Chapter Four

Small pitter patter of raindrops turned into a mix of loud thunder and heavy rainfall. People that were stuck outside ran into any shade they could find, not wanting to get soaked in the rain. The news once again failed to warn its viewers and proclaimed instead that it was going to be a rather hot day like yesterday. Not that they should be blamed because of it, no one can really control mother-nature. It was almost dinner time and the only two workers in Happy Sprinkles were getting the bakery all cleaned up and ready for the next day. At least that's what Daniel and Noah thought would happen but unfortunately, something came up and they have no strength to control it. Did mother-nature do this too?

Three muscular, handsome young men were in their way.

Without any commands or requests given by the two short boys, Zaccheus started tidying up the chairs. The twins even moved without the Alpha's orders as Ice started wiping the tables while Ace mopped the floor. They did it all without having a single sweat drop that it somehow made Daniel impressed at the amount of strength they had. The three stayed for the whole day which made Daniel annoyed and confused while Noah spent his time inside the kitchen. He had the twins knocking on the door every now and then but he didn't dare open it unless it was Daniel getting new batches of dessert that Noah baked.

"Finished, all clean."

Ice spoke as he sat at a chair opposite to Noah. Ace sat beside his twin, opposite to Daniel. Daniel sat close to Noah, much to the twins' dislike but of course they didn't dare to make it obvious to the two. Zaccheus sat at the front and if they were in a dining room inside a house, you can say the Alpha sat at the rightful spot for a father or head of the family. It was a rather amusing sight as no words were actually spoken during the cleaning process but secret glances to each other instead. Noah was looking down on his hands, mentally wanting to slap himself for feeling shy at the thought of the intense stare that the twins are giving him. Awkward silence filled the air until Daniel had enough.

"Okay, what the hell is going on? What do you want?"

He didn't mean to sound rude but Daniel was frustrated and angry not just because some random strangers just barged in to their business but they made him and Noah uncomfortable too. Zaccheus felt warmth within him when he heard his mate's voice and he could feel his heart finally pound like crazy. He insisted on helping them clean up earlier because he secretly wanted to show off his strength which was by the way came from his wolf, Alex's, idea. it was a little childish but no one can really blame him from being happy and excited that he has finally found his mate. The only problem is, Daniel doesn't know anything yet.

"Should we tell them? If we would, Ice and I would like to have some alone time with-...Noah."

Ace spoke softly as he looked at Noah who slightly froze and then fidgeted in his seat. The three werewolves knew that Daniel and Noah were clueless about the existence of werewolves and they had to find the right time to spill the beans. It was going to be a shock to the two but Zaccheus knew they can't just continue bothering them every day without reason. Daniel crossed his eyebrows as the three talked as if Daniel and Noah weren't there.

"We should, but not now. You both can tell him tomorrow to give him some time but I'll tell them our main business for now."

They all nodded and looked at the Alpha as he spoke.

"Good evening to both of you. Firstly, I would like to apologize in behalf of the three of us for bothering you earlier and acting strange. My name is Zaccheus Maddox and they are Ace and Ice Stone. We are looking for someone who can bake cupcakes for an anniversary at our hometown along with a special cake. Could you do that? "

The shorter boys in the room were confused at first but perked up at the mention of the dessert. So these three even bothered to help them clean up just because they wanted to purchase dessert?

"H-how many pieces do you want us cook? I-it also depends on the flavor you want. How much are you willing to pay?"

Noah stuttered, making the twins' wolves howl in happiness as they heard Noah's voice that they have been missing for such a long time. They had gone through a painful past and yet just Noah's voice made them a hundred times better. Noah was proud of himself for having enough strength to not just break down and cry from the sight of the twins. It has been five years and when Noah looks at them, he saw that they have grown so much.

"Name your price since you're special."

Ice spoke as he smiled at Noah who looked away. His smile was so bright that Noah felt like he was about to go blind. Daniel looked Ice weirdly and then shifted his eyes to Zaccheus, widening his eyes at the realization that Zaccheus was having heart eyes while looking at him.

"We are willing to pay at any amount, just tell us."

Ace continued, smiling at Noah as well. The pink-haired boy got shy at the sudden attention he was getting. How exactly should a person react at a scenario like this? Daniel had to ask about the price. Are they that rich to let strangers like Danny and Noah name the price?

"What? Are you sure about that mister Zaccheus?"

"Yes and call me Zach, my love. What are your names by the way?"

Daniel grew an unexpected blush at the pet name but answered quickly, shrugging off what he just heard. He shouldn't be blushing over a stranger's statements.

"I'm Daniel Evergreen but people call me Danny and he's Noah Stiles the owner of this bakery."

Stiles is not Noah's original surname but he decided to use it when his foreign aunt passed away in memory of her kindness towards him and his family back in Korea. It wasn't easy but his parents supported him all the way.

"So, you work for Noah? How old are you Danny?"

Daniel's cheeks were as red as a tomato once he heard his name slip off of the gorgeous man's mouth. Why did his cheeks feel so hot all of a sudden? Was this even normal?

"I'm 20 and Noah is 30. I work with Noah, not for Noah."

Daniel tried his best to not stutter and displayed a serious face. Zaccheus wasn't expecting Noah's age, thinking the small boys were in the same age. He looked at the twins questioningly but they just shrugged and smirked at their Alpha.

"Do you agree with us? We can talk about it more tomorrow since it is dinner time. Would you like to have dinner with us?"

Noah was about to answer but the doors burst open revealing Blade and Ryder who were wet from the rain. These two didn't even bother using an umbrella. Typical Blade and Ryder.

"Hey guys wha-"

The two newly arrived boys stopped in their tracks, taking in what was currently in front of them. The three were very familiar that Blade spoke before thinking.

"Alpha Zaccheus, Beta Ice and Ace, what are you-...Oh."

As soon as Blade realized what was going on, he slapped his mouth.

"Is that food? Give me some! I'm hungry."

Daniel literally jumped out of his seat which startled Zaccheus and reached out for the plastic containers that Blade and Ryder were holding. Daniel didn't care at the moment as his stomach ached for food.

They all ate together inside the bakery, Daniel and Blade talking loudly, the twins having a staring contest on Noah, Zach looking fondly at Danny and Ryder, well Ryder was eating.

Blade got home with Ryder leaving their bestfriends with the Alpha and Betas. The rain stopped but stars still can't be seen because of the clouds blocking it. It was breezy and the trees were dancing softly, following the pattern of the wind. Noah locked the doors and got in front of Zaccheus' car with the others.

"Daniel and I are gonna-"

"We'll take you home."

All of the three tall males said in unison, surprising the other two. They had a stern look that made Daniel and Noah agree, they too tired to argue anyway. Zaccheus insisted on driving as Daniel got in the passenger seat. As for Noah, he's the peanut butter between two large identical sandwiches.

Danny instructed Zaccheus along the way on where they live. Ice and Ace were trying their hardest not to touch Noah but it was so hard since all of their thighs were bumping on to each other every now and then. They tried to distract themselves by looking out of the window, thinking about disgusting things to avoid getting excited. The scent of Noah was very inviting for them. It made them want to just devour him and give him kisses every second.

This was the same case that Zaccheus was in. He loved how Daniel grew a little more comfortable despite their awkward meeting a few hours ago. He remembered how Danel's thin lips moved as he spoke and oh how he wanted to just take him right there.

"Just park over there"

Noah mumbled. They all got out of the car and Daniel thanked the tall men for driving them home safely.

"So, I guess we have to go in now. Bye?"

Daniel was unsure of what to do so he just waved and ran inside. Noah was about to do the same but his hands were pulled by Ice and Ace.

Zaccheus got in the car, not wanting to interrupt.

"We'll talk soon. Please give us a chance to explain, Noah."

"We will tell you everything as soon as we can, okay?"

They both whispered softly, wanting to touch Noah's cheeks but he just drove their hands away.

"I'm f-fine, I have t-to go."

"N-Noah wait!"

Noah didn't listen and ran inside the building, not wanting to see the twins for another second. He was stressed all day and didn't want to release his anger on them so it was better if he just slept after a nice shower. The twins sighed deeply, their wolves being sadder and disappointed than they already are. Something sparked when they touched their mate, Noah's, hand and it was one of the best feelings in the whole world.

They drove back to the forest and got in the mansion. Blue greeted them with a smile but it faltered once he saw the look on their faces.

"Atleast we found him, at last, right?" Ice asked his brother as he removed his clothes to shower.

"He didn't change except for his hair, which suits him by the way." Ace replied as he lied on the large bed.

On the other room, Zaccheus was staring at the sky on his window.

'I can still smell our mate's scent. It's so sweet, he smells like strawberries. Isn't it wonderful that we already found him?'

His wolf asked as he closed his eyes.

'Yes it is, I can't wait for tomorrow. We'll have him in our arms soon.'

'Yeah, we will.'

Zaccheus grew tired and closed his eyes, falling into a deep slumber.

Meanwhile

A mysterious figure lurked out of the shadow, brows furrowed but smirked otherwise.

"So, they found him. Oh Maddox, you're getting in so much trouble than you already are."

Suddenly there was a black smoke and the figure brought out large black wings attached to his back. He flew away, excited in delivering his master the message.
