Chapter 2 I Don't Want to Touch You

The door of the operating room was closed all night long. There was no news and the nurses came in and out occasionally.

The patient's family was so anxious, afraid that something bad would happen. The door to the operating room was not opened until it was dawn.

Lan Fei was exhausted. The operation lasted all night. To ensure the safety of her mother and son, she stayed up all night.

Her mind went blank and her mouth was dry. After taking off her gloves and surgical cap, Lan Fei collapsed on the ground, unable to stand up.

The midwife handed over a cup of warm water, looking at her with concern。

"It's all thanks to you, Doctor Lan. You're amazing. It's a blessing for this family to meet you so that the mother was able to survive."

Hearing this, Lan Fei raised her heavy eyelids slightly. A self-deprecating smile appeared in the corner of her eyes.

Her pinched face was pale. Due to low blood sugar, she took a sip of water, took out a piece of sugar from her white coat and put it into her mouth.

She was worn out through a night, sweat soaking her hair on her forehead, and even her clothes smelled of sweat. "I asked for this opportunity," she said.

She saw clearly the resistance of those people last night. If it weren't for that man, maybe she wouldn't have been able to walk into the operating room at all.

The midwife sighed slightly, patted her on the shoulder, and comforted her in a low voice, "Mother and son are safe. There's nothing they can do if they try to make trouble."

Lan Fei looked up at the ceiling desolately.

She hoped so.

After changing her clothes and leaving the operating room, before she could react, a large group of reporters crowded forward and kept taking pictures of her.

The reporter in front was as excited as a cat that smelled fishy when they saw her coming out.

"Lan Fei, how did you get the job in the people's hospital? Didn't the medical malpractice three years ago get you expelled from the medical circle?"

"I heard that you were able to operate last night because of the guarantee of Boss Lu from Lu Group. Do you and Boss Lu have some secret?"

"Is there anything wrong with this operation? Will it be the same as what happened three years ago?"

One question after another came to her, not giving her a chance to breathe.

Lan Fei was dizzy and had stayed up all night. Her lips were all purple, and the reporters rushed forward.

Physically and mentally exhausted, she said, "I'm sorry, I have nothing to say."

The pregnant woman's husband also squeezed in, and he stepped on her feet in high heels.

Cold sweat broke out on her forehead. She subconsciously pushed the man away. He took a few steps back and fell to the ground.

The crowd screamed, "The doctor hit someone!"

A tossed stone raised a thousand ripples. Soon, others rushed up like flies.

The reporter was even more excited and asked, "Lan Fei, as a doctor, how can you hit someone?"

"Lan Fei, what do you want to say about that?"

"Why can a lawless doctor like you still work in a hospital? Did you bribe the director?"

One question after another came at her, making her unable to fight back.

She was unable to explain to them. Under the flash, she became more and more nervous. Cold sweat kept flowing down her forehead, and her legs were weak as if they had been drained of strength.

She suffered from hypoglycemia.

Just as she was about to faint, a strong arm wrapped around her slender waist to prevent her from falling to the ground.

Lu Jishen, whose eyes were as cold as ice, stared at the reporters and said coldly, "Lan Fei is my wife. If you have any questions, you can consult my lawyer."

The reporters were silent for a moment.

It didn't mean that people who didn't know the financial circle didn't know Lu Jishen.

Few people could provoke this powerful man.

Lan Fei was his wife, which surprised everyone, and they stepped aside for fear of being angered by him.

Lan Fei, who had long been exhausted, fell into his arms and he strode out of the hospital with her.

*

Lu Family villa.

Throwing her bag on the sofa, Lan Fei dragged herself upstairs.

The house was cold, devoid of family atmosphere, but she was used to it.

She and Lu Jishen were merely the debtor and the creditor.

She owed him a life back then, but now she could only serve him like a servant to pay back.

"Stop."

Lu Jishen said, looking at her with cold eyes, his figure like an ice sculpture.

"Did I allow you to rest?"

With a pause, Lan Fei slowly turned around and felt a sharp pain as if her bones and heels had been torn apart.

She glanced at him weakly and said in an extremely humble tone, "What's the matter?"

One second, two seconds.

Without answering her, he just stared at her as if he wanted to see through her.

Lan Fei, however, showed no fear but said with a smile, "If there's nothing else, I'll go rest first."

Before she could take two steps, a strong wind came from behind. She was picked up by him and thrown onto the fabric sofa.

She adjusted herself uncomfortably and was pressed down by him before she could sit up.

His fierce and crazy breath was approaching, making her extremely uncomfortable. Their breaths were short, and she tried to calm her breathing. "Lu Jishen, please get up," she said.

"No."

His voice was extremely cold, and a sharp light burst into her eyes. His terrifying power made her heart beat.

He curled his lips and said calmly, "You should fulfill the duty as my wife."

Lan Fei's face turned red, and she was burning with embarrassment.

Her hair was a little messy, her eyes were affectionate as she looked at him. He couldn't be attracted by her pink lips and deep eyes.

Even though the they had been married for three years, he had never touched her in the past three years, and she did not think that she had such a "Duty."

She pursed her lips and smiled. Her eyes were like crescent moons, bright and clear like gardenia.

She tried to lower stance and took a deep breath. "Lu Jishen, I'm just your nominal wife. You know, the two of us..."

Before she could finish speaking, he kissed her.

She breathed unevenly and her breath became low.

It was not like a kiss. It was devoid of any feelings as he bit her like a beast in a hurry to vent.

He desperately left a mark on her lips and tongue.

Tears welled up in pain and her fingernails pierced his muscular arm. Instead of letting go, he exerted more force.

"Mmm!"

A touch of fishy sweetness spilled from the corner of her lips. She was bitten by him, but he did not show a sign of stopping.

She retreated, and he moved in, leaving her nowhere to retreat.

She dodged, and he pestered her, leaving her nowhere to hide.

It was not until his burning palms covered her that she suddenly woke up.

His hand ran through her body along the way and she trembled. He became more and more reckless.

He rubbed and scratched.

Her back was sweating from the pain. She saw him coming up and pressing down on her tightly.

With a muffled snort, she raised her head, pointed it at his shoulder, and bit him hard.

She bit him hard and she didn't let go of him until he stopped.

His face was gloomy and stiff, without any change.

"Do you really think I want to touch you?"

She collapsed on the sofa, drenched in sweat, and stared at him with a murderous look.

He sneered, "Don't worry, this is just the beginning. There will be a lot of surprises for you."

After that, he stood up and left without looking at her.
