Chapter Three

The Alpha and his Betas were eating dinner at the dining table. Only the three of them lived inside the pack mansion not far from the pack house with the maids and a few warrior wolves.

Their maids were usually male and female omegas who are good at cooking and cleaning, and guards who are warrior wolves. They could handle themselves but with their duty as pack leaders, they didn't have enough time to cook and clean. Zaccheus had thought that those who didn't have a job could offer themselves to work inside the mansion. It was the Alpha's way of making his pack happy in life so that they could afford enough food and other needs for their family. Zaccheus cleared his throat, catching the attention of the twins.

"I'm thinking about taking that rogue in here to work as a maid. What do you think?"

"I guess you could do that so he won't go anywhere and he could make a living."

"It might even help him forget or at least get his mind off of his past pack. That Alpha doesn't deserve his title."

Ace said after finishing up a glass of cold water that made him feel refreshed. The other two hummed in agreement as they thought of how much of an idiot Blue's Alpha was. They had met him before and they knew how he can be cocky and prideful.

"Good, I'll talk to him tomorrow then we can head out to the city. We need to find the perfect cake for the pack anniversary."

"Woah, I totally forgot all about it. So let me guess, it's our-" Ice was cut off by Ace.

"-250th year of being the strongest pack of the region."

Zaccheus nodded in approval as he smiled to himself, proud of every single werewolf in his pack that helped him not only to reach the top but also to develop himself into a better leader for everyone.

"We need to find a bakery that can make us cupcakes since that is what Elder Martha wants for the whole pack to have as a token. She has a liking to cupcakes but the main attraction besides meat is a huge cake. You have to help me on this one."

The Alpha said as he stood up, heading for his room.

"Sure, anyways Ice and I are going to sleep. Goodnight Alpha."

They all nodded and proceeded to their own quarters, the twins sharing one room with a huge bed.

THE NEXT DAY

It was almost nine o'clock in the morning and the sun is threatening to shine more and make the world hot. The wind passed by as two werewolves got out of the huge mansion.

The twins got in the car and turned on some music while waiting for Zaccheus. The said Alpha went in Blue's room and found the boy tidying up his bed. He cleared his throat, startling the poor boy who looked scared as soon as he met the Alpha's dark piercing eyes. He bowed his head and played with the hem of his large shirt that he borrowed from Elijah.

"G-goodmorning Alpha Zaccheus. W-what brings you here?"

He slowly looked up the huge man standing in front of him, feeling intimidated at his presence.

"I have a proposal. Since you don't seem to have a plan on going back to your old pack, I'm going to let you be one of us. Don't celebrate too early."

Blue's smile faded a bit but still happy about the Alpha's decision. He didn't want to go back so he had to play it safe in this new pack he got himself into.

"You will work as a maid or a cook on our mansion but it depends on what you're good at. Can we trust you? Because if you're not who you claim to be, we won't hesitate to punish you and send you back"

Zaccheus held out his hand, waiting for the boy to approve and shake it. Blue widened his eyes and smiled brightly.

"Of course Alpha! I am good at cooking and you can trust me. I promise I won't fail you. Thank you so much"

Blue's face held a bright look as he shook the alpha's rough and large hand. Elijah appeared behind the Alpha, holding some clothes for Blue. Zaccheus gestured for him to enter the room and he complied.

"Good. Elijah, I want you to bring Blue to the mansion, introduce him to everyone and tell them I assigned him in cooking. He can sleep at the guest room on the first floor. Tell them to let him eat whatever he likes. That is all for now, I must go."

"Yes alpha."

Elijah nodded and bowed to his Alpha, closing the door as the Alpha got out. He turned around and faced Blue who waited for orders. Elijah displayed a small smile to the boy and ruffled up his hair.

"Welcome to the pack."

Zaccheus got in the back seat as Ace drove with Ice on the passenger seat. They will be heading to the city where humans lived and would search for a bakery. Hopefully, they won't be suspiscious when Zaccheus tells them the number of cupcakes they needed.

"Buckle up."

Ace drove to the city, passing by different trees that were too familiar for them. It was quiet but began to get louder and annoying as they neared the city. In just a few minutes, they were at the main road. Buildings, cars and people were everywhere. Ice and Zaccheus looked left and right, trying to find a nice bakery where they can place an order. They were not going to let their Elder down. She would look too scary when she's disappointed for some reason.

Meanwhile...

Customers flooded the store as Daniel became more excited for work. He had grown to love working in Noah's little bakery ever since he tasted Noah's delicious creations. It was tiring but seeing the happy and satisfied look on people's faces just made everything better for him. Their shop wasn't full but not empty at the same time. No one has yet to enter at the moment so Daniel took a seat behind the counter. He drank a large amount of water and saw the adorable Noah, removing his apron and removing flour that mysteriously landed on his head.

"I have to go get sugar for a bit. We ran out. "

Noah shrugged, patting Daniel on the back and went out of the store just as a car parked in front of the shop. Noah ran towards the grocery store near them, scratching his hair a bit because of the hotness of the sun, which was literally beside his own shop and got in the ingredients section.

The twins got out of the car, a little bit frustrated because their Alpha left them for a bit because he had to head to the grocery store to buy drinks first.

They both got in and immediately stopped on their spot.

"Can you smell it Ace?"

Ice called for his brother in their mind link.

"Yes I can you idiot. This is impossible. Do you think he's here?"

"We can't be so sure. Look there's someone on the cash register. He might know."

The mind link was turned off as they walked in front.

"Good morning! I'm Daniel, what would you like to order?"

Daniel smiled at the two handsome and tall strangers in front of him, knowing they are twins because of the similarities. Daniel assumed they were new customers so he showed off his best smile, attempting to earn another regular customer. He awkwardly shifted in his spot as they stared at him, then suddenly they started sniffing the air like some crazy police dogs. They sniffed around and their noses landed on Daniel. They had a weird look on their faces that made the boy very uncomfortable.

"U-um excuse me?"

"No, this can't be true. Ace, do you think he's -... "

The one with lighter blonde hair said, holding the arm of who Daniel assumed was Ace's shoulder. They both looked troubled and confused as they exchanged words.

"The scent isn't strong Ice, but I can smell it on him."

"Wha-"

"Do you know anyone named Noah?" Ace interrupted.

"Y-yes why?"

Daniel furrowed his eyebrows with a confused look, wondering how these people knew who Noah was. A crazy idea popped in to his head but shrugged it off. He shouldn't assume things right now.

"We-"

Ice opened his mouth but suddenly a strong familiar scent hit both of the twin's noses. Their heads turned to the door and widened their eyes as they saw the man they have been waiting to see for such a long time. Noah stood at the door with a man named Zaccheus who basically dragged him from the grocery store. He noticed Zaccheus stiffening and he followed the tall man's gaze that landed on a wide-eyed Daniel, but that wasn't the thing that got Noah so surprised.

It was then that he noticed two identical men, tall and broad looking at him with wide eyes. They both had those familiar blue eyes and blonde hair, the other one darker than the other that had Noah wanting to cry.

No, it can't be...

Noah thought. As if the angels smacked him in the face, he blinked and ran straight to the kitchen that had the others startled. He closed the door and sat down, throwing the bag of sugar away, thinking about what or rather who he just saw.

Daniel wasn't doing okay either and wished he could just run away like Noah. He had three large gorgeous looking men in front of him, blocking his view from everyone. The tallest of the three was intently looking at him like he was a piece of meat.

"O-okay this is weird. Could you guys just maybe order then leave? I don't mean to be rude but I don't know what is happening."

He had his left hand on his chest, feeling his rising heartbeat. He heard the man chuckle in a deep voice, smirking.

"Why would I leave you? Mate. "
