After the magic show, they walk in the theme park, Haley was holding the amulet and can’t stop gazing at it, her mother Lucy holds the big stuffed toy.

"Very good Haley, this stuffed toy is so cute!” Her mother said happily.

"But mom, I prefer this pendant, what do these symbols mean, hmn?”

“Well, why don’t you borrow some books about Egypt in the library?” Kyle advised.

“Not a good idea, Haley don't waste your time in that thing, it's just a toy okay?”

"But mom, the magician says there's a magic here,”

“Sweetie, there is no such a magic pendant, even if that came from Egypt,” Lucy said.

"Yeah, it's just for fun anyway,” James chimed in. Then Haley suddenly ran.

"Haley, where are you going?” James called out.

"I just wanna ask something to the magician dad!” Haley said as she ran back to the tent. James tried to follow her but Lucy stopped him.

“Let her go, she will come back soon,”

They waited for Haley, a few minutes later she came back.

"Well, what did you ask from Magician?" Kyle asked.

"I asked him where he got this,”

"So what he had said?”

“He said, he just picked up this in the desert while in vacation in Egypt, but he has a brand new one so he wants this to give away, he said I can only buy like this in Egypt,”

“Oh, that’s old, well let's buy a new one when we get in Egypt!” Kyle said.

“Well, just keep it, my dear, at least you won it,” Lucy said.

Haley kept it until now.

When Haley remembered those days, she realized that it was just a toy pendant, but she is wondering why she was so interested in finding it. Haley hadn't even seen the pendant for a few days, she doesn’t know where it is, after a while, someone knocked on her door. It was her mom, Lucy.

"Sweetie, come down and let's eat, your brother is here with her new girlfriend, let’s meet her, go down now,”

"Okay, mom I’m coming!"

Lucy serves at the dining table, and she was assisted by Kyle's new girlfriend named Jazzy. "Jazzy, what’s your parent's work?"

"My mommy is in the real state then my dad is a Doctor,”

"Hmm that's nice!” Lucy smiled. They had fun talking, Kyle came over and kissed Jazzy. "Sweetheart, I'm excited to be with you on our family vacation,"

"Me too Kyle, your parents are nice, anyway where is your younger sister?"

Soon, Haley is going down the stairs and Kyle introduces her to Jazzy. “Hi! I'm Jazzy, nice to meet you!"

"I'm Haley, nice to meet you too!"

They had a great time at dinner, and they were talking about their upcoming vacation. "I'm sure we will enjoy our vacation!" said James looks so excited. “It will be fun!” Lucy said.

Haley just eating quietly and didn’t say anything. She is still thinking about her pendant. After they had dinner, Haley helped her mother cleaned the table. After that, she goes up to her room and continues to look for the pendant, but she can't still find it.

Lucy enters her room, and she saw her busy finding something. "Haley, are you okay? What are you looking for there?"

"I'm fine mom, I'm just looking for the pendant that I won at the magic show before, do you remember the magician who gave me?”

Lucy thought a little.

"Oh yeah, but baby, it was a long time ago, do you still have it? maybe it's gone?"

"I just put it here,"

"Why are you looking for it? What are you going to do with it?”

"The magician said that it came from Egypt, and exactly we were going there, so I just want to bring it,"

"But why?”

“Maybe some people knew the meaning of the symbols etched in the pendant?”

“What is that all? Forget it, sweetie. Anyway, you should go to bed early and don’t forget to take your vitamins okay?”
