Warning: Unedited!

Third person's POV:

Fiona froze. She couldn’t move.

She was making herself ready to scream. But to her surprise, she sensed him getting out of the bed.

"I am leaving now." She heard him.

Sound of his footsteps faded slowly as he exited the room.

Fiona was on high dose sedatives. Medicine effect didn’t let her nerves to stay awake. Thinking about Adam, she fell asleep again.

Next day, when she woke up, she remembered about last night. She was on high dose of antidepressant which made her stay quiet, otherwise she would do everything she could to harm her.

She rolled down her bed and headed to bathroom. After getting fresh, when she came out, she saw Brian and Zack were sitting on the bed.

"Good morning, sweetie." Brian greeted her.

"Good morning, dad, Zachy." Fiona smiled weakly.

"Fio, quickly have breakfast. Dad is taking us to a park." Zach chirped in excitement.

Two maid entered with their breakfast. Zach immediately dag in.

"I don't understand why are we still here. Won't that devil let us go?" Zach queried with his mouth full of pancakes.

"And these pancakes are not tasty like yours, Fio." He spoke.

"I will make some for you tomorrow." Fiona said.

"Dad, he will let us go, right?" Fiona asked looking at her dad.

Brian was happy to finally being able to see the spark of hope in her eyes. But he didn't want to bluff her. Even though it wasn't impossible, she should know it would get difficult.

"What did I say yesterday? I will take this place. With both of you. But for this you have to be stronger. You have to defeat him." Brian commented.

"Dad, yesterday he came in my room." Fiona mentioned.

"What! Did he do anything? Did he touch you?" Brian asked hurriedly.

"No, he left but didn’t do anything." Brian nodded hearing her.

They had breakfast.

Fiona was so weak and skinny. She didn’t understand what to wear. Where to find dresses.

Ever since she was here, she lost her right to choose. Everything good was snatched from her life and she was forced into vile things.

"Miss, here are your clothes." A older looking maid gestured to the cupboard.

Fiona looked at her. She looked familiar. Fiona recognised her, she was the one who helped her to escape.

"Irony to see that fate again brought me here. Isn’t it?" Fiona said, her lips stretched in a sad smile.

The maid didn't say anything. Fiona took a full sleeve shirt and jeans pant and put them on. Then tied her hair with a band.

Looking at the mirror, she hardly could recognise the girl staring back her. She looked broken, she looked miserable.

At least she was a survivor.

"Are you ready, honey?" She heard her dad.

"Oh. Yes." Fiona turned to him.

"My dear, my look so pretty." His father kissed her forehead. Brian wanted to take a cab but Adam told him they have to take his car if they want to go to park. Or else he wouldn’t let them go out.

So, they had to go in his car. Zack jumped out of the car when they reached the park. They headed inside of the park and sat on a bench.

"It’s so nice here. I can breathe a little." Fiona whispered.

"Let's have a walk." Brian spoke. Fiona stood up and they walked inside the park.

"Do you remember honey, we used to visit park in every Sunday with your mum?" Brian reminisced.

"Yes, dad. It was awesome." Fiona answered.

"Now I think about my past, I can't understand anything. What is happening with me. Why is happening with me." She remarked.

"Just a little bit, dear. I will make everything fine." Brian asserted.

"I can only hope for this, dad. I am too tired now." She said.

Children were playing with their parents, friends. Fiona also noticed some young couple of her age. They were dating.

One of the couple kissed each other.

Suddenly, Fiona saw the glimpse of her life she lost. She was just a young girl of 21. She had so many dreams, she was a bright student. But now, she was hopeless, helpless. She lost all directions of her life.

She felt like she aged 40 or 50 years ahead of her real age within the last couple of months. How her life changed so drastically?

"Fio, let's play hide and seek. You have yo find me. Okay?" Zack said.

"Dear son, your sister is not well. She is weak. Let's play another time." Brian told him.

Zack nodded but his smile vanished, his face sank.

"It's okay, dad. A little playing won’t hurt me." Fiona didn’t want to make Zack sad. He was so happy after so many days.

"Yey! Fio, you are the best." Zack clapped his hands, jumping.

"Close your eyes and don't open it until I say." Zack said.

"Okay, okay." Fiona laughed.

Wherever Zack hid, Fiona would find him within a second. Zack was losing his interest.

So Fiona pretended not to see him and took her time. After playing for about an hour, Fiona was feeling exhausted.

"Zack, let's sit for a little. Sis is tired." Fiona told him.

"Okay."

A lady bumped into Fiona suddenly. Fiona was about to fall but Brian held her.

"Lady, you should watch where you are going. She is sick. You were about to hurt her." Brian yelled.

"I am so sorry. Actually, I am chasing my son. He is so naughty. But I can't walk fast. So sorry. Are you hurt?" The lady apologised.

Fiona noticed the huge bump on her. She was about 7 or eight months pregnant. Suddenly, her heart twisted in pain remembering about her pregnancy. She became pregnant once. Even though the child was result of rape, she wanted to keep it. She loved the lump of blood that was growing inside her.

But they had to snatch it too. The only good thing that happened to her. They snatched her right to be a mother too.

"It's okay. Please go look for your son." Fiona said." Fiona's voice broke as she said. The lady walked past and immediately a loud sob broke into her mouth.

Her whole body was shaking vigorously with the force of her sobbing.

"T-they had to snatch away the last ray of h-hope too." She stuttered under her crying. Brian realised why she was crying. He hugged her and walked to the nearby bench.

Zack was staring at those two but didn't dare what was wrong. Fiona bawled hee heart out.

"Let's go back." Fiona said.

They returned Adam's mansion. She ran toward her room crying.

Adam noticed her crying.

"Why is she crying?" He asked Brian.

"Something in the park triggered her. She remembered her past and couldn’t take it." Brian spoke under gritted teeth.

Without giving him any time to question further, he followed Fiona.

He comforted Fiona when she sobbed.

After lunch, Zack was taking nap in his room, then Brian came to Fiona's room to check on her.

"Are you feeling alright, dear? Have you taken the medicine?" He sat on the edge of her bed.

"Yes, dad."

"Dad, I want to know something. You have to tell me truth." She quizzed.

"Yes, what do you want to know?"

"After, I was missing, did he do something to you and Zack?" Fiona spoke.

"It’s all gone, dear. Let it go. You have to move on, we have to move on. And forget the past." Brian tried to change the topic.

"Forget the past?" She quizzed. Then realization hit her, her father knew what happened to her.

"You know everything?" She demanded.

Brian nodded.

Fiona sighed.

"Who told you?"

"I found out myself. When I saw you, I realised that something was wrong. Then later I got to know everything from the doctor." He answered.

"They took away my child too." Tears rolled down her cheeks again.

His father squeezed her hands.

"Everything will be alright. Believe in God." Brian consoled her.

"Dad, he told me that you did something very terrible to him and his mother. Is it true?" She wanted assurance.

"Dear, I have given him proof that I didn’t do it. He made a mistake. He took me for someone else." Brian explained.

"Then why doesn’t he let us go? I have nothing that he can take anymore. Living here feels suffocating, dad." She said.

"Dad, do you know I thought you both were dead. He showed me false proof." Her voice cracked. Brian's eyes widened in shock. Adam left no stone unturned to break this little girl.

He hugged her.

"A little bit. We will leave this place soon." Brian assured her.

Fiona nodded.

Fiona was lying on her bed at night when she sensed someone taking her in his arms.

Her sense got alerted. She knew who it was. It was no one but Adam. She felt his breathing hitting her face, his lips touched her lips.

"Aaaahhhh." A scream tore free from her throat. She was scared, after so many days, he was so near of her.

She instinctively pushed him placing her palms on his chest.

"Don't touch me!" She cried. But Adam's hold on her got tighter. She was breathing hard, feeling suffocated suddenly. Tears ran free from her eyes.

"Shh. I am not going to hurt you." He responded.

"Y-you m-mean hurting me more than you have a-already?" She uttered somehow. Her chest felt heavy.
