Conversation

"Can you see injustice happening in front of you? That too to your brother like a friend?” Kamala aunty asked.

"Never!" Rehan said in a determined tone still closing his eyes.

"If you try to tell the truth to this girl, will she accept it. Firstly, will she even listen to you?" She asked.

"I don’t know aunty. She is so stubborn and I can't risk HIS life for the crime he has never committed." He said while the tears of helplessness, which rolled down from his closed eyes.

"Exactly...and do you have any other way?" She asked to clear his confusion.

"No!" He replied.

"And whatever you are doing now is..." She left the incomplete sentence.

"Right…….I’m doing the right thing!" He finished the sentence.

"And for whom?" Came the next question from her.

"For truth!" He answered and opened his eyes.

A simple conversation with her can clear all his confusion. He smiled broadly and hugged her.

"Thank you so much, aunty," He said and kissed her cheeks. He then stood up to leave.

"Where are you going?" She asked while he was going out.

"He is alone over there. I'll just come after informing you about this girl. Aunty, can you please give her food?" He stopped in the middle of the sentence while she nodded with a smile saying "Come soon. Even you haven't eaten anything."

He nodded and left while she left to give food to HER, the girl in the room, who was immersed in her own thoughts.

When Rehan was sharing his inner turmoil with his dear aunt, there was another person who wants to share hers too.

Only the difference was he has someone to speak to and she has no one around her except the room whose surroundings she hasn't even seen yet, having her hands, legs, eyes, and mouth tied.

And she started preparing her little mind saying, "No. I have to do something. All my unanswered questions need answers. But before that, I need to know where I am? Why that silent monster got me over here?! Is there anyone else other than him?! God! Who the hell is he? And what the hell he wants? He is getting on my nerves. I need to get out of here. My friend must get justice." to herself.

Just then the door flung open and she could get the aura of female perfume. Smart head..

And it was Kamala aunty, with a plate of food as told by Rehan.

As soon as Kamala opened the cloth on her mouth, she started, "Who is this? Please let me go! Pleaseeee~"

But of no use. Kamala aunty slowly opened the cloth on her eyes, she took a minute or two to figure out the person and her age.

She examined the surroundings and found it to be a well-designed bedroom consisting of bed and a side stand with light-colored curtains, the chair to which she was tied, and seeing that one room is enough to come to a conclusion that the house will be no less than a mansion.
