Chapter 2 : Dayne cruxx

Dayne slowly understand the situation and to make it more polite he step closer to Rein and snatch the paper bag she's holding.

"I did scare you thats why I want to apologize by escorting you until you gets home"

Though he really wants to know where this beautiful young lady lives so he can visit her anytime he wants.He doesn't know why he's acting like this towards Rein.

The moment he Saw her he instantly get attracted to her...there's something in her eyes that she wanted to Catch on.

He was trying to stop himself from doing such an impulsive actions but even his Brain can't stop him from being curious about this woman,So he decided to Leave his colleagues and Start following Rein.

This is absurd but this is only reason to calm his mind and whole system.

Rein send him a death glare before trying to snatch the paper bag he's holding but he was too fast to kept it.

"Give me that!"

She shouted at him before trying to snatch the paper back again. Dayne is trying his best not to laugh while looking at Rein facial expression.

She has the face of an innocent angel but possess a mind of a devil,his type of woman...

To stop rein from snatching the paper bag away he finally gave up and Give the paper bag to this beautiful young lady who is now pouting her delectable lips.

"Now go away!"

She commanded while still pouting

"No, I'll go with you"

He insist to show that he's persistent he put his both hands in his chest and stared at her intently.

He doesn't know why but he wants to keep this woman safe...safe from those creatures who had been giving him so much pain in the ass.

Those vampires who can not control their thirst during full moon.

Yep,He admit that vampires are real and he is controlled by them especially his father.

He will never be who he is right now without the help of this powerful vampire.

Those blood sucking creatures offers wealth in exchange of their protection.His father had accepted the offer until it's pass into him.

He doesn't want to protect those monsters but he can't just Forget his responsibilities.There's a big Substitute for the mistakes the he'll do regarding the deal.

If he will stop protecting those creatures they will kill hi and all the people who's connected to him.that's why as much as he can he wants to stay away from rein.But he's body has its own mind.

"Please Mr.Dayne I want to go home and om really tired just le-"

He didn't let her finish her statement instead he clasped his both hands before bending his body so that he'll get closer to rein who's know looking at him with clear frustrations in her weary eyes.

"You want to go home?"

He asked while she nodded desperately.

"Then let me come with you"

Her hope to be alone instantly flew away when she heard what Mr.Dayne said. She do now believes that Behind his Perfect Face there's an astute devil hiding.

"What do you want!"

She again ask,hoping that this man will leave her alone.

"I want to walk with you is that a bad thing?"

Rein gives him a glare before walking away from the hard headed police officer.But he is still following her.

Well all she needs to do us to walk and never notice him,Like she's alone and this Astute human being never irritates her.

He'll be tired she is sure of it.

"You know what you are so cute and I do really want to pinch your cheeks but I believe its too rude"

Rein cant stop from raising her eye brows,He called her cute?

Well this Man knows the real definition of the word cute.Indeed her self esteem increase as the word "cute" keeps on replaying in her head.

They're now walking together and she didn't care.He just called her cute and that is an exact reason to let him walk with her.

"Did I made you proud?"

He ask out of nowhere but she didn't even gave him a single word.She just keeps on walking and listening.

"Well I was happy to see you, at first I thought you are mute because you are not speaking.But I was shocked when you speak earlier"

She narrowed her gaze because of what he said.

"And what's wrong with mute people?"

She asked

"There's nothing wrong with them but it is so impolite if someone's talking to you but you are not Using your voice to respond even though you can speak"

And she was hit right through her nerves,What this Astute man wants from her!

She know he need something because he wont be to persistent and intimate to her if he didn't need anything!

"What do you want!"

She coldly ask

"I know we doesn't have a good start that is Why I want to create a new beginning for us"

Rein was confused when he block her way making her stop from walking. She was watching every move he makes and she almost hear her heart beat when he smiled at her---Showing his perfect set of white teeth and The dimples in his Right cheek.

Damn this man knows how to make a woman drool over his face! Rein thought.

Her eyebrows arch when he lend his hand like he's initiating a hand shake.She just look at him cluelessly until he speak that made rein blush because of the amusement he gives.

"I am Police officer Dayne Cruxx,Nice to meet you miss cute"

He even wink at her before saying those words and rein being considerate.She accepts his hands while she's moving her head as a sign of Amusement.

She can't believe that this hot police officer can be this crazy and annoying.

"I am Rein"

The moment she touch his hands she felt nothing but nervousness embracing her whole body.she set aside the feeling of uneasiness and she let go of his hands.

A playful smile came across daynes's face as he memorize every details of Ms.mute Angelic face.

"So now let me just bring you home"

Oh great he's really persistent and nothing can stop this astute guy.

Rein thought before continued walking.This night is tiring as hell.

She saw a corpse,Got nervous and scared then she met this Crazy Guy who wants to take her home.

Oh great what's next?

After a couple of time they still walking to reach rein's apartment but no one is speaking.This police officer becomes silent in an instant.

Does he noticed that she's annoyed by him?

Or he's avoiding a topic...Rein quickly faced the police officer before asking him a question that until now brings curiosity to her whole body.

"What happened to that woman?"

She was referring to thay corpse earlier.He remain stoic before answering her question.

"Im sorry but it's confidential"

The only answer she received from him that made her pissed.

She notice something into Dayne's Eyes when she asked about that dead body...is he hiding something from her?

Well they aren't closed enough to be angry because of him keeping a secret as a matter of fact she shouldn't mind his business...

But curiosity is really killing her.

"I noticed something weird to that body,it smells lavander then there's a lot of tiny hole"

She started stating her opinion based on what she observes.She doesn't care if Dayne will Respond but she wants to know if he's really hiding something based on his facial reactions.

He remained stoic while walking.

"The victim's blood had been drained making the body to turn into grayish white... hmmm"

The volume of her voice is better enough to be heard by dayne.

"Maybe some Syndicate sells blood for money and that poor girl is a victim.There's no such thing like vampires...they are not real"

A triumphant smile draw across Rein face when she heard what dayne said.

She doesn't say anything about vampire...

She didn't even say that word but here he is.

"I didn't say it was a crime made by a vampire"

She said hiding her wicked plan.

She saw from her peripheral vision that Dayne's Eyebrows are now arched like he was into a deep state of thinking for something or someone.

"You didnt? Well that is from the conclusions of people who saw the corpse"

She nodded her head slowly before speaking again.

"Then you're not believing them,why is that?"

She needs to manipulate his mind to extract some information about that case.she needs to be aware specially the place where the body had found is just Meters away from her old apartment.

"I didn't meet one..."

she observe the tone of his voice,Its really like he is hiding something that is connected to vampires.

"If you'll meet them in person what will you do?"

She hug the paper bag tightly.

"Nothing"

Nothing? He won't be amaze or scared?

She let out a deep exhale

"Doing nothing to a Unbelievable scenario means you're used to it"

He stop from walking and his eyes held amusement.Did she just amuse this Astute?

Maybe? From the way he looks at her right now she can tell that he's amused.

Rein shrugged before making her movements fast.Leaving Dayne behind,he was still amused.

"Are you manipulating me woman!"

He shouted at her but his voice doesn't sounds angry,it sounds playful.Instead of responding to his Question she kept on walking fast.

"Rein! Damn it wait for me!"

She was now smiling from ear to ear because of Dayne's action it was like she is Enjoying his company.

He's funny,carefree and hot though he also have this annoying behavior.

He look at the place where still there's a bunch of crowd and police officers.

They are still investigating...

But the body is nowhere to be found,maybe they hide it first before they continue investigating.

Rein let out a deep breath before she think of something that can erase the tension in her whole system.

Well there's only one person who can make her relax and happy at the same time.it was her favorite model and actor, her one and only Adam Xaint Dimitri.

She collects every poster that xaint is in,even the magazines and pictures.

For her he is the epitome of A real Handsome gentleman.

damn! next week he'll visit a mall near in this place she should be there so she can finally meet her idol!

She need to bring her poster for autograph then she will take a picture of him with her!

That thoughts made Rein giggle,she's really inlove to a man she can only see in television and posters.

"You are acting so weird"

Her day dream stops when she realized that she's with this annoying jaw dropping man.

"You are ruining my Fantasy!"

She shouted at dayne

"About me?"

He coolly said before winking at her.

That move increase her Rage even more.

He's now acting like a jerk...indeed this man is Unpredictable.

"No, I was thinking about Adam"

Rein was shocked when dayne stops walking.She look at him and she was suprised when she saw him clenching his fist.she can see that he is in rage.

His face holds a cold emotion that can scare anyone.

What is wrong?

"Adam xaint Dimitri is it?"

His voice is now deep and husky.

"Ye-yeah"

Rein thoughtlessly said,She's now confused by how Dayne is looking at her.

"Stop admiring that Son of a bitch,he doesn't deserves your admiration"

He stated coldly before walking

"Why are you acting like that?"

She ask unknowingly

"Dont ask just continue walking"

The moment he said those words to her it made her heart pound.She just saw the scary Version of dayne.

He's hiding something about the murder case regarding vampire and now he is acting so weird because of His idol's name.

This man has a lot of skeleton in the closet.She may not have the rights to know he's darkest secret but someday she'll have the rights to discover everything about this man.

They just continued walking,No one is talking and when they finally reach her apartment.He just nodded to her before walking away.

They saw the commotion earlier and its not yet finish maybe Dayne went back to his work though she doesn't care.
