"Sis...did something happened yesterday"Kate's sister ash asked her with a hint of a worry...kate sighed and nodded"yeah Mr Simmons came"kate replied and ash sighed hearing her sister calling thier father's name...she was too much done with her father...he already has done so much to kate but still he have audacity and come to meet her..."what he wants now" she questioned kate with a hint of annoyance...

"He have found a very eligible and a perfect bachelor for me to get marry "kate said sarcastically...ash laughed and shook her head"he still have some balls to come here after ruining the best moments of our lives..."kate sighed and looked at ash"don't worry sis..I am fine and yeah I am gonna get late tonight because--"

before kate could complete her words ash interrupted her "yeah yeah I know because of ball but I am not allowed to be outside after 9pm and also not allowed to invite any friends at home except Sean I know I know..you don't have to remind me again and again"ash said with a hint of annoyance...

kate chuckled and placed a soft kiss on ash's forehead before walking towards her room to get ready for ball...ash also smiled at her sisters soft and caring touch...

Ash is Kate's younger sister...she is only 4 year younger than kate but cares for kate like a elder sister ...after their mothers death kate has taken care of ash just like a mother...in their miseries both sisters were always there for each other... the only person for whom kate can give her life is her sister...

she loves her to the core and can do anything for her...after the incident of 4 years ago which changes the life of kate and her family..kate and ash changed their residency and moved to another and simple apartment...they had cut all of their ties with thier father but that old man doesn't know how to give up and leave them alone...

Kate looked at her dress and shook her head This guy she thought as she stared at the beautiful dress infornt of her... even though she refused him so many times but still mike send her a beautiful and expensive dress with matching jewellery...she sighed and looked at things he send for her...sometimes she felt bad for treating mike harshly...

she knows that he has nothing to do with her miseries but still he doesn't want to give him any hope... she also knew that what mike felt for her is real but she also know that he's only obsessed with her and not in love with her...she can tell his emotions just by looking in his eyes...she sighed and picked the dress up and went to change...

She took a bath dried her hair and changed into a beautiful dress...she was amazed by the beauty of dress...but she was more amazed because it wasn't a revealing dress nor it was a too clothed dress...it was just like her style and taste...she chuckled he really did stalked me doesn't he... yes mike stalked her that creep ...she took her glasses to wear but then stopped when she heard her sisters disapproving voice and looked at her with disappointing looks



"Really sis..glasses on this beautiful dress...where the hell is your lens "ash said while trying to find Kate's lens" first watch your language young lady and second here is my lens and I also know what look should I have to wear...I am not that dumb to wear glasses on this beautiful dress...I was just settling my glasses in the box and will going to wear these lens" ash smiled at her intelligent sis and admired her beauty seeing her getting ready...

Ash still find her sister so much strong...if anyone will be in her place then it will be very hard to cope with a things that happened to her...for ash kate is her mentor...ideal type and a godmother..."your looking so beautiful sis"ash complimented with a adorable smile...

kate smiled and sighed"its been so long when I last removed my glasses and that day was the worst...I just hope nothing would happen today..."ash's smiled faded away and she gulped before backhugging her broken sister...she rested her head on Kate's shoulder and hugged her while closing her eyes ..."everything will be alright sis...I love you my beautiful sister"

kate patted ash's head and smiled at her..."dont worry your sister is more stronger than she looks"kate said" I know...I know very well sis"ash said with a hint of sadness...kate hugged her sister and got ready to get to the ball...

She heard the horn of the car...kate sighed hearing Mike's here...she tried her best to refuse mikes lift but no that stubborn lover boy just don't know what is the meaning of no...she went out of the apartment and saw mike handsomely standing leaning to his car...he was wearing a decent suit with a dark blue tie increasing the beauty of his suit... as soon as he looked at kate ...he was amazed by how beautiful she was looking...she wasn't looking a nerd or a princess but she was looking beautiful in her own way...

Kate's makeup wasn't dark nor it was plain...she was looking too much mesmerizing...maybe she wasn't as beautiful as for others but for mike she was like a queen...his queen...he took few steps and smiled proudly seeing her wearing the dress he choosed for her...he couldn't be able to control and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her towards him...Kate's hands were landed on his shoulders...she was shocked at his sudden action..."mike"kate tried to protest but mike placed a finger on her rosy lips...

"Shh...you know it's not cool to test my patience katie" mike said while leaning to her face...she tried to move back but he held the back of her head and pulled her face more closer to his...tip of their noses started to touch..

he wanted to touch her...he wanted to make her his...he just wanted to cage her in his heart for forever..he wanted to kiss her senselessly but he have to control...he have to wait for a right time..."just remember one thing katie..that your mine only mine... "he said with full of dominance and possessiveness...

kate was still in shock This is now going too far..I have to stop him before he do something unforgivable ...kate thought to herself...she gathered her strength and pushed mike lightly making a comfortable distance between them...mike doesnt want to leave her but he controlled himself and let her waist go...

"Do I have to tell you again and again the same thing mike that I am not yours...so get this thing in your head that I will never be yours...so stop raising your hopes"kate said with a stern voice but mike only chuckled at her response like he was expecting her to say this..."shall we"mike ignored her words and indicate her to sit in the car...she sighed and took a seat in the passengers seat ...mike smiled before entering the car...

Mike was driving but his eyes kept on glancing at kate...kate noticed it and rolled her eyes in annoyance"if your planning to suicide then please exclude me because I don't want to die so early"

mike chuckled at Kate's burst out and held her small hand in his big ones...kate tried to pull her hand away from him but he held it firmly"can't you just let me hold you...I wouldn't eat you"mike said while trying to cope with her struggling..."why is it so hard for you to understand that your only going to waste your time in courting me..."kate said and mike chuckled

"if courting you is a waste of time then I will gladly waste it because for me it's worth it"kate looked at him and then sighed...after a while of struggling she stopped trying to get her hand away and gave up...mike smiled in victory and kissed the back of her hand...she only sighed and looked outside the window...

Mike stopped the car and kate was about to get off the car but mike held her shoulders and pulled her towards her making her collapse on his chest...she held his shoulders when he pulled her more closer..."mike what are you ---"he cutted her by leaning on her face...thier faces were only inches away..."it will be better to be with me if you don't want any other guy to get hurt especially that jerk Dylan"mike said "stop treating me like I am yours because i am not and will never be"...kate said in pure annoyance...

"The first time when I saw you and want you to be mine that was the day when I claimed you as mine" kate was shocked at his words..."i am not some kind of property that you can claim as yours mike.."she said gritting her teeths..he smiled and replied...

"Your not a property...your my queen...a queen that this king claims as his...your a queen of my heart...you claim my heart and soon I will claim yours as mine because you are mine and will be remain as mine forever"...

Falling madly in love with her wasn't his intention but ending up in a pit of continues rejection was his decision...
