The Vampire's Cradle

Description

It was in the year of 1954. I was happily living with my family somewhere in North Korea.
I was eighteen then, and my sister Jae-eun just turned sixteen.
But something happened that day and I didn't see it coming.
I lose them, I lost myself.


Year 2019
Its three o’clock in the morning, I am standing at the edge of the highest building in Seoul, South Korea. I keep looking below watching some cars passing by. I can see there are still some human coming out from that building.
I come here and breathe… human’s terms…tsk.
Sixty- five years had passed I was in my twenties then… it’s my 85th birthday today …theoretically.

But I stayed in my twenties. I never get the chance to grow old … never will.
