Submitting to Him

Prologue

No one on earth could have ever imagined that she would be the one who would actually be the person who would fight her own sister just for the sake of keeping the man that she loved most in her life. And not just the man was her lover, he meant every single thing to her.

Artemis looked at Assentia who smiled at her like she had won.

“Accept it Sis. You are the loser. You always have been the loser and you are always going to lose when it comes between you and me,” said Assentia, as she looked at her perfectly manicured nails which were painted with the colour Shocking pink. She always had this weird fascination towards the pink colour, since she was a child.

“I don’t want to win against you Assent. I never have,” said Artemis, as calmly as she could. She had to do anything and she had to reach through that door and she was going to say anything that bitch wanted to hear for that.

“Oh really! Then why are you not letting go of your claim of that shitty piece of bastard that you call Daddy? I get what I want Artemis, and tonight you are going to watch as I ride your Daddy into oblivion and he will scream my name before the night is over,” said Assentia as she looked back at Artemis but did not find her standing in front of her anymore. But where did she go?

She was standing there just a moment ago. Assentia turned back and her eyes came to meet an identical pair of eyes boring back in her.

“No you are not,” said Artemis as quietly as she could before she punched her twin sister in the throat making her stumble back and gasp for breath.

“You are never going to lay a finger on the man Assent. I made a vow to him and I am going to keep the promise,” said Artemis as she pulled out a hair pin from her hair and opened the lock of the door of the warehouse where they had been holding him. It should have been the other way round but it was not her who was the secret heir of Italian Mafia.

He had known it since the beginning and he had still not felt it necessary to make her aware about the danger that had been looming on his head since the first time that she had seen him. He had been in hiding and now they had caught up with him just because of her sister. She was the mole who had informed them about the whereabouts of her Daddy. But he was not her real daddy, and neither had she had any daughterly feelings towards him. And now that she had bonded with him, it was her solemn duty to save him.

It was the man she loved. Her Daddy.

And now it was her chance to save him from the hands of those killers.
