voice wasn't strict or demanded... It was soft and sad like he's not mad but upset.. Kate bit her lip and shook her head...

"No, I don't mind...I just..i just can't anymore...It's hard... It's so hard...I am tired of everything...These years I tried to be as strong as I can but I just i..." she bit her lip stopping a sob. But one tear escaped from her eyes. He extended his hand and softly wiped her tear... She flinched feeling his cold finger touching her warm cheek...

She looked at him and he gave her his sweet smile which was really comforted for her.." I know the feeling of loneliness... Tiredness and most sad feeling of being helpless...I also have gone through this. But then I met someone who made me realize how precious life is... If there is darkness... There is also a light... A light of hope and happiness..."

His every word made her heart raced faster... She never felt so comforted only with words. Of course, her father always comforted her whenever she misses her mother but his comfort was something else... Something warm and protected. Hi, hand came to contact her soft cheek caressing her cheek softly... She has no idea why but she closed her eyes making a boy smile seeing how innocent and beautiful she looked while closing her eyes...

"Don't ever felt alone cupcake... There are many things in this world for us... Never ever felt like this darkness in your life wouldn't fade away... Because I have a faith in you and I am sure you will fight with this pain  and will win this fight..." He said making her open her eyes...

Not only his lips were showing smile but also his eyes were showing brightness... The brightness she needed... She held his hand and smiled at him. Not a fake but genuine... She felt so weird when her lips curved into a genuine smile and not a fake one. Because it was a long time when she last smiled genuinely and not a fake one...

His smile becomes wide seeing her smiling which was reaching her eyes..." Remember cupcake I am always here for you...I will protect you... Never think of yourself alone..."She smiled once again at him... She felt strong and complete. She felt like it was the only thing she needed and he gave her.. Comfort and feeling of love...

"Thank you for everything, My Savior..."

(End of flashback...)

Kate woke up breathing heavily. She still remembered the first time she met him... Like it happened yesterday...She wiped her sweat and took a deep breath when she heard a knocking on the front door... She immediately took the blanket off her body and ran towards the door as she doesn't want her sister to wake up...

"Coming," she said while carefully moving towards the door...she carefully opened the door with making only a small noise...she looked at the person in front of her... His head was hanging down... But she immediately recognized him "Mike".

Some memories left a deep scar which never even tries to heal as it doesn't give pain but an unwanted pleasure...
