Chapter 29 May I Hold You

At night, the dormitory was quiet.

Little Yancheng felt a hand reach out and touch his shoulder which was bare without any covering. Then the hand moved down, pulled the blanket onto his body, tightened it around him and then withdrew.

The person behind him then pulled the blanket on herself and turned around to continue sleeping.

There were altogether four small compartments in the room, each on either side of the living room, separated by a wall between each of them. There was no door, and between them there was a curtain, which was used as door.

Each compartment was furnished with basic furniture, a bedside table on the bed, a set of desks and chairs in a corner against the wall, with magazines on it.

Behind the sofa in the living room was the toilet. In front of it was a TV set, bookshelf, and so on. Obviously, it was a four-person suite in an apartment.

As the only university in City A, the quality of the school and accommodation were impeccable. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many people who wanted to come in by all means.

Although Lian Ranran was a student here, she had never lived in school for a day and had always lived alone outside.

On the contrary, when Wang Qian and the others came here, they were envious. If they hadn't caught up with the zombie incident, they would never have been able to live in such a good place.

After working for a lifetime, she finally saw the same dormitory in the TV series. Unfortunately, she still had to live with others, so she was still a little unsatisfied.

Initially, Lian Ranran wanted Little Yancheng to have a bed, but there was no extra space here, so she couldn't let him sleep alone on the sofa in the living room. They could only sleep together on one bed which would at least made both of them sleep comfortably.

Little Yancheng slowly turned over and saw Lian Ranran's back. Seeing the woman in front of him pulling the blanket to cover him tightly, he really wanted to open her brain to see what kind of stupid things were inside.

Now that the situation was so serious, everyone was in a panic. Almost no one dared to approach the hospital next to them. They were afraid that they would be infected with that horrible virus. Only Lian Ranran, this idiot, kept pushing in and even brought him out.

Was she really not afraid that he would carry that virus and infect her, making her look like those terrifying monsters outside?

Stupid woman!

If Lin Fan hadn't lured Fang Mo and she hadn't rushed in and carried him away, it might have been a different situation now. Fang Mo's death would have been the best predictor of ending the world of panic.

But it didn't work out.

"Yes?" Lian Ranran turned over again, and her slightly opened eyes happened to see Little Yancheng staring at her face with a pair of bright eyes, her voice a little hoarse. "Little Yancheng, can't you sleep?"

Before Little Yancheng could answer, Lian Ranran's hand grabbed a corner of the blanket and pulled him into her arms, gently patting his back.

Startled by Lian Ranran's small move, Little Yancheng's face suddenly turned red, then his ears. Fortunately, no one noticed that since the lights were on at night.

"Why ... Why did you come back?" Little Yancheng was fascinated by the smell of her body.

"You are mine, and no one can hurt you, except me." Said Lian Ranran firmly.

This was her usual principle. Whoever dared to hurt hers, she would definitely make him pay ten times the price for everything he had done.

Thinking of her mother who had been pushed down at that time, Lian Ranran's heart suddenly soured. A stream of tears rolled down her eyes and dripped onto the pillow. As the pillow got wet, her hands also stopped moving.

Mom, I didn't really protect you.

Little Yancheng lay quietly in her arms. When he felt the movement behind him suddenly stopped and wanted to looked up to check whether she had already fallen into sleep, a drop of tear fell onto his face. His sipping lip opened slightly, "Can I hug you?"

Knowing that she was in pain, before she could answer, a small hand grabbed her waist and gently patted her back, making her feel better.

Tonight, it was a sleepless night. Everyone had some small thoughts in their hearts, thinking about how to face the current chaotic world. What should they do?
